Description of Work: I agreed on a date and time to meet TNT Quality Services representative at my home, and provided both telephone and email contact information. I took the day off from work to meet the representative at my house at the appointed time/day, but he never arrived or contacted me. Disappointing. | |We all know that unexpected complications occur, but I would have expected a telephone call or email from the owner of the business. It never happened.

Description of Work: Had not used our fireplace in the three years that I've lived in this home. They were backed up so didn't get them out as soon as I'd like but have no problem waiting for quality service especially when there is potential risk for fire in the home. If that is an issue for you, you may want to use someone else but indicated to me they were in high demand. Plus, was just getting into winter season. Returned my phone calls promptly and left them in my home as I had to return to work. They explained the mechanics of the fireplace, things that could be added for safety but not trying to sell me on anything. Couldn't even tell they'd been in my house when I'd returned later in the day. Will definitely use again but schedule them a little sooner in the year.

Description of Work: Todd and his helper arrived on time and were very professional. They were very amicable and we enjoyed having them do our service. They did the job that we requested and did so with utmost efficiency. They not only swept and cleaned the chimney, but went on the roof to inspect and took care of a matter that needed dealing with in that area. They took all precautions to ensure that soot from the chimney did not get on the floor or area surrounding the fireplace. |We would HIGHLY recommend TNT QUALITY SERVICES to anyone needing their chimney and fireplace cleaned or work done on their chimney. The price was very reasonable, as well.

Description of Work: Mr. Lewis and his assistant cleaned my fireplace and chimney, inspected it and installed RH Peterson 24 inch gas log set (including burner and varying flame remote control system. He was professional and answered any questions I may have had. Protective covering was placed over my carpet so if would not get soiled. I would say the job took about 2 1/2 hrs. to complete and I am well pleased to know that my chimney, around 28 years old, is in good shape. Thanks for a job well done. I will definitely recommend you to others.

Description of Work: Cleaned and inspected chimney and chimney cap. This is the second time Todd has cleaned my chimney. He is VERY safety conscious and has given me pointers about how to make my chimney safer. I have a chimney in the middle of my house...and have a wall that gets very warm when the fireplace is used...Todd has given me pointers on how to make this safer. Pointers that my contractor and I WILL be folllowing up on!!

Description of Work: Had them come out an inspect our chimney that I suspected needed to be cleaned. As it turned out it wasn't as dirty as I expected but had TNT clean it any way. TNT said it could wait another year if I wanted but since they were here I went ahead and had them clean it. Very prompt, courteous,knowledgeable and pleasant people. Description of Work: This was a straight forward job. We are selling our home and the chimney needed to be cleaned. The work was performed as required.

Description of Work: Todd cleaned and inspected our existing chimney and wood stove. He took extra time to explain his findings and made very helpful suggestions. In addition, he installed a cap on the second flue that was exposed. Todd went above and beyond the call of duty by looking at a wood stove installation in progress in our new barn and expressed his professional opinion - possibly saving us untold expense and heartache in the future.

Description of Work: Todd Lewis cleaned the chimney, inspected the masonry, installed two caps, one for fireplace flue and one for gas furnace flue. The whole job was done very neatly and he explained exactly what needed to be done. Whole lob took about an hour and 45 minutes.
