This is the second time I've used Jordan Air. The first was when they replaced the ductwork for the system. I have been very impressed with everyone I've had contact with at Jordan Air. They're all so polite and respectful, which is something rare in today's world. The quality of work is excellent and they were happy to answer all of my questions. All of the installation guys were very professional. I received a phone call when they were about 30 minutes out and they arrived promptly at the scheduled time. The price was probably a little higher than another company would've charged, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. High quality work and professionalism comes at a price. And, they didn't just send out a couple of guys to do the install......they sent a crew! It was like having a bunch of worker bees humming around the house! They had to take down part of the fence to get the unit to where it was to be installed......then they put the fence back....couldn't even tell they'd done it. Actually, Jordan Air also did the maintenance on my old system. It was on it's last leg when I purchased the house and it kept limping along. This company got a few more months out of it, but finally, it died and I didn't have much choice but to replace it. Going forward, I'll continue to have this company service the HVAC system. The girls in the office are wonderful, too....efficient and helpful in scheduling appointments and calling to remind me and confirm. I highly recommend Jordan Air.

They get the job done but they are a little pricey.

We applied for financing and we are waiting to call them in the morning to set up an installation date.

We knew them before we joined. They were excellent. Their price was very good. They are very professional. They are very fast. The guys were very nice and very responsible. We used them a lot because we have a bunch of property.

I would recommend them very highly. They did a great job, it was a good price, and good follow up. It was a pretty good deal for both the furnace and the coil. They were just very professional, very quick, and very clean. It was a good service.

The workers were courteous and respectful. We are very happy with the new unit which works much better than our old unit and is saving us money on heating bills. Jordan Air filed the energy rebates for us and we received the credit on our power bill. We were very pleased with Jordan Air and even if their prices were a little higher than the competition, we felt it was well worth it!

I can truly say these guys are top shelf all the way. From the first visit to the last everything was great. After the install I had a problem with a relay, this was immediately taken care of. Highly recommend.

It went great. First, they won us over with a great bid on a Trane unit. Next, they sent two experienced, well mannered tech's to knock out our job - their attention to detail on running the lines and addressing a water leak issue I had was excellent. They got there at 8:30 and didn't leave until the job was done correctly at 6:30 - really impressed with this Company.

I have used the provider for 3 years since they installed a new replacement unit for the upstairs. That unit was a combination gas furnace and electric AC unit.It has worked well for the 3 years. At that time I switched service providers and they they reported that the special flu exhaust pipe on the downstairs combination high efficiency gas furnace was not properly installed. To change it would require an new hole in the exterior wall. I chose not to do that. This spring the service man reported that the humidifier (10/11) years old for the downstairs gas furnace unit was rusted and should be replaced. It would be expensive. I chose to wait since it was not needed during the spring/summer. This early fall I considered repairing both problems with the older downstairs dual system or replacing the system. I decided on the latter and went with a high seer heat pump since I did not want a new hole in the wall and finding a new location for the flu was a questionable because of my home layout. Also a humidifier and new flu pipe was not needed with a heat pump. The service men have never have entered my home without using coverings on there shoes in the 3 years I have used the company and did not this fall during the installation, either. I was also able to negotiate a discount by paying cash and to obtain a labor warranty for the same length of time as for the Trane parts warranty. The servicing on the second upstairs unit was done separately, 1 week later.

A sales associate first came to evaluate my old system. Then he gave me different options and quotes for each. He listened carefully to what my needs were and answered all of my questions. For example, due to my allergies, he suggested a certain filter system. He was very thorough and not at all pushy. He never tried to sell me on one specific unit, but explained the pros and cons of each. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Two days later, the company sent 2 technicians out to remove the old unit and install the new one. A third tech showed up to also offer assistance. They were very nice, friendly and I felt comfortable with them there. They worked all day and when leaving, I could not even tell they had been there. They cleaned up completely, which is not something I can say about most service companies!! I have also been a part of their maintenance agreement service for two years now and am very happy with this company.

