I intentionally waited several months to ensure that the work would hold up to repeated use. The service provided was excellent. Leveled area and poured to fit into natural landscaping and slope. Also built in a natural sloping curb along one curved side and a hard stop, full curb along the front edge (to reduce risk of driving off). The crew was punctual, polite and professional. Performed exact services quoted for the quoted price. Due to the natural grade and slope, the pad is actually much thicker than 4 inches everywhere except at the highest point (where it is 4"). At it's thickest point, it's 17" thick. It has been 8 months since the addition and it still looks like new. No cracks or settling issues. We've been parking two vehicles (small truck and SUV) on the expansion, so it's been put to the test. Driveways R' Us were also about half the price of some of the competitors that quoted us the same, identical job. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them again if I require additional concrete services.

Paul and his team worked with me from the beginning to end of my project. Paul came out and we reviewed my project and he explained how he would design the layout and the advantages to insure my satisfaction. We reviewed his website which had several pictures that corresponded generally with what I envisioned. This aspect was very important since seeing generally what the finished project would look like was very advantageous. Paul scheduled the work and handled the survey with the utilities as well. He and his crew arrived as scheduled and worked without delay prepping the site for the pouring. I liked that Paul was on-site for this part of the job to insure that the layout was correct. The crew arrived the next day on time and began the pouring process. His crew worked quickly, but not rushed and took great pride in making sure the finished product was correct. I watched the process and they had no issues with me asking questions as they proceeded. The final day, they put the retaining wall finishing touches on and allowed my wife and I to review as they provided us a couple of different aspects to the wall. Great consideration was made in making sure we were happy with the job before they finalized the wall. After setting the wall in place, they cleaned up, removed their construction materials and did a complete walk around to verify my landscape was clean of any debris. Paul came by and did a review of the job with me and was genuinely interested in my thoughts on the job. We could not be more impressed with Paul and his team's detail oriented approach and concern for our happiness with the project. We would not hesitate to refer Paul to our friends and neighbors.

Great. Professional and did exactly what I had asked them to do. They also did a parking pad for me last month. Their quotes are very reasonable. They clean up and leave your yard as clean as when they arrived. I would recommend using them.

Paul Mabry's crew had 3 different scopes of work which covered 7 total days. The crew arrived on time and were very professional. The work in the backyard involved digging out several feet of dirt by hand under the existing deck to level the area for a patio. Erosion was causing the dirt to be uneven and unusable. Once the 4' retaining wall was built, dirt and drainage stone was hauled into the area with wheelbarrows and shoveled into place. Instead of the normal crushed stone footer for the wall, Paul used concrete as the footer and in the stone blocks to make a more solid structure. The patio was poured using wheelbarrows to cart the cement into the area. The crew performed very strenuous labor over the 4 days in the backyard quickly and with a very high level of professionalism. The patio and walls turned out beautiful! In addition, Paul added a sidewalk from the patio to the gate along with drainage pipe for the gutter which was run underground. A small retaining wall was built along the sidewalk for additional aesthetics. This work was not part of the scope but performed due to extra material available. The driveway project took 3 total days and included the demo of the old concrete driveway and the timber builders timber retaining wall that did not have proper drainage and was causing dirt to seep out onto the drive. A new stone retaining wall with proper drainage was built along with a new concrete driveway with additional parking added to the side of the garage. The crew arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently to finish the project on time. This crew was outstanding and definitely knew what they were doing! Paul was very patient with us as we worked through the final plan decisions. He answered all our questions, came to the site daily, made changes as we requested, and was a pleasure to work with during the process. One of the reasons we chose Driveways R'Us was the amount of time they have been in business and it definitely was worth every penny spent! We will definitely use this company again for our hardscape and concrete work.

We have had many concrete companies quote us for this job and did not know who to go with. We did not trust reviews on the internet until we joined Angie's List. The ratings of Driveway R Us, their price and the closeness of the company to our home convinced us this was the company to pick to do the job. And we did not make a mistake in picking them. Scott made the whole experience pleasant and painless beginning with his proposal and I can not say enough about the whole crew working for this company. They began the job by tearing out everything and installing forms for the concrete pour which was begun on the 2nd day. The whole job was completed that day. Everything ran like clockwork. We noticed that every member of the crew knew what was expected of him and performed his task with only minor supervision if any at all. They all seemed to enjoy their work which is reflected in the excellent final product. The only disappointment we have is that we were so pleased with the whole experience that we asked them for a sign for our front yard to advertise their company to our neighbors and strangers driving by. They did not deliver on this request. We hope they correct this oversight on future jobs. We have no reservations in recommending them to anyone.

Job took 2.5 days and went very well. The owner performed the estimate himself, along with the demolition on Day 1. His crew was prompt, courteous and professional and they treated our property with care and respect. Any time they had questions they asked to make sure it would be exactly what we wanted, especially in the areas where they were adding new concrete beyond the original footprint. They asked us how the rainwater flows and made sure they sloped the new concrete to direct the water. It has made a huge difference this summer as there has been so much heavy rain. We would definitely use them again.

I read the good reviews on Angies List. I call and spoke to a lady ; she took my name , address,phone number and said someone would be in touch shortly. Never heard another word from Driveways R Us.

Mr. Mabry did a wonderful job . The work was done on the day promised and the quality of the work is great , I would highly recommend this company.

Last week I scheduled a date for someone from Driveways R Us to come out to give me an estimate for a driveway replacement. I took the afternoon off from work to meet with the person scheduled to come out. 1 1/2 hours before the scheduled meeting I got a call telling me that they needed to reschedule the appointment for two days later. I told them I wouldn't reschedule. I won't do business with a company that doesn't have enough respect for their customers to keep their appointment dates as it's a clear warning that they're not going to be reliable. There are a lot of driveway\concrete companies that want the work. I won't contact Driveways R Us again for any work.

