A plumber from another company tried to fix a leaky faucet a year ago and it still dripped. It is repaired now and does not leak. As the plumbers were leaving I asked them to look at an outside drain pipe that had a leak, not originally requested. They took time to fix it plus another pipe that had a leak. They spent a lot of extra time, excellent work.

The plumber (Brandon) had arrived reasonably quick, however his demeanor was not pleasent and rude as if I was bothering him and he rather be somewhere else. He did assess the kitchen (initial problem; ruptured supply line) and recommended that I change out the bathroom supply lines and valves and had repaired it. I was not interested in the bathroom repair, and he had already started to replace the bathroom line/valves. I eventually paid for both the kitchen and bath repairs, but was still not comfortable with his unprofessionalism and “pushy” sale to repair other than what I called them for.

Inspection and report to the water department was done in a timely manner. Communications was excellent during the whole process. I would definitely use their services for any plumbing needs.

Dan responded the same day as our phone call and arrived the next morning to assess the work needed. Demo was done 2 days later but after 2 weeks of trying find some one to work on the carpentry work and painting etc my husband did it himself. Maui Plumbing returned to finish the job just a few days after my husband called to tell them we were ready. So far we are really pleased with the work done and would call them again without hesitation.

Attentive to our urgent phone call, sent a guy out quickly, friendly and courteous, professional and will only do business with this company now. Only have to have a few bad encounters to realize this isn't the kind of thing to be messing around with. If I were you, I would just call these guys first =) Thanks Matt!!

I was quoted one price but when I received the bill, he priced it $25 more. I pointed it out, and he adjusted the bill. Later after the job was complete, there was water all over the floor. The owner came out and said the tank was broke. I know that because the screws were too tight, the tank was broken. I'm no plumber but I do have my opinions. He said it was the wrong tank for the toilet, but the same brand. I had to pay again for them to re-do everything. I later realized that the toilet seat won't stay up. I did not want to call them back. I was not happy with the plumbing job. I think a handyman would have done a better job.

Roots were growing into my bess pool and causing a back flow. I phoned this company to ask for a recommendation regarding a permanent fix to this ongoing issue. Cost was around $180. He phoned a few days later while I was on the road. I asked for an email of his recommendations which involved putting in an expensive septic system, as well as a company that could do the digging, etc. I never received the email (also checked my junk file.) In the meantime, I sought second and third opinions and chose a cheaper option that seemed to make more sense in my situation (have to wait and see, of course.) Maybe there was an email glitch, but there was never a phone call to check if that were the case.

All was good and the owner is a very nice guy. He was right there when we needed him.

Ray was very responsive and took care of the repair in short order. I've always been impressed by his work and reasonable prices. While here I got him to provide me with estimates to install a new toilet and put in a new half bathroom.

First off, these guys were super prompt. They showed up within an hour of my phone call. The whole houses drainage was backed up. I was a bit scared of what the problem might be. 2 guys came in, removed the toilet from the master bath and cleared the drainage line somewhere near the street. We had lived here for a total of 4 days! I knew we had not caused the problem. They were done in about 1hour. They gave it to me up front though, that it might take longer than 2 hours, and that if it did, there would be extra charges. Yet, they fixed the backup in much less than that!

I requested service from Maui Plumbing when a previous plumber had to cancel -- we had a main water line break, so it was important to get it fixed soon! I called in the morning, and two plumbers came out that afternoon. They fixed the original leak, and when another pipe broke during a pressure test, fixed that as well. It was slightly more expensive than I expected, but the job was done right and quickly.

I recently had a problem with my solar hot water heater, and I was really afraid that the entire unit would have to be replaced. I called Maui Plumbing and spoke to the owner (Ray). He arranged for one of his senior plumbers to come to my home in Kihei the very next day. The plumber who showed up (Steve Dearborne) was very knowledgeable. Steve was very friendly and easy to talk to. He quickly determined that I did not have to get my solar hot water heater replaced. It only needed a new thermostat and heating element. Steve installed the new parts and it is working great now! The total repair price was extremely reasonable. I have used Maui Plumbing several times and they are truly an EXCELLENT plumbing firm. I can recommend this plumbing company with absolutely no reservations. If you live on Maui, this is the company to call if you have any plumbing problem. You will not be disappointed.

We decided to change out the brass plumbing fixtures for chrome. Ray had no problem performing the work and the result improved the look of the bathroom.

Ray arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He worked quickly and did not make a mess. We would highly recommend him, and would use him in the future for any plumbing problems.