The technician did not find anything out of the ordinary. He checked the ductwork in the attic as well and did not find any immediate issues, but he did note that the ducts were out of date (not up to code) and suggested some possible solutions. I decided to go with his recommendation to have someone else come out and give us an estimate on updating the ducts to make them more efficient. Overall, the technician found no problems and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable.

I had two other service companies out that could not diagnose the problem without the problem actually occuring. Jordan Air was able to diagnose the problem. They came back and repaired it. I was extremely pleased with them. They do good work. I was impressed by how knowledgeable the service technician was.

Our natural gas water heater died two nights ago. Our gas and electric service is with Walton EMC. They have been encouraging customers to switch from gas to high efficiency electric Marathon units. Walton EMC is the Metro Atlanta and Greater Athens dealer for the Marathon® energy-efficient water heater that is guaranteed to last as long as you own your home. Cool! (or should I say HOT.) To sweeten the deal, they have two rebates: (1) Electric water heater installation, gas to electric conversion, 40 gallons or larger: $200/unit, and (2) Marathon water heater purchase from Walton EMC and installed on their lines: $200/unit. Total rebate $400! That's why I bought the unit from Walton instead of directly from Jordan Air. Walton recommended Jordan Air for the installation as being properly trained in this unit, and they have an excellent reputation in Angie's List. I called Jordan Air the morning after the tank failed, and they almost immediately sent Jay to inspect the existing water heater and current installation. He was able to come less than 90 minutes after I called. He quoted me a price of $450 which I accepted. I then ordered a new water heater from Walton and picked-it up myself, although Jordan Air would have done it for me for $50 more. I had the tank in my home by 2PM yesterday and called Jordan Air to confirm a time for installation. They were able to do it this morning, several hours before they originally expected to be able to arrive. Carmen, Steve and Wolf (yes, that's his name) did an excellent job. They worked efficiently, and were always courteous and respectful, not to mention funny. They were in and out in a little over 2 hours. They had to shut-off, cap, and test the gas lines to make sure that no gas leaked. They had to redo copper and plastic plumbing. They ran new electrical wire from my breaker box through the wall and ceiling to the new water heater. I told them I would be happy to accept surface mount, but that's not the way they operate. The estimate price and final price were the same.They cleaned-up after themselves. I am 100% satisfied and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Called after hours to make an appointment. Christy was very nice on the phone. Carmine, the technician, showed up on time and was courteous (dust covers on boots) and professional. Quickly diagnosed the problem which turned out to be just a capacitor. Pfew! He had the part on his truck and was able to swap it out and the A/C runs great now. He charged $170 for a part that retails for about $40, that seems a little bit high, but he had the part on the truck, so that's worth something. He checked his work carefully, documented everything and was in an out in 1 hour flat. Credit Card was quickly processed on the spot. Bottom line is that this is an honest company that does not charge for unnecessary parts or services. Would recommend.

A/C stopped cooling. Within 24 hrs. a tech came. He says inside evaporator prob. His fee is $79.00. Another tech came the next day to locate it. His fee was $100.00. Says the inside evaporator would need replacing. but he could not give estimate. Mr. Jordan came the next day and gave est. of $1210.00. Had to order part and would be so took 4 days before installing it. Part was aday later arriving so took longer than expected. Took all day to install, but worked well. The next day the unit stopped cooling. Another tech came and said that the outside fan motor was freezing. He did have one on his van and was able to replace it. Cost was $380.00. They loaned me a window unit to cool bedroom area. I also used a 5% Angies List coupon on the $1210.

I think I Put That Answer In The Wrong Spot. They Were Great Answered My Questions, Promped, Finished Whenthey Said They Would

