 + -1 moreThey were very easy to deal with and they did a great job installing the carpet. The only problem we had was there was a language barrier with the installers. We have no complaints about the work, though.
Description of Work: We bought 1500 square feet of carpet there and they installed it.

 + 0 moreThe time table was kept. The salesman, Richard, came to the house when he said and measured the rooms and quoted the job. He advised the customary practices of the installers and that seemed to hold up. We did a lot of preparation for their coming, removing dishes, knick-knacks, all the books from all the bookshelves, breakables of all sorts, so their work was to move the big, bulky things and they did that swiftly. There was squeak abatement that I wanted done that was difficult to perform. The crew didn't want to put in screws to stop squeaks, they left it to me and didn't seem too willing to allow me to do it. No support for that essential activity but it was completed by me with deck screws and portable (battery) screw driver. The price for the carpet seemed fair but no greatly discounted deal. I can live with that, a win-win.
Description of Work: We purchased and installed 152 square yards of carpet. The carpet was a heavy nap, nylon with a Stainmaster Ultra-Life warranty, blond in color. It arrived on time and was delivered on the date that it was promised. The installation crew moved all the furniture and stripped the old carpet and removed it from the house in about two and a half hours. We were charged $50 for moving a piano. Considering what was involved, this was an unnecessary charge. The crew has Hispanic and there was a communication problem. They worked hard and completed the job, including clean-up in less than eight hours. I told Richard that if they didn't allow for squeak abatement, it was a deal breaker. The floor issues need to be corrected between carpet off and carpet on.
