Description of Work: We called Certapro, as we had an pre-inspection on our home and the inspector found mold/mildew/dirt on our soffits. Certapro had painted our home 3 years ago. Karl came right out, looked and told us he would schedule an appointment for us. Within 10 days a crew of 2 came out and took care of the problem.

Description of Work: Repainted interior (bedrooms, hall, stairway), installed trim around windows that had not been properly done by the window installers, repainted trim, cleaned and painted beams inside and out. Helped us select paint colors. Indulged us some bright stuff on small areas but wisely guided us to more suitable colors in big rooms. We love the colors |

Description of Work: Met me after work (I work a crazy schedule). Complete walk-through. Took notes and photos. Emailed a detailed proposal along with insurance papers, etc. Helped in paint selection. Had some helpful advice for a first-time home owner.

Description of Work: We have used Karl's Certapro paint team twice in the past six years to wash, prep, and apply two coats of paint to our 2-story house. The job estimate is very detailed with paint selection, job schedule process, and price estimate. It is emailed to you after an on site assessment by Karl. On this last job, my neighbor and I obtained an estimate and discount since we were repeat customers and the two jobs overlapped. The paint crew was friendly and professional in pace, work quality, and clean up at the end of each day. The first paint crew had to leave the first day due to a family emergency on Good Friday but Karl replaced them immediately and the job continued without further delay on Monday. Overall, entire job took three days with two painters using spray and rollers, brush on detail work. I would not hesitate to recommend Certapro for exterior paint work.

Description of Work: At the start we really liked these guys. Very personable and easy to work with. The first estimate that we got was great. I was so surprised at how inexpensive the job would be. Subsequently, the cost was revised upwards three times. At the end of the day it was almost double the original estimate, however the scope of the work did not change. I requested a particular paint to be used because my experience with this particular brand had been excellent, however the Certipro representative convinced us to use a different brand. The paint was (and is) extremely poor. The slightest touch marks the paint. Weekly we have to clean spots on the walls. We have two adults living in our house. No pets, no children. The painter had to return numerous times because the paint was not covering well. Anywhere the metal knife that had been used on the drywall joints or on a patch had left a mark was not covered. We still, months later, can see the marks through the paint. I really could not recommend this contractor to anyone I liked.