The original heat pump system had developed a leak, probably in the evaporator, was noisy, had a poorly designed duct system, and was at the end of its expected lifetime (13 years). The Jordan Air crew arrived exactly when they said they would. They removed and hauled off the old system and duct work, and installed the new system, which is a high-end Trane. The new system is working very well, and is very quiet. They installed the condensate drain line into the drain plumbing of the house. (This will eliminate the puddle on the patio which was a mess and a place for mosquitoes to breed. They finished this part in a day. They also were careful and did not cause any damage to anything at my house. The other part of the job consisted of installing the mini-split heat pump system downstairs. This involved running two sets of refrigerant lines through a brick wall, one to each of the head units. This took a bit longer. These types of system are relatively new in the US, and there were some deficiencies with the installation instructions. They had to confirm how to properly install the condensate pumps, and had to come back to finish. Again, they ran the condensate lines into the house drain plumbing. They did make a follow up visit a few days later to make sure the mini-split head units were installed correctly. They were. Although I have not been through a summer yet with these systems, they have worked well so far. I did need to run them as heaters for a few days and they worked well, and now I am in air conditioning season and they continue to work well. I really appreciate Jordan Air's attention to detail in making sure that the equipment was installed correctly, even when they had to do a bit of "homework" to make sure it was right.

I had seven estimates done for this project and Jordan Air Inc. were the cheapest. They brought a crew and knocked it out within like two days. Everything was done. The did a very good job installing everything. But I had an issue a few months after when the weather changed from hot to cold. It would trip my system because of something wrong with the heat strips under the house. It was hell to get someone to come out here and finish up the job right, at that point. They did the first part of the job real well. They cleaned up well and did everything fast. But it was an issue to get them out here later on when I had that problem.

My A/C - heating system died in February 2012. It was a Friday, cold cold Friday afternoon when I heard a click and later smelled what now know was electrical wires burning. I called Jordan Air that Friday afternoon and they had someone out Friday night to check out the problem. The tech told me it was burned wires and that he could patch it together but didn't recommend that. We decided to go with a patch to get through the weekend and started lining up estimates for new system. After 3 estimates, it was clear that Jordan Air was not only interested in giving us the best options, but also in making sure the options would work with my home/insulation/ductwork. You see, after the photos Jordan Air took and showed me, I even crawled under the house to see (in person) the large gaps in my ductwork. None of the other companies mentioned that the brand spankin' new system they were planning to put in would keep the critters under my home rather comfortable as well as increasing my energy bills to keep the actual home cool/warm. That's what sold me on Jordan Air. They are the complete and total package and my power bill has significantly decreased. Seriously. I went from $350+ in the summer to $200 in July, keeping the home even cooler than ever! It's not all about the shiny new TRANE beast that sits outside your home. It's about keeping the hot/cool air inside your home. And they shiny quiet beast is pretty cool too. Let's see...I also was a bit taken aback by the Jordan Air crew, or what I like to refer to as their "pit crew" as they were there and gone before I knew it. They replaced all the duct work, installed a new unit, insulated the attic...all in a 8am-3pm timeframe. They were a well oiled machine and I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and politeness, not to mention the speed at which they worked. Kudos fellas. As for price, truth be told, Jordan Air was in the same ballpark as everyone else, maybe even a bit higher than one. But their financing options and TRANE savings made up for it. Not to mention the comprehensive ductwork sealing has made my home so much more energy efficient, I'm able to pay my financing monthly with the savings from my electric bill. Seriously. Oh, and if you're a techy, ask about the Nexia Home Intelligence options. They're pretty cool with wireless thermostat monitoring and cameras!

They do exactly what they say they are going to do and never over charge

I interviewed several companies, all estimates were within a few hundred dollars of each other. I went with Jordan Air mostly because of the rebates they offered, but I do think all companies would have done a great job. It was a warm September day, the heat pump and duct work was installed in a small crawl space and one run of duct work put in the attic. What I remember most is that I could hear the workers thru the floor and not once did I hear anyone complain about the working conditions, very professional. They took away all existing ducts and heater, never knew they were here.

All went well and I was impressed by their care and concern. I would recommend this company for efficiency, knowledge, quality and promptness.

Service tech was knowledgeable and replaced several parts quick may have failed due to a power surge.

It went very well. For the compressor replacement, I got quotes from three providers-- this company was more responsive, cost-efficient, and above have a technician/coordinator who did better diagnostics/explanation (I have learned that the coordinator, David, has since moved on). Another company, Fann Heating and Cooling (owner Joe Fann) did service on my 2nd floor unit last year but provided lousy service, and when called for the problem this year, wanted $30 to test for a leak (which turned out to be a capacitor problem as performed by Jordan Air).

Quickly completed troubleshooting and repair
