We recently needed some significant work to be done on our plumbing. We contacted a few local plumbers. But, only West Plumbing gave us the only reasonable price to come out and determine what was needed. they are the only plumbing company that gave a us a written estimate( with photos) and not a guess-ti-mate. This company was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. They also did not cut corners and made sure the city issued them the correct permits and did a final inspection of the work. We deeply appreciate the West Plumbing team of Brittany(office) and Rob(Master plumber) and Dewalt(Plumbers Assistant). The West Team made sure we understood every step of the process. Everyone, was Respectful, Approachable, Professional, Hardworking and Honest. That is what really sold us, the integrity/Honesty. We highly recommend this company for those who are looking for a reputable company. They provided such excellent service and successuflly resolved our plumbing issue.

I made the appointment last week for them to come today to give an estimate before we went ahead and bought the unit we have in mind. Never was told the tech wouldn't come out for the appointment unless he was able to get us on the phone first. I called at noon since no tech had called and I was told initially the appointment was for between 11 and 1. I was told he would call before he came. Apparently, he did call because he left a message that he was in his way, to give him a call, and he'd see us in a few minutes (or words to that effect). At no time did anyone say he wouldn't come unless we answered the phone. I had told them at noon that we were going to be here, all day if necessary. Instead, at some point the office calls, twice, after 1 pm to say unless I called they wouldn't be dispatching the tech for the estimate. We don't carry our phones around all day, and we had already told them we would be here waiting for the tech. When I called in after getting the last message the woman stated that they had tried to call and wouldn't dispatch unless he could speak with us before he came.... First time I heard that, and even the tech's message didn't say that. So, I called Ronnie, the owner's husband to let him know what had happened and instead of working with a potential customer, all I got was an argument - for all intents and purposes that I was wrong and they were right. I told him I wasn't going to argue with him, and to have a Merry Christmas, but that we would be seeking help elsewhere. He very sarcastically responded the same. The really bad thing here is that we know Ronnie, personally. I called him because I thought he might want to know what happened, from our side of things. I was wrong about that, apparently. Whether we know him personally, or we are simply a potential customer, this response was a shock and totally lacking in customer care. We'll find another company to do this work. Disappointed, to say the very least.

I have lived in this house since 1994 and have always called West Plumbing when ever I have a problem that I cannot solve myself. Recently had two incidents of waste water backing up into basement tub and toilet. Suspected backflow valve. Asked West to do a camera inspection to verify status he valve. During the inspection the technician (Trip) discovered there is a buckle in exterior pipe that is retaining water and causing waste and toilet paper to back up the system and caused the valve to jam in the open position. I understand that plumbing problems can be time consuming and expensive. I paid $370.00 for the house call and inspection, which I consider fair with regards to the technician's time expertise and the cost of the specialized equipment that identified the true hidden problem. I am waiting for an estimate for the necessary repairs and I am sure West Plumbing will be fair regarding it

Mr. Jeff Marsh arrived on time, explained all my options; accomplished the job within a couple of hours. Did a great job. Will definitely use this company again.

Arron came out to replace the cartridges. He was very courteous and respectfully as well as very knowledgeable and competent. He did an outstanding job and I will definitely ask for him the next time I need West Plumbing Services, I could not get the cartridges out and he did not hesitate working to get them out. I was very pleased with Arron's work. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing services you may need.

After I searched Angie s list and read all the positive reviews and realized this is who to trust. I wasn't disappointed as the job was done quickly and efficiently. The tech was awesome! I'll have more work soon and your compamy will get my call. Thanks Jim Long

Rep called and advised he was on his way. Upon arriving, he recommended all the tank parts be replaced and noted gaskets were rusted. He provided an estimate before he started. I though the price was high, but allowed him to proceed. He did a professional job. My only complaint is I thought the price was a little high. More concerned than the cost estimate, I asked if he could provide two costs; the total cost of parts and the total cost of labor. He mentioned they only provide one price. I do not like only seeing a lump cost. Seeing that is their policy, I do not believe I will use them again. He did provide a 10% coupon which reduced the price from $228.82 to $205.94. He also takes photos of before and after which is a good idea.

I believe I had somebody to come out here and what little job I had they wanted $250. They didn't do anything I refused when they gave me that high price and it wasn't worth it. For what I wanted done it was outrageous I fixed it myself and I think it cost me five dollars.

