Description of Work: Two significant holes were left in my ceiling following a plumbing repair. Ana and Jose came out right away for an estimate to repair the holes. In the day of the repairs, they gave me a 15 minute window for their arrival and were there right on time. The work exceeded my expections and I was very happy with their professionalism and friendliness. I would definitely hire them again .

 + 0 moreAfter having such a fantastic experience the first time with Jose and Ana, I decided to have them paint the common areas in my 26 year old house. I think this was the first time that the ceiling had been painted because it is a high vaulted ceiling. Everything about the experience was great. They are punctual for all appointments and completed the job a day early. Given the large scope of work, I was impressed with their speed and even more impressed with the overall value I felt I received for the cost. As someone who has experience the work that Jose and Ana provide twice, I can firmly say that they will be back, working on my future projects.

 + 0 moreThe ceiling looks brand new. I thought the drywall would have to be cut out, but Jose patched it and put tape and you cannot notice that there was ever a hole. Fantastic. Plastic was put down throughout the kitchen area so that any dust from sanding or paint drips would fall onto the plastic. I would highly recommend Jose and Ana and would definitely use then again.

 + -1 moreIt was very easy to get a hold of Jose and set up an estimate and also set up a time for him to come and do the work. They were very punctual and efficient and clean. Would definitely use them again if needed.
Description of Work: We had several areas in the drywall that were cut due to some pluming work we had done earlier. The largest of the holes was ground level to about waist high. This hole also had pipes that were sticking outside of the wall, so he had to work around the pipes.

 + 0 moreA while back, we had a plumbing leak from behind the upstairs shower, water ran to the downstairs bedroom and bath. We had made a hole in the ceiling and another small hole in the wall to see how much damage was done and to let it air out so the drywall wouldn't get mold. Portions of the ceilings and walls were stained from the leak. The leak was fixed, everything dried out so it was time to repair the bedroom and bathroom walls and ceiling. I made an inquiry on Angie's List, Ana called me that same afternoon. I felt the price was good - I did not get another estimate (the other person I called did not call back until 3 or 4 days later). I can't say it was great since I don't have anything to compare it to, but I believe it was fair. The important thing is that they did the job well and in a timely manner. Very happy with the work performed. We supplied the paints, they took care of the rest. When they finished everything was cleaned up. Jose and Ana are very nice people, professional and detail oriented. They were prompt, neat, cheerful and courteous. Would definitely recommend them.

 + 0 moreI am a REPEAT CUSTOMER for Ana and Jose! They did such a great job last month, that I hired them again! I had some drywall repair work, plus the entire house needed to be touched up and painted. The job was at my personal residence and because of a relocation across the country, I was preparing the home for a tenant. They estimated the work while I was packing for the move and the work was to be completed after my departure, so I left a key with Ana and Jose. According to my neighbor, Jose and Ana showed up and completed the work as agreed. Ana was in communication with me via text when they needed to purchase additional paint. When the work was completed, my neighbor/friend inspected the job, paid them, and the key was returned. I am VERY SATISFIED with Ana and Jose and would definitely recommend them! The next time my home needs to be painted, Jose and Ana are my "go to" painters! I am grateful to have found such quality people who do quality work!

 + 1 moreJose and Ana were extremely professional - picked up the phone when I called them originally, scheduled to see my home 2 days later and when I called with 2 separate questions the next day - Ana got back to me promptly when she said she would. Jose and Ana arrived promptly on time when they said they would start the job. Right away they started laying down tarp and covered from the garage to the kitchen to the laundry room, up the stairs to the masterbath. then they also had sheeting and blue tape to protect the areas that were not going to be painted. They took particular care to cover my brand new frameless shower glass that I had just gotten installed 2 days earlier. I''ve had various painters over the years and mainly larger companies with crews and i will tell you that I have not had any painters as close to Jose and Ana in terms of their care to ensure a clean job and to cover and prep! They were extremely pleasant to work with and both my wife and I were very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend that you contact Jose and Ana for your painting, drywall or molding repair needs!
Description of Work: I needed a combination of drywall repair, light painting and door trim and base molding prep for 3 areas of my home: masterbath, laundry room and garage ceiling. I have just gone through expensive remodeling tile/shower work of my master bath and was on a tight budget so I was very specific about what I wanted done. Consequently I had contacted 4 other Angieslist painters, handymen and drywall and 1 top rated Kudzu painter. The other Angieslist painters and handymen were much too expensive or took a while for them to get back to me 2-3 days. I had 2 come out for a quote plus Jose and Ana and had emailed specific pictures, measurements of the drywall etc. to the other service providers. When I called Jose and Ana, Ana picked up the phone right away and we arranged for a time to meet within 2 days. Jose and Ana arrived on time and were very thorough, did not seem to be in a rush like the other services, took time to listen and take notes as I explained exactly what I needed and they offered feedback as we went to each of the rooms. They were very professional, very prompt and answered on my questions. The following services were completed in a top notch quality manner, and at a very reasonable price: 1) Masterbath - drywall repair in various places and as part of a bathroom remodel - previously had area near shower that had gotten rotten from leaky shower; area along walls of 2 vanities had drywall damage when the old countertops were removed were ripped or damaged and had left over caulkiing; holes in drywall from old bathroom lights 3 doorwall trims had dings/chips/dents - 2) Laundry room ceiling had naiil puffs, water stains and peeling paint near AC vent 3) Garage had huge 2.5' x 3.5' hole in ceiling from leak from mastershower drain and plumber who cut a hole for access and kitchen door to garage had numerous chips/dents in the trim. I have done drywall in the past and no my limitations, I can do ok repairs on a wall, and I am a perfectionist and wanted a professional to do the repairs since we will be selling our home in the near future. Jose did an absolutely amazing job with all the drywall and I have a very good eye for detail. All the areas in the 3 rooms were repaired extremely well and very professionally. I had also asked for the master bath walls to be painted as well as the ceiling in the toilet room-and the laundry room - these all came out perfect!! I would highly recommend that if you need painting and/or drywall repair or trim repair that you do yourself a favor and contact Jose and Ana!!

