Description of Work: They put up a guard that runs along the side of gutters to protect the wood. The guard they took down to replace had rusted out. It was much larger than what they replaced it with. I did not know this until the work was finished. The owner did reduce the price by $25 but I would have preferred a larger guard.

Description of Work: First, I was not an ideal customer. Several conflicts came up that made me put them off a few times and delayed service for two weeks. For putting up with the changes, they were great. It took them (two gentlemen) less than an hour to clean my gutters and re-nail in a few areas where the gutters were pulling. For that, I believe the price was a bit high. Also, there is still some sediment in the gutters and, again for the price, it would have been good to have more than a blower used to clean. Overall, I believe they did a fair job and were punctual.

Description of Work: I called Gutters Cleaned and Repaired to clean out the gutters on the house we just bought that is directly underneath pine and oak trees- they were terribly clogged with leaves and gunk. They called me back and set up an date to come out that week and did an excellent job. I have a house that is one story in front and 2 stories in back so it isn't something we can really do ourselves. They were mostly on time and professional. They also provide other services that I will probably take advantage of in the future (pressure washing, painting, deck repair, etc).

+ -1 moreI needed my downspout repaired following a high-wind storm a couple of months ago that ripped a 20+ foot downspout off the side of my townhome. On initial inspection, Lloyd quoted me a price that exceeded my insurance adjustor's estimate of what the work would take. After explaining to Lloyd that I would need to get my insurance adjuster involved in the price descrepency, he was willing to negotiate the price in order to get the job. He eventually lowered his price over $100 and got within $50 of the insurance estimate. I agreed to pay and they did a fine job repairing my downspout. I still don't know what the proper amount to pay should have been. I feel Lloyd's initial quote was too high, and my insurance adjustor's quote was low, in order to keep the repair within my deductible window. Lloyd and his crew installed the new downspout, and inspected my gutters for debris and cleaned them out where necessary. I would do business with them again.
Description of Work: Needed 20+ foot downspout re-attached to the side of my townhome after being blown off the building in a storm. Also needed gutter at top of townhome inspected and cleaned where necessary, as well as wrap-around gutter above front door porch area. All work was completed to my satisfaction.

+ 0 moreThese guys fixed my gutters when another company told me they couldn't be fixed. They came out on time, cleaned all my gutters (even though I didn't ask for that) and didn't even send me a bill until after they called a week later to see if everything was working ok.. That's what I call awesome.
Description of Work: Re-leveled gutters, unclogged downspouts, cleaned all gutters, cleaned up all debris, even blew the driveway.

+ -1 moreThe job was very smooth. Gutters Cleaned and Repaired has been repairing my gutters for years from storm damage and related issues. I just wish I had had them also cleaning them, because not having them cleaned properly caused major flooding in my basement. Lloyd came out the same day we figured out the problem (when it was raining) to start getting the gutters clear to prevent any further basement issues. He finished the remainder of the job (incuding preparing gutter extensions) on time and precisely on budget. He had suggested I do the repairs 3 years ago, but I declined (big mistake). He gave me the same price in 2009 as then. I recommend Gutters Cleaned and Repaired because I know I can count on them.
Description of Work: After clogged gutters caused our basement to flood, Mr. Cargle helped us repair the areas re-align the gutters and repair rotted soffit where the gutters had come loose from the house.
