My house has gone from an ugly contemporary to a beautiful craftsman style home. I absolutely recommend Baseline Construction

If not for the delay of his subs (unfortunately out of his control), my job probably would have been finished at least 3 weeks before it was actually completed. Beyond that, I highly recommend Baseline Construction, and would definitely use him again!

+ 3 moreJosh and his team are AMAZING. From the very first phone call to the final payment everything was seamless. The pricing was extremely detailed and including many things that we did not think of. We received updates and change orders throughout the process so there was never a "surprise". His payment terms were great. The qualify of work is excellent. My husband and I are extremely picky. We told Josh that we were only willing to proceed if he could guarantee us that the work would never look like a renovation and that is exactly what he did. Every board, seam, joint, tile and fixture matches up perfectly with the original structure. The one thing that I found most amazing is that Josh was willing to meet us when we went shopping to assist in our selection of paint, tile and fixtures and offer suggestions at no charge . . .just because that is what he does. We never saw Josh when he was not smiling. We would recommend Baseline Construction to anyone looking for a professional, courteous, thorough contractor. If you want the work done right the first time with quality workmanship from an honest and trustworthy professional - call Baseline Construction. .

+ 0 moreWe did not have any problems during construction, Joshua provided us with a construction schedule and adhered to the schedule except when when weather or the availabillity of materials necessitated a change. He kept us in informed every step of the way. Baseline's pricing was very reasonable, the work was completed quickly and was of excellent quality. The subcontractors he used also did excellent work.
Description of Work: We had three contractors provide estimates to add a roof over our existing deck, replace the deck supports, as well as replace the deck boards and handrails. One of the three contractors we contacted intially did not do this type of work and gave our number to Joshua Whitbeck with Baseline Construction. Of the three estimates, Joshua Whitbeck's was the most knowledgable and provided the most thorough estimate. We accepted Baseline's proposal. Baseline Construction removed the existing deckboards, exsiting handrails and existing deck supports. New footers and 6X6 supports were installed for the deck and new roof. The new roof was tied into the exsiting roof and shingled to match. A beadboorad ceiling was installed beneath the new roof. We had a new celing fan installed in the ceiling of the new roof. New deck boards were screwed in place, the existing deck had nailed boards. A new handrail was installed using split 2x4's between the rails. The handrail tops are 2X6 boards trimmed with a router. The supports the stairs and new handrail are 6X6 posts. Although, we were satified with the construction of the existing deck, the work completed by Joshua and his team was much more substantial and of much better quality. Joshua's attention to detail was excellent. While he was on site, we decided to add footers to support our existing 6X6 retaining wall, replace the existing 4" gutters on the back of the house with a 6" gutters and cut off the existing roof overhang even with the exterior wall under the new roof instead of boxing this in. We used a semitransparent stain on the exterior of the deck and a solid stain underneath. We also had the exsting 6X6 retaining wall pressure washed and stained. We were very pleased, with the value, quality and how quickly the work was completed.
