Drywall Repair & Interior Painting

Ana and Jose's guys did sheetrock finishing and painting on a previously unfinished basement space, where I, the weekend warrior, had hung the sheet rock and did the finish carpentry. As they were dealing with an amateur's work rather than a professional, they did a very nice job of fixing my sometimes marginal craftsmanship. They communicated routinely by email and were very responsive to my initial inquiry to submit a bid on the job. Their guys showed up when they said they would, and the job was finished in the timeframe promised. No surprises here, just a solid, clean job. Would use them again without hesitation.

I actually started by calling a different highly rated company from Angie's list but after 2-3 days without a call back I decided to give this company a try. I immediately got a hold of someone (I forgot her name, unfortunately) and we were able to schedule a time for them to come out and give me an estimate. A few days after my call they came out (I needed to give the water time to dry) and gave my wife an estimate for the work and were able to get started that day. The work took a few hours and actually ended up costing about $50 less than the original quote. It now looks as good as new, cannot tell there was ever a hole or damage there.

I emailed this company late in the evening. Within 30 minutes Ana called back with an estimate and said they could do the job within 2 days. They showed up on time, were extremely professional and nice and fully cleaned up when finished. I would use them again and will refer them to my neighbors! Thank you!

I would highly recommend Ana and Jose to work on your home. They arrived on time each time they came to my home. They gave me a very fair quote for the work I needed done and the work they performed was perfection. I had some recessed lights installed in my living room and kitchen but the electrician that installed them did not match the stippling in my ceiling properly. I called Ana and we scheduled an appointment for a quote. Ana and Jose arrived very promptly and gave me an excellent price for the work. They are very pleasant and have a wonderful demeanor. We scheduled for the work to be done a few days later. I work overnight and sleep during the day so I personally did not see them on day the arrived to do the work. I heard them arrive on time and was asleep after that. They were very quiet and did not disturb me at all. By the time I woke up they were done and gone. I walked downstairs and saw perfection. My walls were perfectly smooth, my ceiling stippling was repaired and matched and they even patched a couple of small holes in my living room and bedroom for no additional charge. I will definitely be using them again for future projects. I don't think I have had a better experience with a contractor.

Anna and Jose came out the next day after I had called them and gave me an estimate. They said would take two days to complete whole job. We set a start date and they showed up when they said they would. They covered everything that was in room. We had moved some furniture out as they were going to paint walls and we had also ordered a new sofa. We wanted a very special color so we provided the paint to them. I also worked for a home improvement store so got a discount. The living room ceiling was tackled first.. They removed all the stipple and patched every crack and wrinkle. The ceiling was flat and painted with ceiling paint. The walls were also painted and all the trim, My living room looks spectacular and I would use them when ever i need such work done. They also repaired the ceiling in the hallway and the bump is gone.

Called Jose and Anna and they came out immediately to provide a quote. They also fixed some water damage in the family room. They were punctual for the appointment. They covered all the furniture and the finished job was perfect. Don't know how they did it, but you can't see any trace of a hole in the ceiling and our family room looks brand new. Highly recommend.

I have hung and finished my share of drywall in my life (3 whole house remodels) but when my husband and I decided to finish the basement of our new cabin, for the first time ever, we decided not to do the work ourselves. I checked out Angie's List and carefully read all the reviews of the various companies. When I read the reviews for Jose and Ana, I thought.....and quot;these are the people I want to do the work!and quot; From the very first phone call, to the prompt follow up, to the quick scheduling of the work.....they were wonderful!!! In no time at all the drywall was up and finished, and they were no sooner out of the driveway and we were painting it. (I would have written this review soooner, but we were so excited being able to paint and finish the basement over the weekend!!) I can't say enough good things. It was a great experience. First class operation and first class people.

This group was extremely professional and demonstrated the highest level of customer service. Prior to brushing on one drop of paint all walls were sanded and small dents, holes and abrasions corrected......very impressive! Attention to detail and care was given as expected.

My husband and I are renovating the garage into an in-law suite for my elderly mother. My husband designed the ceiling for different heights to define the different spaces in the suite. The suite contains a living room, kitchen, vanity area, and bathroom. My husband invited different drywall contractors to look at the space and give estimates. Jose was the only contractor to closely examine the walls and ceiling of the space and observed some inconsistencies in the original plaster ceiling. Jose said that he could fix the problem, and he did. My husband was immediately impressed with Jose and Anna's team approach to the various problems and construction issues, and selected them to perform all of the sheetrock installation. Although the job involved only 420 square feet, it nevertheless was quite complex and required close attention to detail. They completed the work in approximately three days and the final result is stunning. We highly recommend Jose and Anna as a first-rate team to everyone who wants an excellent drywall outcome. In addition, we also asked them to make needed repairs to the upstairs level of our home, which they completed quickly and with outstanding results. We are also going to schedule further restoration to our own plaster ceilings. To sum it all up, this was an enjoyable experience. Jose and Anna are great people. They and their crew do great work.

I have used them before and will definitely use them again. Jose is meticulous about his work. I have used other painting companies in the past and they left drips or missed spots. Jose and his team always do a complete and fabulous job. I recommend them to anyone and will always call them first when I have a painting or drywall project. This is my second time using Jose' and Anna. First time though for drywall repair. The were prompt, coming on the day we agreed to, and ready for work. They immediately started covering all furniture, walls and carpeting. I've never had anyone do that before. It was great!! They did an excellent job of repairing the ceiling and matching the stippling! You cannot tell there had ever been a leak, or hole in the ceiling. I would definitely use them again for drywall repair! They sprayed the paint on, which was a bit messy at first, but nothing was left on the walls or carpet. Once again, Jose' missed some of the edge detail when painting, but overall it was a great repair job.