 + 0 moreAbsolutely the BEST of the BEST! Ana and Jose was one of three estimates. When they came to do the estimate, Ana explained everything that was going to be done which I found refreshing. The other companies just came in, measured and then emailed the quote. There wasn't a lot of explanation. My basement was a mess with old textured walls, some flood damage from the past and trim than needed removing. I told them I was going to be reusing the trim in another way and they were careful about removing it and stacking neatly out of the way. They made the walls look brand new and the paint is incredible. They left everything neat and clean when they were done. The entire job took 2 days and it looks FANTASTIC! Ana was communicating with me throughout the process. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and the outcome of the project. I will definitely be using them in future and will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

 + -1 moreFANTASTIC! FANTASTIC! FANTASTIC! I can't say enough good things about the work that Jose, Ana and team performed for us. I do a lot of renovation work myself, but try to hire professionals for things which I am not that proficient and/or I don't have the time to do. Over the years I have learned that finishing drywall is well worth the cost for professionals and was looking for a good company locally, having recently moved from out of state. After reading the reviews on Angie's List, I decided to call Jose and Ana. The same day i contacted them, they stopped by for an estimate, which seemed reasonable. The day the work started, I was supposed to have all of the drywall hung and they were supposed to start finishing. Well.... I had a really bad week and was only able to hang about 1/3 of the drywall and the worksite was still a mess. After a brief reevaluation and updated estimated, they completed the drywall hanging and started finishing. They worked over the weekend and completed the job according to schedule. Throughout the entire experience, they were professional, clean, and considerate of the rest of the house. Ensuring that holes for access panels were left for shut-offs, and turning all the little bits and pieces of a renovation into a smooth finished product in less than 3 days! I am working on a project in the basement and will definitely be calling Jose and Ana back to finish the basement. I am so thrilled with their work that I would be happy to show anyone interested the before and after pictures and/or tour the rooms they finished for us.

They came back on the day I asked (after electrical was finished) and performed the work. I found both their work and attitude to be completely professional. I was extremely pleased with their work ethic and how they presented themselves. They were able to do the work extremely quickly, faster than I expected at a high quality. I would gladly use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs drywall work done.
Description of Work: Ana and Jose installed drywall on both sides of new stud wall (approx 22' x 11') in my garage that I had framed to separate the garage bays from each other. They also patched several spots that were cut open in existing drywall from the electrical work.

 + -1 moreDuration of the time that they did the work was so impressive for the fact that they found duct vent from the drier enclosed in the ceiling that should have been let outside which could have been very hazardous in causing the fire, so they ended up repairing that as well and routing that venting to the outside. I would recommend them to my friends and family. The quality was superb. They actually came in and assessed the situation and instead of the small area that I thought was the only problem we had, they realized that the whole ceiling needs to be replaced and they showed me that. They replaced it quality material like what was up originally.

Description of Work: There was a hole in the bedroom wall. Even though it was a small job, these guys were prompt in coming down to take a look, very clear on what the charges were to for different levels of the job (only repair, repair and paint etc.) and never gave the impression of not showing enough interest given that this was a small job. Recently we had some drywall mishaps while having 4 bathrooms re-done and I wasn't sure how the drywall could be fixed without it being noticeable. One hole went right through to the next room. Ana and Jose were kind enough to fit us in and do a perfect job. You would never know that there were big gaping holes in our walls. Not only is their work top-notch, they are the nicest people to work with. I highly recommend them if you want the job done right.

They scheduled the work for Wed and they completed the work in one day! They did a great job... the ceiling and repaired areas look brand new and they left the work area so clean. I will definitely use them for some other work I need done at another property.
Description of Work: I needed to have the texture removed from the ceiling for the entire main floor of a condo unit and have a large area of ceiling removed and replaced due to water damage. Also had to have drywall installed in an area that had been removed to repair the stairs.
