Huber Outdoor Specialists exceeded my expectations. They took my yard from being a weed infested messy desert to a lush green paradise! They laid sod, did amazing landscaping with trees, boulders, shrubs, and flowers. They cleaned up a big messy pile in the back of the yard and turned it into a “secret garden” with two large sitting rocks and a privacy wall of holly trees between our yard and the neighbors yard. They laid sod and planted trees and bushes in the front and back yard. One of my favorite parts is the Japanese maple they planted on a hill with boulders around the base to keep the soil in place. I had an arborist out here a couple of weeks ago because I thought I had harmed the new maple tree they planted at the base of the hill with a cut I did (it turns out I didn’t damage it.) He was SO impressed with the whole yard. I gave him a complete tour and he kept saying, “This is beautiful. Your yard is just beautiful. Who did you say did this work?” My sister came over last week and told me that she has a friend that got sod last year and my sod already looks more established - because they did such a great job laying it that the lines between the pieces have already disappeared. And it’s so green! I’ve had numerous compliments from my neighbors. They also fixed a part of my sidewalk that was sticking up (a big trip hazard) from a river birch root. They moved the pavement piece with the forklift, cut away the big root, and put the pavement piece back in place - and it’s perfectly level now. And the big root became a piece of art in the secret garden - which was their suggestion. Which brings me to another topic - the creativity they added to this project. The design work they did was top notch. They worked with me, asked questions, then made suggestions. Then we’d discuss the suggestion and sometimes tweak it a bit. It was such an amazingly creative process. It took all the stress off of me, but allowed me to be involved at whatever level I wanted to be. And it was so fun! And the results are just spectacular. My whole yard - both front and back - have been completely transformed by Huber Outdoor Specialists into a serene and beautiful oasis. They are a truly talented group, and I am so lucky that I found them. I would recommend them to anyone. As a matter of fact, people I don’t even know have actually knocked on my door to find out who did my yard. Plus their prices are reasonable and they are all wonderfully nice people. They also have a yard maintenance branch of their company and are now doing maintenance on the beautiful yard they created. And they are top notch in that department too. If you have anything you need done to your yard - then give them a call. You won’t be disappointed.

Huber, his Father and crew did a fantastic job bringing our outdoor vision and project to life. We requested a variety of work from retaining walls, flagstone patio extension, irrigation/drainage solutions, boulder placement and sod installation. They offered fantastic recommendations that added value to the overall project. Also, they were incredibly kind and really paid attention to even the smallest design details.
