Description of Work: Jordan Air installed a ductless mini-split system in the basement of our home. Jay, the sales associate who provided the estimate was very knowledgeable, and the installation staff was great and professional. They installed everything quickly, explained everything after they were done with the installation, and they left our house as clean as they found it. | |My only (very minor) complaint is that when we booked the installation we were told the crew would arrive between 8-9am, but when they called the night before at 6:30pm to confirm our installation appointment, we were told that we were down as a "PM Install" and the crew would arrive around 11 or 12. My husband had already had to take the entire day off work because of the original installation time we were given, so he could have saved about 4 hours of leave time if we had just been told the correct installation time from the beginning. | |Overall, though, they were a great company to deal with and I plan on using them for all of my HVAC servicing needs.

Description of Work: Replaced ducts in the crawlspace, air sealed the crawlspace floor, sealed vents inside the house, installed new filter system at handler. Everyone was polite, professional, and friendly from the estimate to the guys that did the work. The guys that did the work went above and beyond, spent all day here in the cramped space, cleaned up all the mess and even laid a path of bubble insulation down from the crawlspace door to the air handler so the new plastic on the ground wouldn't get torn up when it was serviced. We signed up for their yearly service when we moved here last year, and will continue to use them.

Description of Work: Representative giving estimate was knowledgeable and did not try to oversell. We needed to replace an old furnace in our attic with a more efficient model. Since there was no way to remove or replace the furnace using the available entrance, this required removing a section of the ceiling. All work was done professionally and to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: Total replacement of HVAC including all duct work. It was all done in one day with no unexpected additional cost. Outstanding installers, each introduced themselves and were extremely polite.

Description of Work: I called Jordan Air for second opinion after I got the diagnosis of leaking compressor terminals and need to replace external/compressor unit. I called Jordan Air for second opinion. Technician came up with diagnosis of problem with evaporator coil. I was concerned and got third company to check who came with the original diagnosis. Called Jordan Air again-- technician now agreed he was wrong first time-- his equipment was not calibrated or malfunctioned. What i liked was that he was straight forward and honest. Cost from all three were roughly the same 2150 (Jordan Air), 2200 (first company) and 2300 (Third Company). Of the three, it seemed Jordan Air had the best office operations (prompt with response, email response, mobile phone response) so I gave them the project. They waived service fee because of misdiagnosis first time.

Description of Work: I've used this company three times. The first two jobs went were without incident and I was quite satisfied. The last call was to repair a noisy central heat unit and to do pre summer check of AC. The heater was not repaired. The AC downstairs no longer worked. I found a used filter from upstairs unit on the attic floor. The company did send another fellow out next day who quickly fixed downstairs unit. The company was supposed to order a part to fix the heater. I'm still waiting to hear from them on that.

Description of Work: The company installed a complete HVAC duct system in my to-be-finished basement. They also installed a multi zone system board, that enabled my existing unit to be used for the basement as well as the first floor.

Description of Work: Heat and Air maintenance, service and installation of programmable thermostats. The service from Jordan is always great. They call when they are on the way and almost always show up on time. If they are running late they call and let you know. Great service techs who clean up after they are done. Highly recommend.
