Complete Renovation

Jerry B, the owner, responded to an emailed request for a quote within 8 hours, and come out promptly the next day. He understood what was wanted, and made a good suggestion as to how it could be done better, and faster. He emailed me a quote by close of business, which turned out to be lowest of four submitted. The workers arrived on the day agreed to, but was stymied from starting by an unpredicted rain storm. So they left the panels and went off to do an inside job elsewhere. They came back the first thing the next day, and completed the job in about seven hours. Jerry arrived as they finished up, checked out the finished work, and I paid him on the spot, at the quoted price. Overall, a great experience.

Hired Jerry to remove old fiber glass shower and make a tile shower in its place in 2013. Had numerous problems with leaking, Jerry finally came back when kitchen ceiling was about to cave in from water damage and ripped the shower floor up and rescaled it. About a month later the leak reappeared, kitchen ceiling again leaking. Jerry had his boys rip out the shower one more time and this time (3rd) put in the required liner, well this lasted about five months, when guess what? Another leak through the kitchen ceiling, now we are over a year into this project, he finally decides to send a guy out, this guy rips out the shower, and some tiles, and puts it back together horribly wrong, water is now standing inside the shower, about two inches because the drain is now the highest point in the shower, and the tiling job is armature DIY at best. So after much demanding on our part Jerry finally hires an outside company to fix his work, this guy actually does an ok job considering what he had to work with. Now I have my shower not leaking, but unsquare walls, (see pics), and a horrible patch job in my kitchen ceiling (see pics). Jerry now refuses to fix the ceiling because he has put too much money into the job already (not my problem). This guy should not be in the home renovation business, his work is below quality and he never checks the work his people are doing. I failed to mention is the botch job (2ndand 3rd) caused more damage to the ceiling making the horrible patch even worse. Have an apt with an attorney because the more I look at this unsquared shower and patch leak stained ceiling, the more upset I get.