The service was satisfactory, but the price they charged was absolutely OUTRAGEOUS! The backflow for my sprinkler system had a small leak in a 90 degree PVC elbow, and the technician, Jeff, quoted me a price of $391.35 for the repair, which I thought was WAY too much. Since I was between a rock and a hard place and could not take off work another day and could not afford to let the leak continue and face a horrendous water bill, I had no alternative but to let him do the work. He dug a small hole which was probably 2 to 2 1/2 feet square and probably 18 inches deep which exposed the leaking elbow, and he removed the box around the backflow. He used a small length of PVC pipe, a new elbow, and a small amount of Oatey PCV primer and adhesive to do the repair. I have purchased PVC pipe from Lowe's many times, and I know PCV pipe is very inexpensive. The cans of primer and PVC adhesive can be purchased for just a few dollars. In all, I would say he put $5.00 worth of material into the repair, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, I'll say it was $10.00. Now I'm no mathematical genius, but $391.35 minus $10.00 for materials equals $381.35 for labor charge, and it took him about an hour to do the repair. THAT IS THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY ONE DOLLARS AND THIRTY FIVE CENTS AN HOUR FOR LABOR CHARGE!!!!! REALLY????? THAT STAGGERS MY MIND!!! I told Jeff that I thought the price was very steep, and he proceeded to rattle off something about how the price of materials has gone up, and how that after expenses the company isn't really making all that much money. Oh, so the price of PCV and primer and adhesive have gone up THAT much??? Man, please!!! Sorry, but I find it MOST DIFFICULT to believe that! He also said that the company charges by the job and not by the hour. So what? That, in my opinion, does not justify charging these ridiculous prices. I have since talked to several people about this and they ALL agree that I was charged WAY TOO MUCH! I feel as though I have been gouged, taken advantage of, and treated very badly. Well like they say, you learn from your mistakes, and I have certainly learned my lesson. I will never again call West Plumbing Company to do anything for me! Rather than call West again, I would just do my OWN repair!

.The technicians arrived on site on time and began by using a camera to inspect the sewer line and pinpointed the exact spot to begin digging. Technicians Jeff and Kyle were very professional in locating the damaged pipe, digging around the area using extreme caution not to damage nearby water lines. They removed the cracked sewer line that had become clogged with roots and replaced the section with better connections and I was very impressed with the quality of their work. I would recommend Jeff and Kyle and West Plumbing and will certainly call them again should I need professional plumbing service

Scott was very competent. The leak was under edge of foundation, a very difficult access. He added a shut-off valve (convenience) and explained everything he was going to do. He has done jobs at my residence before. Very pleased w/Scott and company.

They are a very professional company. Gave me same day service and arrived within scheduled time. I don't have a problem with the price of the service performed. Second bath replace fill valve quoted at $137 and third bath replace wax ring was quoted at $273. They called back to the office to get this pricing so it wasn't a mistake. That is outrageous pricing. I only had them do the first bath once my wife called me at work with the pricing. I replaced the fill valve in second bath valve for $8.01 parts and 18 minutes from start to finish. The $273 pricing to replace a $5 wax ring and an hours work? Lowes will replace a whole toilet for $99. Guys you are a well run company but lets not get so greedy. You need to make money but a $615 quote for $25 in parts and two hours work for the total job.

The shut-off valve to my home had developed a leak and I had a very large puddle of standing water/mud right next to the house. I called West Plumbing the next morning and within a 2 hour window I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the plumbers were on their way to my home. Once they arrived they went right to work diagnosing the problem and gave me a quote. I gave them the go ahead and they worked diligently to fix the problem. They had to battle tall weeds and slosh through mud to get to the valve and then had to remove the standing water to take a closer look. Once my shut-off valve was replaced and the bricks put back down to protect it, Eli gave me clear instructions on how to use the new shut-off valve and he patiently answered all of my questions. Eli was very professional and courteous.

Noticed a leak on ceiling of bedroom below an upstairs toilet. Appears the leak has been there for quite a while. Brett came out and replaced the toilet seats in two bathrooms. In upstairs bathroom,, Brett pulled the toilet and noticed an old stain on a piece of wood, but nothing out of then ordinary which might cause the leak in the below bedroom ceiling. Brett suggested the only other option is to cut the ceiling and check to see exactly what is causing the leak. Will consider that and let them know if and when we want that done. Very impressed with the professionalism and work detail.

It needed to be done and they had to cut into the wall and replace all fixtures in the wall. They did a fantastic job.

