Terminix - Aiea -Termite & Pest Control

The person who came out to do the initial evaluation was punctual, courteous, and seemed knowledgable. Work on the home was scheduled 2 days after the initial evaluation, but no one showed up to service the house, and I was not called with notification. Whole day wasted. When I checked in with Terminex, no visit had actually been scheduled. Found out that later that day that there was a scheduling slip up, and servicing was scheduled the next day. For that visit, Terminex showed up within the pre-specified time frame, and workers were polite, efficient and seemed knowledgable. Of course it still remains to be seen if we have eliminated the rat problem. Despite the scheduling problem noted above, I was happy with the service and would use this company again.

They don't show up when they say they are and never call to say they're running late or not coming. It's not that hard to call a client so we aren't waiting around all day.

Their service is great. We are very pleased with Terminix.

We have an annual contract with them. They give plenty of advice notice when they are coming. They do a good job and we don't have any problems with the insects. We get along with them fine. We had an issue a couple of years ago and they came out promptly. They give us a clear explanation of when they are coming and what they are going to do and what they found out. They are very professional people. We've used them for 10 years. The only problem we had with them was they had one person that left the gate open several years ago. I called and they apologized and never did it again. They are a very good company.

Had Terminix come out and tent our house in Kihei - they did NOT show up on the day of our contract - we called and they said "High winds" prevented the tenting of our house. Our property manager was at the house that morning and no one showed up to check if winds were too strong - Lie #1; no one showed up and the winds were calm. I called Terminix and they said they would be there the next morning at 8 AM - I had to pay for 1 more night of lodging for our 2 renters. Next morning they showed up at 11 AM - the crew said they were late because they were taking down tenting from the day before - winds were really blowing at 11 AM - Lie #2; tenting was done in Kihei the morning before. They tented in high winds and my renters moved back in the next morning - termite activity seems to have stopped. I got a call from Terminix demanding payment the next day - I said as soon as their invoice was in my hands and I had instructions on how to lodge a complaint against Terminix of Maui and corporate Terminix I would gladly pay - the lady on the phone said no problem. 1 month later no invoice was sent, no instructions on how to lodge a complaint and get the $300 extra in motel charges for my 2 renters. Lie #3; no instructions nor invoice sent. I finally gave up, called them and asked for an invoice to be eMailed to me and I paid that invoice today. They did try to bill me for $2,610.00 when my bid was only for $2,446.87 - they demanded the $2,610.00 payment unless I could prove I was not lying to them about the $2,446.87 - luckily I had a copy of the bid and faxed it to them. Without that bid they would have cheated me out of $163.13 more money - what a bunch of crooks. This is a totally corrupt, incompetent, and a company I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Avoid them at all costs...........

So far, I have no problems with them. When we bought the house, they are the people we have contract with, I have nothing against them, they're fine company, they're a large company.

It was great. Very professional and always arrives on time.

They are not very prompt, they don't follow up on calls, and they always show up late to the time they give. You have to call them. It's really expensive.

Terminix The Terminix man, that comes here is very nice.

Please see the details above. We have yet to received a a refund for an annual service we cancelled in 8/2010. We have called Terminix 4 times in the last 8 months and are told that Terminix is processing our refund.
