Mark did a great job. He was very professional and, when we made a change to the trim color, handled it with no problems. The house and fences look great. We would definitely use his services again.

I called to set up a time for a quote and he offered to come out immediately. Talk about fast service! He arrived quickly and was extremely professional. I showed him the two rooms needing to be painted and he took a few notes before leaving to return to his office to work up a quote. That same evening he emailed me the quote with several options along with the price of each option. Although his prices were reasonable and competitive, I had no idea at all the cost for interior painting and did not budget enough for the project. In the future, finances allowing, I will absolutely call him back out.

Mark has an eye for details and excellent suggestions along the way -- even outside his bailiwick (and he has a good network of other contractors). A true gentleman and a spiritual soul.

Anointed Painting painted the wood trim of our house, which had recently been replaced because of dry rot. With Fall and winter rains approaching, the wood needed to be painted and sealed. Anointed performed this task. The communication with the company was courteous and prompt. I felt the price was fair. The work was done on time and looks great.

Mark Mickschl arrived on time on the designated day.We reviewed the work to be done and he promptly started painting.He worked very diligently and finished on time.Some of the areas have 20 foot ceilings. He did a very good job.In the weeks since I have found NOTHING lacking and believe me I am good at inspecting.He is very pleasant to work with and very thorough.He even gave me some helpful suggestions on some other areas. I love the new paint job and I have received so many compliments. I plan to hire him again in a few months to paint the exterior of my home.

We were in a hurry to get the painting completed as we were planning on listing our home for sale soon - we had a deadline. Mark began the job on the day he said he would, he was very nice, professional, and worked quickly. He completed the work on time! We were so pleased with him and his work that we then asked him to paint a structure above the garage... We were really pressed to get it completed quickly, he fit us in his schedule and finished in time for us! Hard to find a painter that shows up on time, puts in full days of work, completes work as promised, even sweeps and cleans up behind him. Anointed Painting did a fantastic job for a fair price!

He did a very good job, he did the work in one and half days, and he had the lowest bid. He painted one door for us, and didn't charge us extra. He pulled off the switch covers, and the duct covers as he painted, and then he put them back. He didn't tape the windows, but he was very careful about going round them. The pricing was excellent. I was pleased with him. He was very responsive, and he was one of the first ones to come out. He came out within a couple of hours after we called him to look at the job. We would call him again if we had another job to do.

Mark was great at talking through the exterior painting job. He saved us money by suggesting using elastomeric paint on our stucco instead of having it re-stuccoed. He told us what to expect regarding how much existing cracks would continue to show, etc. The exterior paint job was done on schedule, efficiently, and looks great. We weren't as happy with the interior painting. Not much prep was done. When I realized he & his staff wouldn't be cleaning or wiping down our dusty plaster walls prior to painting, my son & I quickly began doing so ourselves. Additionally, no painter's tape and very few drop cloths were used. By the time he painted the small area in our bedroom, I had realized I needed to cover our furniture myself. Unfortunately, one of the cloths I used to cover one of our family heirloom dressers had slipped off, and their were a few small paint droplets on it. When I looked at the interior jobs closely, there were many sloppy-looking areas. The biggest issue I had with all these jobs were the bathrooms. The paint store filled the order with the wrong color, which I wasn't able to catch until it was painted; Mark did repaint it with the correct color. Mark didn't use the paint and color I requested on the bathroom trim/moulding and ceilings. He used a white that was not as pure white as I requested, so I wasn't happy with the color, and it was an old, very smelly paint. Our bathrooms, which had previously smelled fine, smelled like mildew, a huge and stressful problem as we were ready to put our house on the market. Mark came back & painted over the ceilings with the paint I had originally requested, but the mildew smell persisted. This was very upsetting, as bad odors can be the number one turnoff to potential home buyers, and the smell has been noticeable by real estate agents and people coming to see our home. I had some difficulty in communicating with Mark in terms of paints used, timing of when he would be there to paint, etc. There were a couple times that he had said he would "be there Monday or Tuesday", but never confirmed the date/time, and just showed up. It was lucking my son & I happened to be home a lot during that period to allow him to paint. Communication wasn't bad, just needed a little refining. Overall, while there were things I was left unhappy about, I feel Mark really works at and cares about customer satisfaction, and did his best to make things right.

Marc and I scheduled an appointment for a painting estimate. A few days later Marc called to cancel because he was leaving town. Upon his return, he called to reschedule. I declined his painting services because I had selected someone else. I was interested in using his other services so we agreed upon a date to come out and give me an estimate. He did not come to my house as scheduled. He called a few days later to say he was not sure if our appointment had passed or if it was coming up. He wanted to reschedule. I did not return his call.

It went well. He was very nice. I didn't hire him because of the cost.

The painters were very professional and polite. There was adeal of preperation work to be done prior to the actual painting, including pulling down overgrown vines, covering the structure; this was done efficently and everything went well.

Great 5 gallons of paint covered the job. Everyone else told me I would need 10 gallons.

Mark was very fair and took his time to complete the job correctly. I was surprised it that he was the only one that showed for the job, and it took him 10+ hours to complete the work, but he was very thorough. I would highly recommend Mark to my friends or family.

We spoke to several paint contractors - two who wanted to just quote a price over the phone and show up to do the work, one that came out and gave a quote, but did not return a call with a question on the bid. Mark is excellent at communication and we really liked that he understood that we were not trying to hire the least expensive contractor. We wanted top quality to go along with the new door system. He has met and exceeded every expectation. I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him.

Terrific. Mark was responsive throughout the process, easy to work with, and did a quality job. He also happily met our tight turnaround time given we had extended family coming to town and needed the door back in time. We were concerned that the door had some weather damage, but it was no problem for Mark. The door came out great, and we would not hesitate to use Anoited Painting again.

Mark and his team worked quickly and efficiently. He gave me a reasonable quote up front and stuck to it. The whole project took less than 2 weeks to complete. He first painted the entire interior within 2-3 days, which included all walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, with the bathrooms, kitchen, and trim painted a semigloss. The following week he returned to do the exterior, applying 2 coats of one color to the body of the house and a second color to the trim. He took down all my exterior light fixtures to do the job and was happy to replace them with new light fixtures I purchased myself when the job was over. While other painters I received quotes from wanted to nickel and dime me for every door and cabinet, Mark was true to his original quote. There were several closet doors I initially did not want to paint, and so were not expressly included in Mark's quote. However, when I changed my mind later, Mark was happy to paint them at no extra cost. In fact, a few new doors I had purchased were not delivered before Mark had finished the entire project and Mark offered to come back and paint them when they arrived, despite the fact that I had already paid him in full. When the doors finally did arrive weeks later, Mark was true to his word and returned within a few days to paint them, he even went around the house and touched up spots that the movers had damaged.
