Company was very responsive. Very clean. Left no mess. Had them come back and repair one rough edge. They took care of it the next day. No argument. Very pleasant to work with. Will definitely use them again.

Totally pleased with the work! They arrived promptly as scheduled. They covered furniture etc. with plastic to protect from dust, etc. Both repair areas were finished very well. I didn't have to do any further work (i.e., sanding) to be able to paint the repairs. The owner even gave me some hints on what would be necessary for the painting (which I did myself). I can't detect any seams, etc. where they repaired. In sum, excellent job and would definitely use them again. The only very small criticism is that at one patch area they had to remove an A/C vent, but didn't replace it when finished.

Bert was fantastic! They fit me in for a last-minute urgent job and I was a new client! The ceiling and wall that Bert repaired look fantastic! He arrived later than expected but he called to inform me of this change earlier in the day - wonderful! Once he started working on our ceiling, he realized the job was bigger than expected so he had to add on a little to the estimated cost - again, no problem; the additional cost was totally understandable! He was very friendly and respectful and I plan on using him for all my drywall needs!

Absolutely outstanding work! Bert was very responsive in providing a quote and clearly answered all our questions about how he would complete the work and possible "out-of-scope" situations that he might encounter. We had such a sense of trust in working with Bert, helped by checking a couple of references, that we felt confident giving him access to the house during our absence to complete the work. Bert is extremely talented and worked miracles with the ceilings. He coordinated his time on the site very efficiently with a paint crew and electrician and most importantly after the job (and the interior painting) did a remarkable clean up. Bert stayed in touch as he encountered one or two surprises, sending photos of a couple of problem areas to illustrate and help explain his recommended repairs. The clean up was very welcome as we arrived with a trailer hoping to be able to move in, but prepared for a delay so we could clean up. What we found was a spotless house that surpassed my wife's high standards. We later learnt that Bert and his wife had personally done a final scrub. Bert has changed my mind on drywall repairs. While this was a large job, I won't hesitate to call on Bert for smaller repairs - his skill with all things drywall and attention to detail while exhibiting such a pleasant attitude makes a professional repair the far better alternative to DIY. Thank you Bert for exceeding our expectations and making our home updated and so much more attractive.

Bert was punctual in his appearance for his estimate and his scheduled work. Bert did an excellent job, both with the skimming and in repairing the two areas where we had to move an electrical outlet and remove an in-wall toilet paper holder, particularly in light of the fact that the two repairs had not been included in the original estimate and he was not aware of them until he arrived to start work. He worked quickly and he did the skimming and the sanding with a minimal amount of dust. Bert's prices were reasonable, he stuck to his estimate and we were very satisfied with the results. We will certainly contact him again if we need additional dry wall work done.

They're very good. They were very prompt and professional and explains what they are going to do and do it. They're nearby and reasonably priced and do good work.

Extremely friendly and responsive. From the first time I called to completion of the project took about 36 hours. Bert was one of the nicest people I have ever had come to our house for work and will reccomend him to all of our friends in the area. Work looks great and was done for an extremely reasonable price for the amount of time he spent working at our house.

Bert did a fantasic job from start to finish. On the same day I called him, Bert came to my home that evening after working a long day on another drywall job to give me an estimate. His price was very reasonable and fair. Three days later he started the work and readily accommodated a few additional repairs not on the original estimate at a generously fair price. He took great care to put plastic down on the floors and carpet and put up plastic tents around each ceiling area needing repair to keep the dust down. The results were much better than expected, and the popcorn he applied to the repaired ceiling areas blends perfectly with the existing treatment. Best of all, he finished almost all of the work in a single afternoon. He returned the next morning to sand the floated wall sections with a machine and by hand, sucking up the dust as he sanded the walls smooth. On his own initiative, he sanded other sections of the walls as well to give them a more perfect look overall. Bert is a highly skilled, hard-working professional with a great personality who was more than happy to have our family's Golden Retriever "assist" him as he worked. His wife, Lana, did an excellent job of keeping Bert's busy schedule straight and keeping us informed by phone of his arrival times. Bert is truly the best drywall patchmaster around, and we are fortunate to have found him through his stellar reviews on Angie's List.

I called, they came right over and fixed it within an hour and they left.

You don't have to stand behind him and watch. He found more small places that needed repair than I could see and he did his own punch list. Thanks for the great job.

Bert should be the standard for contractors. He and his wife are pleasant, punctual, and professional. He came out and gave me a quote, it took me a month to reach back out to him. He and his wife remembered me. Bert showed up on time and completed the job swiftly. I will use him again and refer him to my friends.