I called for an estimate, and Anna called back within 24hrs. The estimate was a bit pricy, but Jose' was willing to paint over the walls with wallpaper, as I had primed the walls myself. He agreed to caulk the baseboards and chairrailing. They were promp, arriving ready to work. They did work all day, with only a break at lunch. He decided I should not caulk the chairrailing...it was the style. He caulked only some of the baseboards, which to me left them a bit unfinished. The only thing that I think they need to work on is the edge detail work- the paint looked great, but at the chairrailing and baseboards, you could see the white primer in some places. Some places were where I'd gotten primer on the woodwork, but many places just needed touch ups. The price was to include caulking,and he only did spot caulking. They are a very nice couple and liked them alot, but for the price, I expected a bit more professional job.

Another great job! Always very professional and neat. Took care to protect our house from the mess and completed the job in 2 days. Always arrived on time and kept me informed of any issues as they arose.

There is not one adverse comment that can be said. Jose and team were prompt, professional, efficient, and thorough from start to finish. Their price might be slightly higher than someone else but one gets what they pay for and this job was completed wonderfully! I did not shop around for this project but simply went ahead based on reviews from Jose's customers and am thrilled with the results. If in the future I needed their services again, I would not hesitate to call them.

Would certainly use them again. Jose and Ana did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. They were professional, prompt and a pleasure to do business with. When Jose and Ana arrived the started to clear the room of furniture. Then they began taping drop cloths and barriers in the room so no paint would get on the floor, any remaining furniture or the walls. Jose would work on one level and then let it dry and start work on the second level. He was very busy the whole day. Ana did an excellent job of cleaning up the job site. They were able to finish both rooms in one day like promised. The rooms look like new again. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job in repairing all the damaged places and making it look really nice and painting where necessary. They provided a comprehensive list of everything they would do and at different price points depending on what I wanted fixed. They provided a free estimate. They showed up on time. When the job was done they probably fixed about 8-10 specific issues. There were two very small issues I had with the work where you could still see the tape at the bottom of one side of one wall and a small painting issue where I could still see a small amount of plaster coming through the paint. I told them about this and they showed up the very next week and fixed everything perfectly. I highly recommend their work.

We called Ana on Tuesday morning; she picked right away and was able to schedule an estimate for that afternoon. Their estimate was reasonable and informative. They took the time to educate us about what would best fit our needs. We were pleased to find that they could do the work in just one day and would be able to come out in the same week. On the day of the job, they arrived promptly and were very professional in setting up and making sure to protect our belongings, going so far as to block off areas that weren't being painted to protect them from any debris. True to their word, they finished the job by early evening, including going beyond the job description to clean and paint other problem areas they found (always discussing additional work with us prior to doing it). Both Jose and Ana were very personable and friendly and we were very comfortable in our home. We would definitely go back to them for future work.

I really don't know where to even start with these two. They're about as brilliant, respectable and professional as one can hope will show up at their door. It all started when I was walking to the bathroom of our and quot;newand quot; house late at night and felt a drip of water hit my shoulder. I immediately thought about the AC unit which was in the attic right above my head. The drain had backed up and had dropped so much water on the ceiling that the drywall had started to crumble and allow water to hit the floor beneath. After researching on Angie's List, I had 3 different contractors come over for quotes to repair the ceiling. Jose and Anna showed up within a couple hours of my call. Their quote was a bit less than the others but I chose them because you can tell they're genuine people who will do the job right or not do it at all. They fixed the ceiling in a half day as they had to cut out and replace a 4' X 8' section. The ceiling looks better than before! I had to run out for work and the wife asked them to patch a few other holes that needed repair. They did all of that at no extra charge! I then decided to take on a wallpaper removal project. Given the wallpaper had been there for probably 30 years, the walls looked terrible afterwards. I didn't hesitate to call Jose and Anna to come over and help me out. Not only did they repair the walls to looking new again, I also had them remove some terrible old moulding in the foyer and touch up the walls behind it. I then had them remove some wainscotting in the half bath and repair those walls as well. After removing the wainscotting, they realized there was a water leak that had been slowly dripping for quite some time behind the bathroom wall (thanks sellers!). Thank God we removed the wainscotting or we would have never seen it! This was after they were nearly all done for the day (5pm and cleaning up) when my wife was taking a shower upstairs. After they pointed it out, Jose helped me troubleshoot the leak and pinpointed the problem. He then removed a small patch of drywall and repaired the leak for me!!! Did I mention they were already done with the original scope of work? I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to have met these two. If you're in doubt, just call them over for the estimate and you'll see what I mean. Thanks again Jose and Ana!

Jose and Ana did everything that they said they would do, and more. They were prompt and courteous and very knowledgeable about all aspects of their work. They cleaned everything thoroughly after their work. Excellent craftsmanship.

These folks came over, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. They came back on the agreed upon date and fixed my ceilings BEAUTIFUL!!! I had a stipple ceiling from the late 80and quot;s. Jose is an and quot;artistand quot; and matched my ceiling perfectly. My wife and I are thrilled. I had similar, yet smaller issues with my ceiling in the garage. Again, beautiful work. They came in put plastic or drop cloths down to protect floors and cabinets and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely call them back if I needed any other work done. PS. My next door neighbor came over to see the work and also said they did a great job.
