Travis has since worked on our AC to resolve the drainage problem. He was able to determine the cause of the problem had started when the drainage system was installed incorrectly 9 years ago. When the house was first built the AC was set up with a drainage system that went through the basement. The PVC pipe actually slanted up hill once it entered the basement. There was no support of gravity so the pipe stayed full and clogged up with stagnant water and slime. After a lot of work he was able to un plug the drain but ultimately ended up having to rework the plumbing so that it would drain downhill. SInce there was no good alternative through the basement Travis was able to exit directly from the 2nd floor rafter and pipe into the existing rain gutter. The neglect of this problem for the last nine years has caused an unsightly mess and staining on the back wall of the house. The roof shingles will need to be replaced and the house repainted to fix it all because it was installed incorrectly and not followed up on by the negligent homeowner. Travis has been fantastic to deal with. He quotes a fair price and has come in at a lower final cost every time. He has provided us with some good maintenance tips and recommended a solid plan for next spring along with the potential cost. This was proactive planning for us because we now know the AC coil is wearing out and the condenser is acting up. Travis's knowledge and foresight enables us to plan ahead for the potential of this $3,000 expense. We will definitely use Atlanta Indoor for that work and all other Heating or AC problems. We plan to refinish the basement and will add an additional unit at that time. Travis will get all of our future business because he took the time to help us with a smaller problem in a fair and professional way!