It was sunday morning and I found out that I have a plumbing leak. So I called two other plumbing services but since it was Sunday that I have to leave a voice mail for them to call me back. I was so impatience that I found Maui Plumbing inc on Angieslist so I decided to give them a call. The first two ring, someone answer and I told him my situation and he responded in ten minutes as he promise. He warn me about his price because it the weekend but I told him to do it anyway. He offered me discount if I can dig the ground for him because he was doing another emergency call nearby. I said OK, after 5 to 10 minute of diggging I called him back to repair my plumbing system. It took him only 10 minutes to complete the job.

Owner arrived on time for estimate and was willing to discuss alternatives for several of my small jobs. When it was time to come to do the job, he called to let me know that he was running late because of the job he was on BEFORE he was supposed to arrive (compared to after he was supposed to arrive like so many plumbers) so I could make adjustments in my schedule. Overall a very competent and professional company.

I was very impressed with them. The man was prompt, friendly, and professional. He came out a couple hours earlier than he said he could which was a big help to us.

My tankless propane water heater quit working yesterday. I called Ray yesterday around 5 p.m. He set up a service call for me today for after 11 a.m. as he had two other jobs this morning. I asked him to call when he was on his way which he did. He had a nice truck rig, was completely "on it", fixed the problem promptly and was professional and personable to boot. He told me his price up front ($125) for the call and to clean the pilot and most likely fix the problem. If he needed to replace something instead, the price would be $185. He was done in just less than an hour and I was charged $125. He emailed the receipt(so green) and I would highly recommend him. Nice guy, nice service!

I had spent an hour trying to unclog it myself, but without success (I had taken the drain apart and used a 15 foot snake to try to clear it, but hadn't reached the obstacle). After finding the ratings here, I called the number listed. Ray immediately answered the phone, even though he was at lunch. He said he was nearby, and had an opening in his schedule, so he would be over as soon as he finished eating, about 20 minutes. He arrived on time and looked very professional. He laid out canvas to cover the bottom of the cabinet and our floor, and then went to work. He disconnected the trap (I had reconnected it and run more water down the sink in my unsuccessful try at fixing it), being careful not to spill the dirty water all over. He then fed a snake down the drain until he ran into the obstacle, he says about 18 feet out. He cleared the obstacle, then ran the snake farther out, and then ran it in and out over that area about 4 times to ensure that he had actually fixed the problem and that there were no others. When he was done, he cleaned up after himself. He was very courteous at all times, and answered my questions politely and completely. I was very impressed, and will definitely call him if I have any more plumbing problems!

I had a small leak under my condo sink. Since I was out of town and had guests in my unit I thought it best to call a plumber. Ray answered his phone promptly and was helpful. I was given a loose estimate over the phone based on my description of the problem. I was given a window of time for our appointment and asked him to call prior to arriving which he agreed without hesitation. He wasn't available until the next day, so I called my handyman who was able to temporarily solve the problem, until I'll have a profession take a look once my guests depart. When I called to cancel the appointment for the next day, he was just as friendly and helpful. Customer service is important to me and I hope his work is as good as his phone interaction.

I called Maui Plumbing and left a message. The same afternoon Ray returned my call and set up an appointment for the following day. He was prompt, polite, and very efficient. He also makes sure he leaves no messes behind. He did all the work to our satisfaction. We will definitely use Ray again when we have plumbing problems, and highly recommend him.

Very impressed with his work and work ethics, i called Ray for a second time to do plumbing work for me. He originally replaced my kitchen faucet a few months ago. The last time i called Ray for his services was to replace an old toilet with a new one that i had bought. He was prompt, calling before his arrival and proceed with speed and completed the job leaving the work area clean. he even offered to dispose of the old toilet for me.

I called Ray to have my leaky faucet fixed and he was available that same day. He told me he could come by between 3 and 5 in the afternoon. He was punctual, arriving at around 3:15pm. He checked out my sink and was able to promptly repair it. He was quick, efficient and very friendly. I will gladly being calling him for any future problems.

After I tried using our handy person who changed the valves but didn't stop the leak, I needed a plumber to stop a leak in our tub/shower. So, having had a bad experience with Allen's plumbing here a few years ago, and not knowing a plumber personally, I looked up Angie's list on the web for a reference. The first name on the list with a perfect was Maui Plumbing so I called them. He came, looked at the job, gave me a verbal estimate, and did the job upon receiving my ok.
