First of all, dealing with Kevin Bowers was an absolute pleasure. He is extremely knowledgeable about his products and able to convey that knowledge in an understandable manner. Since my house is surrounded by pine trees, my gutters would fill up with pine needles requiring cleaning twice a year. We discussed several options with pros and cons for each. After much discussion, it was determined that MasterShield Gutter Protection would be the best option to eliminate the problem of the gutters becoming plugged with pine needles and other debris. Kevin also worked with me to solve drainage problems not directly associated with the gutter installation. His work crew arrived promptly on the install date and worked diligently through inclement weather. They also, were very knowledgeable and worked in a very professional manner. Whenever they had questions, they were quick to consult with me resulting in a finished product that was exactly as desired. Upon completion of the installation, they did a very thorough job of cleaning up. I was completely satisfied with their work. To date, the gutters and MasterShield Gutter Protection have worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend Kevin Bowers and his company to anyone contemplating new gutters and gutter protection.

Went fine. Kevin was our contact point, and he came back promptly and removed a section for us since we decided to add a garage onto one side of the house. They will reattach and add gutters as needed for a very reasonable cost of only $200. I think that is great.

overall working with Kevin at MasterShield was easy and professional. He was very kind and patience throught the process. He provided several solutions and was happy to walk me thru the steps of the job. He answered all my questions and was very knowlegdable. I really appriciated him going to extra step to find a vendor to repair the work that his company doesn't handle. Most vendors wouldn't go that extra mile. He even offered a peice of advice about a rain barrel I had too close to the house. That was very kind of him. Overall I'm very happy with the work that was done. The leaks have been corrected and I would 100% use his services again. It would be worth your time to have him come out to give a quote.

To be fair, I got gutters and they seem to be installed properly. To be honest, it was weirdly run and the guy never called me back for a real long time. Then just out of the blue, I got a call from one of his people and the guy said he was on his way to my house. It was the middle of the work day and I couldn't meet him. They said they were doing custom gutters. I went over and over with the guy that I wanted custom color which he said no problem. Then this guy said, we'll just put in what we think will work best, we'll figure it out. At this point, I was desperate, I needed the gutters because it's been awhile. He put them up and they just put standard white gutters that you buy at Lowe's. There was nothing custom about them or anything. I didn't really inspect them that close but I do think that there were seams where they didn't need to be. They might have been custom length. I'm happy with the gutters. They seem to be doing what they were supposed to be doing but I was unhappy because really the only reason why I didn't do it myself was because I wanted custom cut, the whole nine yards. They kind of stand out the wrong way, they way with the colors of the house and everything. I was not real thrilled with the service from that standpoint. He called me pretty uch right away after the purchase but then I called him and he didn't call me back for a long time. He said he had a tragedy happen in the family. I wasn't going to make a fuss about that. I have bad things happen to me too. I could've thought he could've called but I have no idea how much business he's doing. One of the things that I worry about those things, they always have the disclaimer on there that it may cost more if this is needed and that's needed. He did not do any of that stuff. I was pleased with that part of it too. He did basically what he said he was going to do for the price that he said he was going to do it for.

