Jim was great, he took care of business. The installers were polite, but not wholly professional, that's why I gave a B. Needed more guidance on buying the right materials to avoid extra expenses and hassle. Overall did what was expected and when there was not sufficient adhesive in an area of the floor, they came back to inject additional adhesive into the area. It appears that it worked.

This project went very well. This is the third time I've used Concept Flooring-2 times in Roswell, this last time in Decatur Ga. My wife and I moved to 17 year old Townhome in Decatur, Ga; the carpet was worn and discolored and needed replacement. I was surprised to call Anthony(our previous project manager)and find that Concept Flooring did installations within the perimeter of Atlanta since the company is situated in Woodstock. The project involved the removal of 2 floors of worn carpet and replacing with 2 different carpets. Solomon and his installation crew worked 10 hours to finish the project as the next day was forecasted to rain heavily. They were extremely efficient and clean. Even though Anthony's wife went into labor the day before the project, Anthony made sure I had a contact person as well as calling me for follow up to make sure everything went smoothly-now that is customer service. This is a wonderful company with genuinely nice and decent owners and a staff that is instilled with great customer service.

Make sure to ask for Jim when you call Concept Flooring. He is an OUTSTANDING project manager who personally ensures everything gets done on time with the utmost professionalism. Exceptional customer service and communication throughout the process. Jim and Concept go the extra mile to make sure you're happy.

The job was beautifully done within two days. It was amazing! We are strongly recommending them for their honesty, quality work and professional services. Their cost is very fair too! We will hire them again if any future need comes out!

BAD EXPERIENCE We received estimates from 3 highly recommended hardwood floor refinishing companies on Angie’s List to replace flooring damaged by a water leak and to refinish all the hardwood flooring on that level. We selected Concept Flooring because they advertised on their website the Atomic Dust Containment System (95% Dustless Sanding) which we wanted due to allergies and of course dust. The Concept Representative we met with assured us that is what would be used. The Quote he provided us stated “Vacuum system to eliminate 95% of dust”. The day the work began the crew brought in their own sander with a canvas bag attached – no vacuum containment system. When the Concept Representative later arrived, we said this does not look like the sander you advertise and told us would be used . He responded, “we have 7 jobs this week and those things don't work anyway”. We were shocked. We have a 3-level townhome and the work done was on the middle level. We had wood dust from the sanding on both the upper and lower levels. Also, our HVAC ducts were filled with wood dust and the filters on our main level HVAC System had to be changed daily for 4 days. When the Concept Representative informed us the work was completed, the refinished hardwood floors turned over to us were terrible. The wood surface was rough, dirty and there were beads of polyurethane (poly beads) along the seams of the hardwood. Approximately 2 weeks after initially starting the project, Concept Flooring sent a second crew back to “buff” and apply another coat of polyurethane to our floors. Today, our 13-year-old hardwoods that were not refinished look much better than our refinished floors. Some things which Concept did which disturbed us are: (1) Since we were going to be staying at a hotel during the refinishing process, the Concept Representative told us he will place a Lock-Box on our front door so the crew would have access to our home. Several days after starting the project we found no Lock-Box and our house key under the front door mat. We were extremely upset (2) When we showed the Concept Representative the amount of wood dust in our HVAC ducts, he agreed to have the ducts cleaned, a promise one of the owners later refused to do. (3) We found that one of the existing hardwood floor boards, adjacent to where the replacement flooring had been installed, had been cracked. We asked Concept to replace this board and they said they could not guarantee that the replacement would match the rest of the surrounding floor they had just refinished? Against better judgement, we decided to leave the cracked board in place and have them fill the crack based on their “would not match” statement. The issue we have with this is that when we moved into our new townhome 13 plus years ago, we found a defective board in our floor which the builder immediately replaced. A perfect match, so we know it can be done. We feel Concept just did not want to be bothered to do the work necessary to replace the cracked board. (4) The damaged baseboard they replaced were very poorly installed and had to be reinstalled. (5) Because of the job that was initially done, no one truly knows how many coats of polyurethane were applied. The newly refinished floors are dull and when an owner came out, we asked him if another coat could be applied. He refused. We are not happy with our experience with Concept Flooring and cannot recommend them.

Jim arrived on time with samples. He took measurements and made recommendations. I followed up with Big Box stores -I didn’t receive the same attention to detail and felt lost in sea of carpet and prices. I ended up calling Jim and so glad I did. John installed our carpet and did excellent job. Appreciated the attention to detail and customer service from Concept.

If you need flooring, this is the company you need to use. We had flood damage in our home and Concept came to our rescue. I have dealt with many contractors over the years, and my experience with Concept flooring was the best ever. They were professional, prompt , and very competitively priced! I never write reviews but this experience went so well, I felt I needed to share!!!!

Our experience from start to finish was easy and seamless. We were well informed about what to expect throughout the process and yet our expectations were exceeded.

Concept Flooring took up the old flooring and installed new laminate floors. They did the labor only but did pick up the flooring where we had purchased it and also disposed of the old floor. They did a great job and we would hire them again.

These guys were great and very helpful. At the end of the day I did not go with because they did not have the carpet style/brand that I fell in love with. I will be calling them back once I get around to fixing/updating my wood floors.

Jeff contacted me, and I gave him the background. He arranged to meet quickly and brought a good selection of samples. I needed to match an existing carpet that had been discontinued. We went through several options and found a good match. Jeff confirmed the selection was in stock and scheduled the installation for two days later. The crew arrived slightly earlier than scheduled (which worked fine for us) and did a great job. I would highly recommend Concept Flooring. (The only reason I gave a B on price is because I received a lower price from “a big box store.” However I couldn’t risk all the bureaucracy involved causing me to miss my deadline. )

Dave Jones and Concept Flooring did an outstanding job. They provided us with a workable schedule and started and completed the work as planned. There were no surprises and the workmanship was top level.

The project went extremely well. From the estimate to completion, everything went well. A rep came to my house and she explained options and made the selection of carpet relatively painless. Dave was in charge of the project and he communicated regularly with me before, during and after the project. Carlos and Pedro were the installers who worked incessantly and were always making sure I was pleased with the quality of the project. The house was left clean. Dave reached out to me after the project to make sure my wife and I were completely satisfied. I would recommend without hesitation

Great, even though not the lowest estimate, I felt this company was the most professional and responsive. I also felt there were no hidden cost with them, all cost were given up front. It was a seamless experience with everything on schedule. An issue came up during the installation (no fault of the installers) and my salesperson contacted me before continuing and gave me a price adjustment before further work was done. I could not be happier with the results.
