It went fabulous, Don was prompt, quick, friendly and profesional and he did a phenominal job. My bedroom setup was nice but my walls were bland, they needed something...and sometihng a litle more than paint. i found what I thought was a wonderful textured wall covering and then my task was picking the right contractor for the job. I called Up Against the Wall. LLC, and Mr Don Moncreif came out to my condo and made an assessment. I gave him a deposit since I ws going to have to delay the application process, and he told me to call or email him when I was ready. And I did. oN 5 June my wall covering was applied to my wall and I have been happey about it every since.

They price they charge is reasonable. The guy that went to my house was very flexible. He did a very professional job. When I talked to him he immediately identified what was needed. He's a very professional guy.

Don is a true pro at wallpapering. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing, and I left the house while he did his wrork. I came back and everything was almost done, and it was a huge transformation. I will recommend him to anyone wanting wall paper!

He is a very nice guy and did a very good job on the wallpaper. He is usually a good painter, but we had a few issues with painting. He didn't cover everything when he was painting and there were some little spots.

They were very professional and very quick and on time. Overall it was a very good experience. I have no complaints or weaknesses at all.

Don did a great job on the walls getting them smooth. He then primed and painted the whole room. I would recommend Don.

Called two days before agreed upon application date and explained a problem he encountered on another job and requested rescheduling. We agreed on a new date which was no problem for me. Arrived on the new date on time, set up and applied the wallpaper in a very professional manner. Finished the job on a timely basis and left the work area very clean.

We had old wallpaper in our mudroom and back stairway that was peeling so I thought it would be easy to remove on my own. Some came off but left a thick coat of dried glue and a lot of the paper took the wall with it despite my best efforts. I soon had a nightmare on my hands and wished I had never started the project. I called several painters but then saw that Up Against the Wall was rated highly on Angie's List so I gave them a call. Don came out the same day and gave me the best estimate of the three. I am so glad that I accepted his bid - he removed the rest of the paper, mudded, sanded, and painted the walls. He did a great job! It looks brand new. He finished on time, on budget, and worked with me so that I could finish the other parts of the project on my own. We have asked him to give us estimates for several other rooms - the previous owner of our home loved wallpaper! Don is neat, respectful, and a genuinely nice guy.

Don Moncrief (the owner) came out and did a free estimate not just for the room we were certain about, but also for individual rooms in the house. He removed several layers of very old wallpaper, floated the sheetrock until it was perfectly smooth and hung the wallpaper beautifully. It's now the best looking room in the house. Don's an artist with incredible attention to detail. This too to give you an idea of how respectfully he treats your house and how little (negative) impact he has on the rest of your life: On the day of installation, we were also moving into the house. After about two and a half hours of moving in, Don came out to his truck, and one of the movers said, "Where the h** * was that guy?" Don is also a really nice guy, great experience overall, but most of all, beautiful work.

Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Okay. I might try this company again in the future, but I was not impressed at this time.

Don Moncrief, the owner, came promptly to give me an estimate, emailed it within 48 hours, and we agreed on a time he would come within a few weeks (his busy schedule and mine). He was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. He estimated the job would take two days, and he was right on the money. This was an unusual job. I wanted a 15-foot-long, 9-foot-high mural to go on a wall, and the ceilings in two rooms to be wallpapered. He and a helper did a wonderful job, and they were immaculate. Don even went the extra mile, suggesting certain "tweaks" to how he put up the paper that made it look even better, but always checking with me first to make sure that is what I wanted. I was so pleased with his work that I asked him to give me an estimate for painting the interior. There is nothing negative that I can say about Don or his company. I would recommend him (and I have already) to anyone who would ask.

They charged me less than $200 for all the work that was completed. That’s probably on the high end. It was probably close to about a $100, I can’t remember. I would highly recommend them. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

I had attempted to repair some of the seams myself. However, I found it EXTREMELY difficult to get all of the curled edges to lie flat. I wasn?t sure how successful this project was going to be. I liked Don the moment he introduced himself to do the estimate. He was punctual, courteous, professional, and he seemed very confident. He immediately managed our expectations by stating up-front that he would not be able to get all of the seams to lie flat (as I suspected from my repair attempt). The wallpaper was too old. But he assured me they would look much better when he was done and promised to do his best. Don far exceeded our expectations. The seams not only looked ?better? they were incredibly better! Some are still slightly curled (as expected), but much less noticeable. And the patches are virtually invisible. Don used a drop cloth and kept the work areas completely clean. The work was completed on-time and on-budget. We will definitely call Don when we replace our wallpaper!

UP AGAINST THE WALL LLC. The gentleman from Up Against The Wall, was extremely courteous and very responsive ! I left him a message and within a couple of hours he had replied to my message. He was prompt, on time, prices were extremely reasonable, for the work I had him do. The quality of his workmanship, was phenomenal, fantastic !

Don was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He came out and gave a free estimate & helped me pick out the wallpaper and paint colors. He was always punctual and polite and the work was exceptional! would definitely use him again!

Everythign went fantasic with this company. They were extremally professional and always on time. There prices are very compettive. Overall, the quality of work was excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone.

This was by far the best wallpaper installation I have ever had. Don Moncrief is the owner and he was very fast, but perfect He was not always exactly on time, but he was definitely worth it. I would not use anyone else.