I first met Kevin Bowers at the Atlanta Home Show in the fall of 2014. I had just bought a 30 year old house that needed some exterior work including new gutters and downspouts. It is in a very wooded area, but never had gutter protection and some damage occurred to the soffit and fascia as a result of clogged gutters and downspouts. My situation was a little different that most in that my house has what's called a Garard metal roof. This roof has gutter flashing the prevents a typical system from sliding under the first shingle or allowing a specialized gutter, such as Leafguard, from fitting up tight to the fascia. I was hoping that the roofer had a type system that commonly accompanied his roof and I would be able to simply piggyback a gutter system with him and go with a proven system. However, that was not the case as the system that the roofer proposed included a large opening screen cover that would quickly fill up. My wife and I went to the home show on two days and we visited with Kevin on both occasions. After the show, we again contacted Kevin and he came over to our house to check it out. While he was there, he installed two sample prototypes for us to observe during rainstorms to see how they performed. He followed up with a written proposal which included several options. He did not push us in any way. He responded to us and provided information and worked very h****** a solution that would not only work, but would utilize the "cleaning" effect of his product for the long term health of the system. He recognized that our roof system would present unique and difficult challenges. Kevin pointed out that two things would be of primary importance; those being to have the gutters properly positioned to actually collect the water, and secondly that the gutters would properly drain to the downspouts. These two things might seem very elementary, but with the complexity of the metal roof that I have, they were going to pose a serious challenge for the installers. After all of the other outside subcontractors competed with their work, I contacted Kevin and awarded him the job. He told me ahead of time when I could expect him and he kept to that schedule including contacting me a few days ahead of time to confirm his coming. Kevin sent two mechanics, Matt and Mike. He obviously had discussed the special conditions of the roof with them ahead of time, because they went right to work with the installation and knew exactly how to install it in order to get the collection made and keep the correct angle for the gutter covers installation. Matt and Mike worked through some sloppy weather conditions. They made very quick work of the job and their craftsmanship was excellent. Kevin was there from time to time checking in on the work. If you have a typical roof, these guys will knock it out quickly and do a great job. If you have a unique situation, Kevin will find a solution that will work and that you will be happy with. He will treat you fair, not push you at all, and he will do what he says. I totally trust Kevin and would not hesitate to recommend him and/or use him again.

They provided excellent work at relatively affordable prices. Originally, they quoted us for new gutters for probably 80% of the existing gutters and were going to "recycle" the other 20%. Upon installation the installers decided to use new gutters for the other 20% and did so without charging us any more. They did a great job and the new gutters look excellent.

We called and they came to do an estimate. The work was complicated with multiple roof lines and re-routing of downspouts to minimize their appearance. The work was scheduled and they came on that day and did the installation. It was very messy but the workmen did a high quality job and cleaned up everything (including my deck). They even removed the satellite dish and cables! You would never know they were there. Very good vendor.

Mastershield provided excellent customer service and integrity. I purchased the gutter replacement thru Angies List thinking I needed new bigger gutters to address my overflow and leaking problems. Mastershield instead fixed my problems without replacing my gutters and refunded me over 50% of my purchase price. I will absolutely use them in the future. Contractors that do not take advantage and are honest are few and far between. So glad I found them!

Work was completed the following day after I called to request the work. Installation and clean up was quick and they left no mess and hauled away the old gutters. I am very happy with how the gutters look and think they did a terrific job. I had other companies try to charge me nearly 3 times as much for this same work. The quality of the gutters is a major improvement since I had originals on my home and I received the paperwork in the mail regarding my warranty shortly after. I am confident if I have any issues with my gutters I can reach out to Kevin and have it handled immediately, though I don't foresee any since we have already had several rainstorms to test them and they worked perfect. Will definitely consider them and recommend their work for any future needs for me or my friends.

We had run into some problems with our general contractor and were on a tight time frame. We contacted Master Shield about subcontracting the gutter work. Kevin called us back promptly, gave us a quote over the phone, and arranged to complete the work following day! His crew showed up earlier than promised, completed the work in under an hour, and left the site cleaner than they found it. All in all, an exceptional experience!! We would HIGHLY recommend Master Shield and will definitely use them again when we're ready to replace the rest of the gutters.

I had new gutters installed by another company just two and a half years prior, and half of the back gutter had fallen off my house. The Master Shield/KTL rep listened patiently as I explained my dilemma, and he gave me a fantastic deal to correct the problem that was caused by another company. The KTL rep was courteous, professional, and understanding. He explained details about the installation process to help me understand how proper installation would keep the gutters attached to the house. His pricing was more than fair and my gutters look great. The Master Shield/KTL company completed the job as promised and left the work site clean. I highly recommend this dependable and professional company because they focus on customer satisfaction.

