JOHNNY APPLESEED TREE SERVICE

If anyone is looking for a tree service who will show up when they are supposed to, finish when they say they will, and does great work, you need to call Johnny Appleseed Tree Care in Waverly Hall, GA. John Moore's team did an amazing job at our home. Mr. Moore came out and gave me a price I could not say no to, his office scheduled a start date 1 month out and said it would take 3 days to complete. They were here at 9am on the scheduled date and started working. 3 days later they are finished. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their work ethic!

I said I would do another review after job was done, here it is. I made the mistake of paying him in advance instead of waiting until the job was done. The invoice said $675 for 5 hours ( I was not there so I don't know what time he started) but if he started at the EARLIEST at 8:00 am, he was there the MAX 3 1/2 hours ( he text me at 11:20 that he was done). I have tried to get a straight answer on why I paid for 5 hours when he worked less than at least the MAX 3 1/2 hours. I have yet to get a response or offer of reduction of price. It was only one tree and it was not an emergency, it was done 4 days later. This was the son, I should have dealt with the father, the owner. He probably didn't tell his father but he was quick to cash check. Waited this long for a response from him before posting a review.

Will do another one once done but see above comments on the consult.

Originally quoted a price of $925.00 but since job took less time than anticipated he reduced price to $850.00. Did an excellent job and cleaned and removed all trees/limbs. Would highly recommend this company.

They responded promptly with a visit and price. Showed up on time and were very nice and professional. John has owned the business for 40 years and made sure everything was done correctly. I was very please with the whole process.

John Moore is the owner and he was very prompt to give me an estimate for cutting down trees on my property. His professional courteous nature meant that he had a very good edge on other tree service companies that I contacted. He and his son and a helper came and cut the selected trees down, and provided me with a service second to none. He climbed a particular tree near my house to cut limbs off before cutting the rest down safely. He then cut all the fallen trees into manageable lengths for me to use on my property as erosion control. I received estimates from other companies for the same job that ranged from $1200 down to $325. What a huge difference in prices! We saved a substantial amount by using this mans professional services....I can't speak highly enough of this mans company. I would recommend this man anytime to anyone that wants a professional job done without getting ripped off...too common these days....Thanks Angie's list

He is excellent. I have used him several times. He came when he was supposed to, did what they needed to do. He is fairly priced. He is top notch.

Although his company's workload was slow at the time of the estimate, Mr. moore advised that the work shouldn't be done until the trees in question had gone into dormancy for the Fall and we agreed to hold off until that time. The job was done in mid-January 2008 over a 2-day time period as estimated. Despite Mr. Moore's chipper getting jammed and being down for 4 hours, Mr. Moore and his crew were highly diligent and absolutely professional in getting the job done, within the time-frame estimated and even a healthy chunk under the estimate, despite the difficulties involved in the job. Mr. Moore and his crew are the only outfit I will hire for future tree service.
