PATCHMASTER DRYWALL REPAIR

This is the second time I have used PatchMaster drywall repair. Bert and his team came through with flying colors once again. We are getting our home ready to sell, and I needed to repair a spot in the ceiling where my foot came through while I was in the attic (I repaired it VERY poorly at the time). I also wanted Bert to clean up a corner of the half-wall in the kitchen that had some rough damage. And finally, there was an area behind our fridge that needed some work. It never bothered me, but since we were listing the house for sale, I wanted to take care of all the issues. Bert and his helper arrived on Thursday to do the first coat in each location. Then they came back Friday morning to finish. He and his crew are always prompt, and he was even able to arrive earlier than planned on Thursday (but he called ahead to make sure it was OK). Bert's price is very fair, and I will use him again without hesitation. He's a nice guy, he's trustworthy, and he's reasonable. He also does great drywall work. What more can you ask for? I only wish I'd taken before and after photos as you can't even tell he was here the places look so perfect!

Bert called me promptly, and we set a date for the work to be completed. He and his helper erected plastic tents to controls the dust which is a problem when drywall is installed. They set to work right away, and did I great job. Both men were knowledgeable and friendly, and cleaned up when they were finished. I would use them again.

Bert was very prompt when coming to give us a quote and also on the day he repaired the drywall. He was very professional, did excellent work and left the drywall looking like there had never been a problem. We would certainly use him again and will definitely recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

Bert did a great job as previously mentioned and is very reasonable. He made sure I was satisfied with all aspects of the work and I will definitely use him again.

Other than the price, the job was way better than I expected. He matched up 30+ year old ceiling pattern perfect.

This is the second time I have used Bert Cooper. He arrived on time and gave an estimate which I thought was reasonable. I gave him an immediate okay to do the job. Bert is just the best at his craft I have ever seen. He matched the weird texture of the ceiling again perfectly. His work is very neat - he covered anything that could have been affected in his work area. I would not have found him without Angie's List - best money I ever spent.

I couldn't say nicer things about Bert and his partner's work. Although my project STILL is unpainted it is difficult to give an overall rating until I see it painted. I would throw a HEAVY CAUTION if you choose to you Bert's recommended painter JOHN EARLEY. This guy is borderline crazy and doesn't care what he says to customers. John Earley's professionalism is a solid failure and my painting is being bid out to another vendor that cares about his customers. I have never in my life been spoken to by a contractor the way John Earley. I rated Bert based on his performance and did not let my negative experience with John Earley waver my feedback. Again...don't hesitate for a moment to use Bert for drywalling but I'd suggest you find your own painter elsewhere.

After looking at the reviews for Patchmasters on Angie's List, I contacted Bert to come out and provide me with an estimate for the repairs. Bert was prompt, honest and the costs were very reasonable. He came out a few later and knocked out the job in no time. I was impressed with the professional results. He touched up the paint on the ceiling so the entire garage ceiling was the same shade of white. As far as the bedroom closet, you'd never know that there were any holes in the back wall. I highly recommend Bert. He's honest, prompt, and the workmanship is incredible! The man knows what he's doing.

I called Patchmaster and they were very responsive. Bert came out promptly, inspected the job and gave me an estimate. When he and his helper returned to do the work, they were very punctual. The work was done very professionally and the results look great. I was very satisfied with Patchmaster Drywall Repair and would not hesitate to call Bert again should the need arise. He really knows his trade.

I saw Patchmaster listed as having expertise in matching textured finishes on sheetrock. I called them on 9-18-13 and gave a description of the area that needed to be repaired. I was given an estimate range of the cost which I thought was reasonable so Bert came on 6-19-13. He was prompt, professional, friendly and ready to go to work. I thought he might have trouble matching the texture as it was slightly unusual. Also it was a tight area between an exposed ceiling beam and a wall. He got right to work and covered the surrounding area, and the results were absolutely wonderful as you might expect from the reviews on this site. He got a perfect match. My wife and I were thrilled. The final bill was at the low range of the estimate. This man is the "gold standard" for this type of work. I will be using him again since we are going to refurbish a den that needs some sheetrock repair.

Very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. All to often contractors bite off more than they can chew. These guys know exactly what they are doing, how to do it, and how it will it look when complete. Call them for ANY drywall repairs, they do it right.

The miscommunication was resolved and we have begun a preliminary conversation for future jobs. I was impressed with their follow-up.