From the very first visit I really enjoyed the attention and time that Kevin gave me. He was very easy to schedule with and showed up promptly and stayed at the house and answered all my questions patiently, and that was just for the consultation! After getting another estimate, I felt very comfortable with my decision to go with Master Shield. I had a few questions before my scheduled appointment about gutter colors and Kevin responded quickly and thoroughly to my emails, which definitely helped to alleviate my concerns come installation day. On the day of install, the team called me to inform me when they were getting close and they showed up promptly and were courteous, and they got right to work. Kevin showed up a few minutes later (as I was on my way to work) and showed me the gutter we had chosen, and that completely got rid of any concerns I had. By the time I got home that afternoon, the crew had just finished up and the gutters looked great. On top of that, they replaced (and repainted!!) some of the wood rot that I had because of the previous leaky gutters. Further, I had some wood rot on a column on the front of the house (due to a broken gutter) and Kevin even replaced that spot and repainted. Then lastly, before he left, we noticed there was a old rubber piece hanging down from a satellite dish on the roof of the house (it's a 1920 house and has extra wires that aren't being used). But it was hanging down over the gutter line and looked bad, so Kevin unhooked his ladder and cut it down for me, which was so great! The house looks great and I'm very pleased with my decision and would definitely recommend. ~Marik

Kevin Bowers (owner/GM) came out to give me a quote. Kevin was very professional and I got the impression from him that they would do the job right. I collected three quotes and based on price and my interaction with the companies I decided to go with KTL. They came out on the scheduled date and installed the gutters as we agreed with no delays or issues. I don't know enough about gutters to comment on the quality of the gutters or installation, but visually they look good. My entire experience with KTL has been very positive.

KTL Home Improvement / MasterShield did a really good job. The representative explained why we were having issues and he helped come up with solutions on how to make our gutter system drain better. The small changes he recommended and implemented made a big difference. He said that if we had any more issues, like things that were not draining properly, we can contact them and they would be happy to come out to make adjustments for us.

Client repaired and replaced two separate sections of my gutters. When one area was not fixed properly, they came out for no extra cost and fixed again. This resolved issue. The provider is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, responsive and economical. I would highly recommend them for all gutter repair and/or replacement.

Kevin and team were awesome. From the esitmate process to the installation, the process was smooth and easy. Kevin was great at recommending options- after listening to my concerns that I wanted to address. His price was very fair out of two bids, and his installation team was quick, thorough and left no trace that they had ever been there. Best of all of it is that the gutter configuration Kevin recommended for my 1917 home looks great and completely fixed the issues. Would definitely use them again and reccomend them to all of my friends.

The provider was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. The process was done quickly and in a neat manner. They ran into some unexpected complications that required extra attention and material but those were handled efficiently without extra expense to me. We did have some leaking from the corners of the old gutters after the first rain but they returned promptly to take care of the problem (this was a pre-existing issue).

After the EF-1 tornado that went through in June put 6 hardwood trees on our house, one of the repairs were the gutters. The ones along the back of the house had to be completely replaced, but we needed new screens on the rest of them as well. I talked with 4 or 5 different companies, investigating their products and which one would best suit our needs. Kevin with Mastershield was one of those first companies I spoke with. After getting bids from both him and several others, I was either not getting the product I needed, or the price was higher than we could afford, given the scope of repairs we needed to do from the storm damage. I called Kevin back a second time. He was aware of the different needs regarding our gutters around the house, and when I explained that we could just not afford their product right now, he worked with me to provide what I needed on different sides of the house, and we ended up with their mesh screen on part of it, and another type of screen on the rest. And he was able to come in at a price we could afford. He basically solved all of my problems and got everything installed around the schedules of roofers, painters, landscapers, etc. I asked him to come back out to paint a metal diverter black and check on a gutter's pitch, which his installers did promptly and took care of it. Not often these days do you find a company that is honest, fair, and reliable, and I've been dealing with many due to the storm. So I felt it was important to recognize a company that provided exactly what I needed and made the experience a pleasant one.
