Dynamic Installations

To begin with, we used this company in 2014. The person that we dealt with and represented himself as the owner, was Tate Satterfield. We also learned on the day the work was to begin that it was not Dynamic Installations whom we contracted to perform the work would actually be doing it, they had a sub-contractor doing the job. At the time my husband had an issue with the way the flashing was installed and made mention of it. He was told there would be no problems as it was installed correctly. Prior to the start of work, we requested a Certificate of Insurance. After learning that there was a subcontractor, we requested the same from him, naming both my husband and myself as Additional Insured. That request was not appreciated. At completion of the project, when payment was made, we requested a Release of Lien, One from the subcontractor stating he was paid from the contractor and one from the contractor that he was paid in full from us. That request was not accepted graciously either, but that is the proper way to do business. Now the finally. The flashing that my husband found unacceptable caused us to have water seepage over time that rotted out the wood, drywall, caused damage to our wood floors, which all needs repair. And the window leaked and now needs replacing. When I phoned several times to Mr. Satterfield and emailed him, I received no response. I guess we shouldn't have asked for proof of insurance and payment. (Just to mention, we have a contracting business and that is the way to do business)

Our experience was terrible. We had a leak coming through our bedroom. The roofer went in the attic and told us our leak is not coming from the roof and it was coming from another water line. I know the leak is coming back from the roof. They did not fix anything.

Appointment scheduled. Tate Satterfield was prompt and professional. He evaluated roof and took pictures of current damage. Cost of repairs are far beyond the scope of what can be provided through the Big Deal that was purchased. Mr. Satterfield suggested getting a refund for purchase as he is not able to complete the needed repairs for the cost as purchased.

The job went extremely well. I originally signed up for the $179 special Angie's List promotion for Dynamic Installations. When Tate arrived on-site he determined that the roof was damaged by hail and high winds. I contacted my insurance company and they sent out an adjuster. Tate met with the adjuster and I a few days after his initial visit. After a thorough inspection of the roof the adjuster agreed and files a report. My insurance company agreed with the adjuster. I scheduled the job with Tate and the crew started and completed the work in less than a day and a half. Throughout the entire project everyone from Dynamic Installations acted in a very courteous and professional manner. Particularly noteworthy was how Tate proactively kept me apprised of the status of the project. I was so impressed with the completed job and ensuing cleanup that I posted a Dynamic Installations sign in my front yard. That was a first for me. I would highly recommend them to any anyone seeking professional roof work.

Tate was very responsive and punctual. Even though our job was small, He treated us with what i would assume the same respect and professionalism he would for a large job.

Tate is a very friendly person eager to help out homeowners to maintain their homes. He was able to schedule the job within the same week I contacted him. His crew was on time, courteous, and hard working. They did a great job on the roof and a good clean up afterwards, all in one day! They cleared out the rusting gutters and put the spikes back in which was not an easy feat. I will be calling Dynamic Installations again as soon as possible to get the gutters replaced. The price was very fair and he even threw in some plywood when they discovered some rotten pieces. Thank you for a job well done and for being an honest, caring individual, it is nice to know there are some people out there willing to look out for others and that still understand the value of customer service for repeat business!

He looked at my roof and let me know the work the needed done was not covered by the deal. They were polite, professional and showed me what the problem was.

We have vinyl siding, and there was one particular spot that we were hoping to have resolved. Ultimately it is a vinyl siding and window problem, because the leak is still occurring. He offered to refer someone for vinyl siding. He tried a possible solution which did not work, unfortunately. The provider was very friendly and put time into thinking about resolving the problem.

Excellent. They were very proactive and seemed very interested in making sure my roof was in the best possible condition.

Tate's work very well

It went well. He actually found some structural damage. He was very professional. He got the job done in about an hour to an hour and a half. The scheduling was fine and he was easy to work with. The structural damage was all handled through my insurance.

This was the second time I had used Tates services, on two different houses, and have found him to be conscientious and very interested in solving the problems I had. In the first case he had to make several trips to find and repair the leak in a roof over a porch. I am impressed with his sense of duty and doing what he said he would do.

Came over the previous week and did a walk-around with me. Scheduled around my work and all the rain we've had lately. Very professional and pleasant I will need a new roof in the future (approx. 14 yr old), but maybe this will hold it off a few more years. Thanks!

I bought an Angie's list deal to inspect my roof and repair leaks. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out and fixed the minor leak, inspected my roof, and told me other than the minor flashing issue, my roof was in great shape. I was expecting them to try to sell me a new roof which I knew I didn't need, and that didn't happen. The repair person also really seemed to know his stuff. I would highly recommend them. It is hard to find an honest roofing contractor.

After waiting to hear from this company a friend looked at the roof and gave me an estimate. I then contacted Tate Satterfield at Dynamic Installations and even with my big deal discount he would not be able to match the price I was given elsewhere.

He came out and was very punctual and very professional. He looked at it and said that what I wanted wasn't included in the deal.

It was not to my expectation. I bought the deal expecting somebody would come and inspect the roof and fix loose shingles. They came out and spent 10 minutes for the service. They just walked on the roof. I even asked them to give me an estimate for chimney inspection and they didn’t get back to me with that. They claimed everything on the roof is fine but I have a hard time believing that. There’s no loose shingle or even a nail that needs to be replaced. I can see some loose shingles. They were also supposed to do maintenance work, not just the inspection. They didn’t even have tools when they came. I think he was driving his personal car. They cancelled the first appointment because of rain and that was understandable. It took multiple e-mails to reschedule the service. They said that they’re gonna come this day and they never showed up. I was not satisfied with them. They did not give me any report or leave their business card.

He went on the roof, pulled up the shingles and looked at tracking around chimney. He calked the area in question. Also noted the flashing was not installed correctly around chimney causing the water to pool up during heavy rains why we were getting leaks periodically. Noted the caulking should stop but in case it happened again that was part of the problem - original installation from builder or new roofer (installed 5+ years ago).

They were on time and seemed to do a good job (I guess the next big rainstorm will be the proof). They did not try to sell us any extra services, which I appreciated.

The provider looked at the roof and said it was caused by tree limbs falling on the roof. He promised to provide a repair estimate but never did. I checked with my insurance company and the repairs were covered by insurance, so I had the roof repaired by my insurance provider. Dynamic Installations did not perform any repairs or fix anything.

Tate came out and repaired a roof leak in a fairly tricky area of our roofline. It did not take the first time and he promptly came out a second time (at no additional charge) and fixed it for good. Tate showed up early, was incredibly professional and polite and he really does care about the quality of his work. I would recommend him all day long. In fact, I walked him over to meet a neighbor who is in need of some roofing work.

He said he fixed my front porch roof which was leaking but actuially it was not fixed at all.. Worst service.
