Kaui's Kleaners

Description of Work: We rent out a separate unit in our home, and our latest tenant apparently had no clue about basic maintenance such as rinsing the bathroom or kitchen sink, throwing trash in a trash can, leaving muddy shoes aside upon entering, etc. The result was truly frightening. Rusting silverware in the white ceramic kitchen sink, crusted toothpaste and other toiletries in the bathroom sink, bedroom and entry room carpets littered with trash and dirt, etc.. We called Kau's Kleaners when this tenant moved out. I really feared that we'd have to replace the kitchen and bathroom sinks, and maybe the carpets. Kaui's team somehow made everything look like it had before he moved in. Based on this we can highly recommend Kaui's Kleaners!

Description of Work: Kaui's Kleaners is my go-to person to call when I need an apartment cleaned. A former tenant didn't do much cleaning while they were occupying the apartment and did even less cleaning when they moved out. I gave Kaui a call and we scheduled a date for cleaning. A few hours before the scheduled cleaning, she stopped by to set off a few bug bombs. At the scheduled time she and her crew arrived. They cleaned the stove, the fridge, all the shelves in the kitchen, the bathroom (shower stall, toilet and shelves), and all the floors. Screens were taken down so that all the windows could be cleaned. One of the workers even scrubbed the outside laundry tub - inside and out! Once they were all done the place looked and smelled so clean and wonderful!

Description of Work: Made an appointment well in advance for move out cleaning. We were supposed to be their first appointment for the day but they called the day before and asked if they could come later in the morning so that they would be able to squeeze in another customer before our job. We agreed when they assured us that they would still be able to perform a complete cleaning of our house in the remaining time. | |They arrived later than we had expected. It appears that Kaui underestimated how much time it would take to clean our house as they seemed rushed to finish up by the days end. Because we were not able to do a post cleaning inspection before the cleansers departed our house, we withheld $50.00 from our final payment pending our inspection. Before she left, Kaui told us that if we were not satisfied she would send her crew back to complete the job. | |When we did our post-cleaning inspection we found that the overall job that they did was not of the quality that we expected. From what we had read about Kaui's Kleaners in the reviews, we were disappointed with the quality and thoroughness of their work. There were several shelves, drawers and ledges and fans that they did not clean throughly which still showed dust and debris. The oven had greasy smears inside and out. The kitchen floor had cat litter along the baseboards. All of the other floors had debris and dust along the edges. The wood floors appear to have been wet mopped as their finish was dull and smeared. This was even after we specifically instructed them to not wet mop the wood floors. | |When we advised her of the items we wanted corrected her response was "Keep the $50". We ended up finishing the job ourselves which took several hours of our time. | |We should have withheld $150.00 from the final payment to compensate for the extra work that we had to do because of their poor job.

Description of Work: The assurred us that they were licensed for pest control x 3, and in the end they are not, so we had to repeat (and pay for) pest treatment. They agreed to pay only 1/2 of the additional cost, and never have sent the payment.

Description of Work: Over 3 days boxed and moved material from lanai. Cleaned bathroom and kitchen. She brought man with her and one day her daughter. Still cannot find things in kitchen. And daughter asked if she could have things. That day they were late explained they stopped for breakfast but did not call and my schedule was thrown off. She was very pleasant but man made me uncomfortable.

Description of Work: Kaui's kleaners were a very professional and polite cleaning service. They did an outstanding spring cleaning service including all windows and screens. I would highly recommend their service.

Description of Work: Cleaned 3 bedroom town home that had been used as a rental. The home was vacant. Home required deep cleaning. They came out and looked at the home, assured us they could get all of the bathroom mold and hard water buildup off and clean the entire home for the bid price. However that was not the case. They arrived more than an hour late with a crew of 4. They then had to hurry to leave to pick up a relative. Some of the work was excellent, some I had to ask them to redo and there were areas I didn't know they had missed until after they left. The woman in charge was very competent; however, a couple of her employees needed a lot of supervision. The late arrival coupled with the need to leave promptly at 5 left me with a rushed and partially finished job. One of the employees had several calls wanting to know when he would be finished. The entire crew was polite, clean and very friendly.

Description of Work: Excellent service and very thorough. The only reason for not using the service again is the cost. If I could afford it, I would not hesistate to use Kaui's Kleaner again.

Description of Work: Kaui and her crew did my initial house cleaning today. I was home for the first hour and a half and was impressed by how efficiently they worked. I have a 4 bedroom/3 bath home with over 20 windows. The price of $550 for the initial clean and $200 for biweekly cleanings seemed appropriated for the size of our house (about 2200 sq ft). They did an excellent job (especially with the added challenge of two long-haired cats) and I am looking forward to having Kaui and her trustworthy staff back in a few weeks.

Description of Work: Kaui and an associsate came to give me an estimate on bi-weekly housekeeping. The type of service she was offering and the type I needed were not a good match. If you are in need of a housekeeper, ask her for a quote and what she can do for you. It just wasn't a good fit for me. Kaui probably does not remember us because she never actually worked for us after the initial interview in 2012, but she was here.