First contact was via Angie's List, e-message response was almost immediate (on a Sunday). As it wasn't an emergency I said Monday contact was fine. I received a call Monday morning to schedule service which I did (at my convenience) for Tuesday after lunch. I received a call, on Tuesday around 12:30PM, from their technician who told me he was on his way and would that be good for me. Brett arrived about twenty minutes later. He put on shoe coverings before entering my home and then explained the cost of the job. He was very polite, professional and competent. The job was done quickly and correctly. He also explained costs and benefits of their Clout Membership. I opted to purchase the lifetime membership as I know I'll need plumbing work in the future. Brett also gave me an estimate to have some other work done that I am contemplating. I have used West in the past and have always been happy with their service.

Did not have any pressure in any of my hot water faucets. Called them up, and they immediately asked if I had my hot water dripping last night due to the freeze. Unfortunately, I only had my cold water dripping. They said it was most likely that the hot water line froze, so they recommended that I run a faucet for a bit and wait for it to unfreeze. Lo and behold, I was back up and running in less than 10 minutes and I learned a valuable lesson (up north the hot water heaters are usually in the basement, so I never had this issue). The fact that they walked me through instead of sending someone out to charge me shows the character of this place. If I have another problem, they'll be the first people I call. They technically weren't out here but I felt this warranted a review. Thanks again.

I called for an appointment late on the 16th and was offered the afternoon of the 17th. Dave called before arrival to confirm I was home and actually got here a little early. Didn't waste time...showed me the problems, explained the repair, quoted the price and quickly did the job. Very professional, very polite and eager to share ways to save money. I will definitely use West a Plumbing again.

Water was backing up into my tub and toilet so I called West for assistance. When I called at 9:30, they didn't have any appointments available. I was given the choice of paying the 5:00 after hours amount or waiting until Monday. I knew I couldn't wait until Monday, so I took the after hours appointment. Within a half hour, the receptionist called back and told me she could send someone between 1 PM and 3 PM. Of course I took that appointment. At 1:30, their technician Brett called and told me he was on his way. When he arrived he assessed the problem and did some checking and gave me a thorough report of the problem, he drew a picture of what was happening and gave me some choices, After we discussed the plan, he completed the work in a timely manner. He was personable, knowledgeable and seemed to care about my sewer problem.

Setting an appointment was very easy and prompt. The technician was very punctual when coming to the scheduled appointment. They looked at the work that needed to be performed and gave a quote within 5 minutes. Based on the research I did before they came to my house, it seemed to be a very fair price for what was being done. Scott let me look over his shoulder the whole time when he was working on the outside faucet and under the sink. He explained every step of the way when working on the two issues I had with the plumbing. Scott was very professional and exact when doing his work. I am a very detailed oriented person, so I liked that he made sure the outside faucet was sitting perfectly centered. He also went the extra mile to make sure the faucet was anchored to the wall and would not move when using the water hose. I strongly recommend West Plumbing to have any work done on your home. West Plumbing did excellent work at a very fair price.

Two workers from West Plumbing came to examine the plumbing in the house. They gave us a ballpark time of arrival of sometime after 3 PM. I prefer a more specific time. But, they arrived at about 3:45 PM, as I recall. So, we did not have to wait too long. They had been on other jobs earlier in the day, and looked like it. I guess if they had come in looking very clean I might have wondered about them. They told me they had been under three houses that day. Before entering the house, they put "booties" over their shoes so as not to mess up the house. They were very thorough. They took time to explain various things about the plumbing. The only problem we had was that the water in the toilet tanks was a little low in both bathrooms, and giving us some trouble flushing. They made a few small adjustments and solved the problem quickly. This was a one-time visit to do a full-house plumbing inspection with a one-time payment. We felt that this was a good deal.

Arrived on time, had the right equipment, wasted no time, completed in less than an hour at a very reasonable cost

Every word of my encounter with West Plumbing was completed, they were on time, they called prior to coming to inform me in advance & validate the appointment. The price was fair, they did the work & cleaned up the area. I am a single female, I know I paid for services rendered although peace of mind goes a long way as well.

Called on a Sunday and was able to get worked in that day. Because we have a lifetime membership we didn't have to pay the after hours fee. Scott came out and snaked the line several times and was able to determine that the septic tank was full and that we would need a different company to drain it. He was professional and very friendly, arrived at the time he said he would and did a thorough inspection and everything he could do to try and solve the issue.

On time and did the outside work, even though it was raining. Ensured a big mess wasn't made in the yard. Very professional in all aspects.
