Description of Work: The company came out and measured for 2 bath remodels. They quoted around $36k. I told them I had a budget of $25k and would they see where they could cut it down. Never heard from them again. Found another contractor, S&S Construction, who did it for $21,600. Great work.

Description of Work: Mr. Bump and his team provided me with a competitive estimate and were professional throughout the build. He was able to build exactly what I was looking for and customize provided blueprints with no extra charges. They also completed the project (two car garage with 800SF Apt over it) in minimal time (about a month). The project was completed quickly and exactly as discussed. Mr. Bump was also able to work with local inspectors to ensure they were happy with the planning and completion. I would definitely use Design Gallery again if I have the opportunity!

Description of Work: Re-built bathroom shower

Description of Work: Added a large closet and sitting room; also extension of our patio with pillars and beautiful overhang; bricks used were so like existing home that no one could tell it was an add on. Mr Bump and his crew worked like clockwork....each day someone was coming in to perform their work. An estimated time was given for completion and they met it easily. Highly recommend this company; advise given was not self-serving, but thoughtful and allowed us to look at alternative way of having the sitting room done and the patio....superb!!

Description of Work: Re-faced my kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

Description of Work: We have met with Robert (owner) and Todd (designer) numerous times to plan our kitchen remodeling and discuss details. Since my husband is disabled, we needed a "one-stop-shopping" outfit that would do -or subcontract- all the details. We planned to paint and glaze cabinets, add new hardware and trim to the top and bottom of the cabinets, add a custom made island, update the under-counter lighting, add recessed ceiling lights, change location of two ceiling lighting fixtures (new) , change the backsplash from ceramic tile to stone with original design , change the cooktop from electric to gas, refinish the dining table, replace the countertops with granite, remove some wallpaper and paint walls and ceiling, build an under-the counter framework for a new microwave, replace a trash masher panel, change the intercom placement, change all the wall switches and install dimmers, and make a number of other small changes. Robert and Todd like to get everything ready before coming in to change everything. This approach minimizes the time the kitchen is "torn up" so that plan sounded good to us. It worked out well, with only minor changes in the start time, work time, and day completed. The workers took pains to clean up behind themselves each day. Even after everything was finished and the final check paid, the owner came out to take pictures after I decorated it for Thanksgiving. He saw a detail that he didn't feel was up to his company's standards and made plans to send one of his employees over to change it. I was impressed with that, since I really didn't know it was not up to par. Robert and Todd are easy to work with, and very professional in everything they do. Most of the work is done "in-house", but their sub-contractors are people whose work they can trust. Remodeling a kitchen is one of the most difficult tasks to tackle, but Design Gallery made it almost fun and definitely satisfying. My husband and I are very pleased with the result and love showing the "before" and "after" pictures!

Description of Work: Provided an estimate to install a tile shower.

Description of Work: The Design Gallery helped us completely redesign and remodel two bathrooms, a new kitchen floor, and enclose a garage to make a new office/study. That included a new transition from the kitchen and a new entry from the outside. There were also other relatively minor tweaks and improvements inside the house to help make the new work blend in appropriately and seamlessly.