Bert came out the same day I called to give me an estimate on patching some drywall where we had some water and squirrel damaged areas as well as a linen closet we wanted torn out. His estimate was a little better than the other two I got, but what I liked the most was the fact that he didn't try to oversell me on the jobs, by assuming I wanted additional services. He priced the job just the way that I asked him to do it, without adding extras. When he came out to do the work, he and his partner divided up the work, and got right to it. They were polite, respectful, considerate of my time, and cleaned up well when they were done. They were considerate of my family and pet, and the estimate was exactly what they charged, even though tearing the closet out was a little more work than anticipated. They left the drywall neat and ready for me to paint, as I had requested. I was very happy with their work, and will call them again when I need drywall and the other services they offer. Thanks!

I called Bert and set up an appointment for an estimate. He promptly returned my call an we set a time for the next day. Bert showed up at the agreed upon time and took a look at the bedroom. His estimate was reasonable ( actually my husband thought it would be more given the state of the walls) so I called and set up a time for him to come and do the repairs. He came on time and worked quickly with his helper. They did a great job and we are very pleased with the results.

Went very well. We were new to area and referred to Bert by a friend in the neighborhood. We had the popcorn ceiling removed prior to us moving in (which I highly recommend). Bert and his family did an excellent job and were able to work around our move in schedule.

The ceiling collapsed on a Saturday morning around 7AM. I consulted Angie's List to find a company specializing in drywall repairs, and called Patchmaster after reading the reviews. I described the situation and was given a very reasonable estimate over the phone. Bert came by on Monday, but we had to wait for the ceiling to dry before he could complete the job, four days later. The patch is perfect. We painted over it, and now, thanks to Bert, there is absolutely no evidence of our little "disaster"!

Bert Cooper is wonderful to work with. Of the three contractors I called, he responded within an hour or so of me leaving a message and dropped by the next day to give an estimate. He offered to break the estimate out in the event I wanted to sand the mud myself. However, I wanted him to do all of the finish work. I do a decent job of installing drywall, but I couldn't finish it well if my life depended on it. His price was very fair compared to work I've had done in the past. I have a drywall guy I use regularly, but he suddenly didn't show for the estimate and wouldn't return my calls. He's now on my hit list, and I'll continue to use PatchMaster in the future. Bert agreed to come by on July 2, but then he had a break in his schedule and was able to come by on June 28 to get started. The job would take two days. He and a helper were here for about an hour on the first day mudding and taping all of the seams. There was on particularly onerous transition at a corner where there was tile on one side and drywall on the other, but he did a great job with it. He and his helper were very quick and clean. On the second day, he arrived right when he said he would and brought his big sanding gun. He spent less than an hour sanding the seams including hand sanding. He kept the work area very clean and had taped a tarp over the bathroom door to keep the dust contained. There was, in fact, no drywall dust anywhere in the house when he was done. The finish was smooth and ready to paint. I could not have asked for better workmanship, and I will definitely be using and recommending Bert in the future. He's a man of his word!

I have worked with Patchmaster Drywall numerous times and have never been let down. With a good description of the desired work Burt will give me a price over the phone and stick with it. He always shows up at the agreed time and gets the job done in the timeframe promised. He makes sure to bring plastic sheeting to cover floors and potentially furniture from dust and finishes the jobs flawlessly. This was a smaller job he had done for me. The biggest job he has done for me in the past few years was about two thousand dollars. Here we needed all new drywall as part of a full bathroom remodel and a new ceiling in a large master bedroom. They come and go and leave a job very well done and ready for paint.

I was very please with Bert. He was really friendly and he did a fantastic job drywalling the custom closet. He show up on time and finished his work in two days. I was very please with the result and would hire him again. I move into the new bedroom and I absolutely love it!!

I had contacted Patchmaster Drywall Repair to obtain an estimate. They were very accommodating. Bert came by on a Saturday post a job. He was very professional and provided a fair estimate. He also provided some guidance on another drywall issue that we were not having him bid upon. His guidance was very helpful. Since this was a small job, I was looking for someone to do the painting as well so we went with another company. I do plan on keeping Patchmaster on file as a possible alternative.

We had 4 bathrooms renovated and found mold in one of the bathrooms on the bottom 2 inches of the drywall. Bert removed the moldy drywall, making sure he took out enough to make sure all the mold was cut out and pieced in new drywall. He plastered and patched in all 4 bathrooms. He was very professional and did a great job. He found areas that were previously done incorrectly and was able to smooth them out. One of Bert’s biggest assets is his personality. He is friendly and patient with a great sense of humor.

We just started renovating our kitchen, which included replacing our old (builder grade) fluorescent ceiling fixture with 10 recessed lights. In the process we tore down most of the kitchen ceiling because we decided to replace some plumbing lines at the same time as well. I called Bert on Friday and he told me he could be at our house around 9:00 am on Monday. Bert showed up on time, installed the new drywall and taped the joints. The next morning he was out at 8:00 am (as promised) to sand the ceiling joints and clean up. The ceiling looks nice and smooth and he cleaned up the area, even though we're still in the middle of remodeling. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and with Bert. He's definitely one of the good guys out there today.
