Went great. They worked hard & completed all that we needed to be done.

They were almost always late. They would send out an email stating that they would be coming out on a specific day but often times would not make it due to one excuse or the other. Then the grass would be a foot high and they would charge extra for the high grass even though it was their fault that they did not show on the previous appointments. Their billing was horrible. They called me regarding an invoice that was not paid even though I was set up on automatic payment. I cannot recall even if the company provided me a service on that day. Their service is horrible. I asked their lawn guys to trim my shrubs. The flower bed was only about 7-8 foot long by 3 feet wide. The guys said sure. I had no problems paying them extra. However, it never got done. I then requested it again and the guy once again said he would take care of it and he never did. Then I asked the service people directly via email to cut the shrubs and then they sent a guy out that said he took over and hour and a half to cut 4 bushes and charged over $80 which is more than it cost to cut the entire yard. I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

Talked with Lonnie on 8/8/13 or 8/9/13 and scheduled yard work for 8/14/13. The initial job was to trim greatly overgrown foundation plants that had ballooned to full hedge size in this year's rain, possibly trim some low-hanging tree limbs, and get an estimate for future work -- pine straw in beds and possibly request an estimate for ongoing lawn care, depending on the outcome of this job. He looked at my property via satellite during that first phone call, so my impression was it was clear what the job entailed since we discussed things as he looked . The price was a base $65 plus $65 an hour. Phoned TLC on Sat. 8/10/13 with a question. No return call. First red flag, in retrospect. Phoned again on Monday 8/12 with that same question, and because there had been no return call from Saturday, decided it might be best to limit this initial job to hedge trimming and estimates for future work. During the conversation I asked Lonnie if he could ballpark a time his crew might arrive on 8/14. He said he couldn't. That was okay with me since I'd arranged to stay at home all day for TLC. On 8/14 the lawn crew didn't show, no telephone call from TLC, nothing. Sorry, but not bothering to call is a deal breaker with me. Giving TLC ample time to show up or call, way past sundown I called and left a message canceling the job. Lonnie was extremely nice on the phone each time I spoke with him, very courteous, and before the no-show and no telephone call, I would have described him as sounding like someone enjoyable to do business with, making this outcome unexpected and difficult to understand. How long does it take to make a phone call if a crew is running late, or to reschedule, which I would have been agreeable to do? It simply makes no sense. I have no idea what happened, and I unfortunately cannot recommend TLC as a result.

Spoke with Receptionist, whom was very nice and informative. Lonnie called me back within 20 mins. He understood exactly what I needed. It was a very busy week, as it had been raining several days. Even though he had to catch everyone's yards up , he still got me in the end of the week, as I had wanted. I'm now set up for every 2 weeks. I look forward to my yard looking this good all the time and at a great price. Seem like good people working hard to please people with a good result.