In summary, the experience with had with Driveways R Us was superb! I had originally contacted 3 driveway replacement companies last spring. At that time, I wasn't immediately ready for the replacement, however it was very clear from all the work being done to our yard and the condition of the existing driveway that we were serious customers. All three major companies did show up to give an estimate. I'll note also that all three are listed on Angie's List, with varying degrees of reviews. One company submitted a written quote which I appreciated. The other two -- not a word. I'm not sure why I was not deemed important enough to warrant a quote, but I never got one. Thus, those two were eliminated from consideration. Fast forward to this past fall. I contacted the original company, who did give us a quote, that we would soon be ready for our driveway. Please come by and review the work needed so a new quote could be worked up. I didn't think this was too much to ask considering the company was installing a new driveway in the same neighborhood. I spoke directly with the owner of the company who was managing the project onsite. Nothing! About a month later, a message was left on my phone asking how things are going and when would I like the work done. To me, I feel that I am the customer and I should not have to beg for a response from these people. If you don't want the work, tell me up front. Don't wait until you have a gap in your schedule to respond back to me. Anyway, I say all that because what Driveways R Us offered was the polar opposite. After reading the reviews in Angie's List, I called them up and spoke with Timothy. Tim was professional from the get-go. He was prompt with the appointment time. While reviewing all the work that I wanted done, he was right there with me. Meaning, he was listening to what I wanted. He offered ideas, agreed to what could be done, and hinted at potential problems. I felt that we were on the same page with this project and I felt very positive about what I'd seen thus far. However, I still felt that another quote was needed considering that really, I'd only had one other quote from almost a year ago. So I called up another reputable company from Angie's List. They were prompt with their appointment, however a second meeting was needed to have their engineer review it. That was fine by me. But it wasn't long afterwards that I just didn't have the same level of comfort as I did with Tim. So, I quickly decided that no more quotes were needed. Work commenced exactly when I needed it to. They didn't push it out for weeks. And when it started, they worked nonstop until it was done. The project took 4 days. I was very impressed with the dedication that the owner (Paul) had in getting this job done. Either he or his foreman were pushing hard to get this project done. It wasn't rushed, it was just hard work done efficiently. I was utterly amazed they were able to build the retaining wall in the time that they did. And it was built very well, in my opinion. I feel confident that years from now, it will be solidly in place without shifting and settling. The finish work on the driveway was excellent too. They did exactly what I asked in terms of drainage, edging, and design. I could not be happier with the overall look of driveway. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this company. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll be very pleased. I'm sure of it.

These people are simply the best. Everyone showed up on time and did a wonderful job of replacing my concrete driveway. I got 5 quotes before going with Driveways R Us. Paul's quote was excellent. Paul knows his business and also corrected a drainage problem I had with the old driveway. My driveway is head and shoulders above ANY driveway in our neighborhood. It went great. Love the new driveway and patio. They did a good job of "banking" the drive so that rainwater no longer went onto the patio. They really listened and made a nice ramp from drive to patio.

This company actually did a driveway project for me in april of 2011 and when I decided to put in the walls we had seen their sign that they did this type of work also. We called, the next day we got a quote. We decided to take on the project of the walls using our original steps. They arrived each day promptly at 7:30 and worked until dark. They cleaned my driveway every day after work. If Paul, Owner, felt that they might not be able to come the next day because of the possibility of rain he informed me the day before.The workers were all so nice and polite that I prepared a coffee station every day for them while they were here. The wall was so well done it made the original steps look terrible so we added another contract for new steps. Before we had a sloping hill at the end of our driveway that even ivy did not hold the dirt. Now I have 3 beautiful level garden areas to plant vegetables and flowers. I can't wait for spring!

When I called and left a message on the contractor's cell, he called me back the next day. We did have to schedule around a contractor's exam that he was taking - that was the only inconvenience. The work was done in two days. First they tore up the ground with a bobcat and then carted it out in wheelbarrows. On the second day the concrete was framed out and poured. They put cones at the top of the driveway (the next week, the cones were removed.) The first time it rained I ran out and stood in the rain delighting in the way the water flowed away from the house instead of turning onto the patio. I was so excited to purchase patio furniture!

It was a great experience. The estimator was right on time, gave a clear and concise estimate and scheduled the service to be very conveinent to me.

They did an excellent job! They arrived when they said they would and took care of everything.

They did everything in about 9 days. The work was excellent. Their responsiveness was absolutely fantastic. They were out immediately when I called Paul and told him that I had a problem. I would definitely use their services in the future too since Paul is a great guy. He also recommended me a landscaping contractor.

In one day, Driveways R Us changed the water flow direction, extended our water spout and ran it under the little sidewalk that ran from driveway to patio and gave us a new, flat patio. Next time it rained we literally stood in the ran with smiles on our face as we watched the water re-direct away from the house. Now I sit on that patio every weekend. Contractor and workmen were pleasant. Good job!

Quality of work was excellent. Pre-work estimate was very accurate. Very punctual with work performance and accommodated curing time to occur while we were on vacation. A few minor flaws were fixed promptly. Cost of work was somewhat pricey.

The sales rep courteously explained the estimate and process. Work was scheduled for the following week and completed in 2 days. The results were just what I wanted.

I was pleased with the work that Driveways R Us performed. They did an outstanding job. I would recommend them to anyone. They only thing I can say that is negative is that the price was a little steep, but they did do a very large driveway.
