I was skeptical at first as I watched him "dry clean" the carpets but the results were superb and the carpet was dry in a couple of hours. Technically not really dry cleaning as he does use water but he uses a minimal amount. I think it would be critical to very thoroughly vacuum the carpets right before he cleans them. Very pleased with the results, would definitely hire him again. Our landlord was also very pleased with the results.