I don't think Bert really needs one more favorable review--he is THAT good at what he does! He is so busy, but he managed to fit my smaller job in, traveling a distance from another completed job to get to me in Marietta. They were quick, remarkably clean (like, no mess at all), and the work is perfect. Thanks, Bert, for getting this work done in a timely way and with such care! Wish I could get the hang of patching like that, but I just can't get it right! Good to know someone who does.

Burt was great. I wish all my repair people could be like him. He was easy to work with. He gave a very reasonable estimate given all the patching and repairs there were to do. I thought he was excellent value for money when I saw what a very good job he was doing. Even my husband--not one given to saying much--said how good a job it was. There was a lot to do. We'd given him a page and a half punch list, and he didn't miss a thing. He even pointed out a few things we'd missed, and did those for us, too. I'm picky about these kind of repairs. My dad and grandads and others in my family were in the trades and I know enough to know what a good job should consist of. That's why I didn't want to leave it to a painter to throw some joint compound at everything. I opted for a sub who specialized in drywall repairs. Burt did it just like I'd hoped, and then some. Some of our patches were in drywall with old wallpaper still underneath the paint, for instance, and he was very careful to not disturb it. In another case, a drywall area butted up under a stone fireplace and he dealt with that very well also. He put down plastic but it almost wasn't needed as he was very tidy and didn't make much mess at all that we could tell. I have medical issues relating to dust and chemicals and he was very careful and considerate of them as he worked in our home. Couldn't be happier with his level of professional skill. And he was fast! You sometimes get fast but not great, or a good job but done slowly. Burt was fast and good both. He completed our job in the four hours he'd estimated, and that was with a few additions. Our walls are now ready for paint, and we can move on with selling our home. Thank you, Burt! Bert showed up on time and completed the drywall repair needed. He also fixed an area the previously was worked on at no additional charge because he wanted the whole ceiling to look perfect.

Bert came in and looked at both areas needing repair. After his assessment, he replaced the drywall than applied finish. The finish was very smooth. Very little sanding was required. They were very friendly and came a long way to make the repair.

Bert came out and looked over the project and gave me a written estimate as well a a coupon good for 5% off the estimated price. We set up an appoint for the following week through his office. On the scheduled day Bert arrived 10 minutes early and started covering the immediate areas with plastic dropcloths to protect the carpet and other things and then he started to work. While one patch was drying he moved on to another and repeated this until all the patches had been done. Then he went back and "touched up" any areas needing attention. He also cut me out several paint samples so I can have them matched at the paint store. Overall I am very satisfied with the results and with Patchmaster Drywall Repair and would recommend them to anyone for small jobs that other companies might not want to do.

Bert did a great job! Bert has 25 years of experience and he is worth it! Very hard working, kind and honest. And did a fantastic job with our kitchen ceiling. I would recommend highly and will use him again in the future! Bert came in the first day and spent 3-4 hours plastering the ceiling. He was very careful to cover everything with plastic and was very neat. The second day, Bert came and sanded everything down with a special sander that collects al the plaster. He answered all questions I had for him on a timely manner. I did like the detail estimate he gave me on his services. He took only very small breaks and didn"t take any personal phone calls while he was working. He also cleaned up after himself and his tools.

THE best drywall work I have ever seen!

I saw the reviews for Patchmaster and they all seemed great. Everything went just like the reviews said...we received a call back the very next day, Bert was right on-time for the estimate and teh quote was reasonable. He was right on time for the repair and the work was high-quality. We are very pleased.

Bert Cooper arrived for the estimate visit on time and was very professional. Based on his past reviews and his quoted price, we went with him to repair the damaged drywall in our kitchen (damaged due to roof leaks) and a poorly repaired drywall area in our laundry room from a prior contractor. He was able to come in 3 days after the estimate to perform the work, arrived on time and was done in about two hours. He repaired a 2 ft x 3 ft area on the wall plus a few smaller areas on the ceiling. It was very smooth when done and would definitely use him again.

Patchmaster's work that was done was completed quickly, on time, and on budget. Burt - who I believe is the owner - is terrific... a pleasant man who is always in a good mood, and somebody who is nice to have working in your home. He is conscientious and is a problem solver. You can trust this company to do excellent sheetrock repair and new sheetrock installation, take immaculate care of your house, clean up, and leave you with beautiful results.

They came out for the estimate right away and we were able to schedule within a week. The major repair was in the den where there was a sloppy repair job done in the past. They redid that section, and put more insulation up in the ceiling where the other company had removed everything. They covered all surfaces with plastic sheeting, moved the furniture as necessary and got everything done in one day. They were able to repair everything for the quoted price. We are very happy with the work.
