Device Repair Shop

Description of Work: I'm a longtime customer of this repair service, formerly The Computer Store, now doing business as the Device Repair Shop. I remember entering the store and seeing rows of typewriters and PC's in for repair (at a time when there were more typewriters in for repair than PC's). That was maybe 20 to 25 years, ago. Now, you hardly find typewriters anymore. My how times have changed! Over the years, I've purchased a lot of accessories and peripherals from them and had a couple of PC's serviced. More recently, in January of this year, I had my hard disk fail. It was an old PC, so all I wanted was to salvage some photos and documents. I had The Computer Store recover the data from my hard disk and transcribe it to a USB-drive. The service was fast and smooth. No problems. And yesterday, I dropped off my son's PC for repair of a boot-up problem at their new store in the Mamo Mart in downtown Hilo. I also asked them to install a new SSD, graphics card, and power supply that I provided (simple installations that I could do, but would rather have them do to avoid later problems of my teenage son complaining that I did it wrong). I expect to continue to receive good quality, dependable service, at a reasonable cost. I've gotten that before from The Computer Store. I expect that legacy to continue at the Device Repair Shop.
