I would not recommend Royal Flush Plumbing to anyone. They overcharged for the installation of a 2 handle kitchen faucet and unclog a garbage disposal. $450 to install a $70 Delta kitchen faucet and $180 to unclog a garbage disposal. In addition, the plumber did not even know that the dishwasher was a portable dishwasher and tried to charge for a new supply line and stop. Plumber removed the dishwasher adapter from old faucet and failed to reinstall it on the new faucet making the dishwasher unusable. Royal Flush Plumbing Management was called to discuss the charges and concerns. Management was rude and unwilling to address the concerns or charges. I will never us Royal Flush Plumbing again and encourage you to stay away and find another plumbing company.

Although Royal Flush installed my drain field and coordinated with the Gwinnett county health department, I have had zero luck trying to get them to respond to my concerns regarding the exposed pipes in my backyard. I have explained the situation to them several times, but they claim that they are not responsible and have made a very poor effort to make this situation right. I have no complaint about their plumbing as I have had no issues with the sceptic system, but they left my yard in really rough shape! The ground was extremely uneven and shortly after completion I found multiple areas where the elbows connecting each run of drain field was exposed. Royal Flush plumbing do not seem at all concerned that we risk tripping over poo pipes any time we are in our back yard. I have not asked them to landscape my yard for me, but feel like the drain field should be underground and remain that way, at least for a while. As a customer that has given Royal Flush plumbing over $6000 worth of business, I feel like asking them to bury their work is within reason. I cannot recommend them to any of my friends or neighbors.
Description of Work: I have used Royal Flush Plumbing for several repairs since moving to Lilburn in 2011. This review is for specifically for a new drain field for my sceptic tank.

We had a clog somewhere in the system that was causing the toilet to backup into the shower and the tub. Gross...... Needed someone quick. Got a referral to Royal Flush and they fixed me right up. The plumber came and brought his machine to snake the pipe. He started going at it and then when I thought the problem was solved, he said it sounded like there was another clog. He kept going and I was watching in the top of the septic tank. All of a sudden there was a big woosh and a flood of water. He knocked out two big clogs in one visit. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They installed a new water heater. I found a couple of years later when I went to have a gas line run that the water heater was not properly installed, backwards was the term used by two different companies, they didn't pull the permits for the job, and I found that I was severely overcharged.

Sinks were installed successfully. Installer was not familiar with IKEA products but learned to follow instruction sheets. Installer persevered until all work was completed, including two trips to Home Depot for parts. Installer tested all sinks and drains for water leakage, including bath sink overflow drains. Company failed to send a plumber on the day promised, was late on estimate, and more than four hours late on install day, a major inconvenience. When we paid a 20% advance deposit to reserve a 10:00 am install on the next day, the vendor deliberately ignored the reservation. They sent the installer to another job instead.
Description of Work: Installed plumbing for three IKEA sinks, one kitchen and two bathroom. Installed food disposal beneath kitchen sink. Reconnected dishwasher.

Their customer service is horrible. They never return calls. They never meet the time estimate they give for having someone come to do repairs. Usually about 2 hours later than the end of the 2 hour time range given. I have spent hours waiting in my house for a call, a person, some kind of communication from them. I have a leak in my plumbing system which they cannot fix. I have had 3 service people out, at an expense of over $3000.00, to fix the same problem. It is getting worse with every visit. I started with a clean water leak on the floor and now have sewage in both bathtubs. They now say my drain fields and septic tank are at fault. After they sent a septic service to drain the tank. They want another $5000.00 to fix that. But, I have no "symptoms" of drain field problems, no soft spots over the field, no leakage. They say the snow melt caused the issue, but there is much less water than the torrential downpours of the summer. Possibly, they have no idea what the problem is, they are incompetent or are just stupid and rude. Or they are trying to steal money from me. But I am sick of them. I cannot speak to a manager, the women who answer the phone know nothing and the plumbers won't call back. I don't know who is running this place or how many people they are cheating, but I can't understand how they are still in business. I now have to take showers at the gym and take my laundry to a laundromat to avoid the sewage.
Description of Work: NOT fix a leak. Made it much worse.

It did not go well. The next day I called @ 8am to confirm the appt. I was told I was on schedule... it would be a few hours (as expected...11am). At noon I called again, and was again told, a few hours. After no contact, I called again @ 3pm, and I was disconnected after being immediately put on hold for 5 min each time. I called general contractor (someone I trusted that did my basement) who gave me the referral. He called and was told that they did not have the part needed for the fix (this was a leak detection, mind you), and that I was on the schedule for the next day @ 11am. I tried to call again to ask why I was not informed, but was again put o nhold and disconnected without speaking to anyone. I called the next morning (this morning) the fourth day of having no water after my initial contact. They confirmed that I was on the schedule for the leak detection between 11a-2p. I asked why no one called, and they said they were busy. Today @ 5pm, after an uncommunicated no show, I called back and asked why they had not kept their word, or at least communicated a change in schedule. I expressed my frustration that I was feeling led along and that I had been without water for four days. I was told that I "hurt her feelings" by suggesting that they would lead me along. That I should understand how hard they are working, with so many freeze breaks and that I should have a " a little more faith in them," and give them "a little more time...we should have someone out in a few hours." My opinion: work volume does not absolve a provider from their obligation to (at the very least) communicate changes in schedule and/or expectations. I asked them to please take me off the schedule and immediately called an "A" rated company on Angie's List near my home. I assume it will go better.
Description of Work: Provider came the evening deliver an estimate for an outdoor line break (between the meter and the house), that flooded the meter cavity and spilled water into the street and left the home without water. Came to the home and gave an estimate and an appt for the next day. Suggested a "leak find" inspection and mentioned the it would happen the next day close to 11a (after a ofc mtg), and they would fix the leak soon after.

Royal Flush was easy to get a hold of and did come on time. However, once they were finished roughly unclogging the pipes in our kitchen sick, we began to have major problems. The next door neighbors condo got flooded, along with the person that lives directly below her. Royal Flush is saying that they are not responsible. I would expect more from a company that claims to pride themselves on honesty, care and respect. I would not recommend Royal Flush to anyone.

I called about a leak from a bathroom tub/shower into the hallway. The guy was supposed to come between 3-5. He finally showed up around 7 and immediately cut two holes in my drywall. He determined the pipes were not leaking, so said it must be coming from the shower door, and he left. The next day I determined it was not coming from the shower door and so I called them back. They did send another person out and apologized for the first guy. This guy did determine the leak was coming from the faucet and that I needed to re-caulk the tub. He did say they would not charge due the problem the day before. I noticed the faucet leaked and I did ask if they needed to be replaced and he said no. So I did re-caulk the tub and it is not leaking on the hallway floor anymore . However, I still have a bathtub faucet that leaks. I am going to call another plumber to fix it and I also have to find someone to fix the two holes in my drywall.
Description of Work: He put caulk around the bathtub faucet.

I had posted a negative review of Royal Flush Plumbing Company back in July of last year, based primarily on a poor customer service experience. A few days ago I received an email from Mark Boudreau, General Manager of Royal Flush Plumbing. He had just read the review and was calling to see if there was anything he could do to help the situation. He gave his cell phone number and asked if I could please call him. I did call him, and I immediately became aware that he was really serious about proving his claim that he felt confident he could "make me a Royal Flush Plumbing customer for life." After talking for a while, Mr. Boudreau offered me a really great deal on some work I needed done on my house. I am supplying parts while his company is providing all the labor, a dollar value worth considerably more than the original amount I disputed in May of last year. In addition, he informed me that there have been some staff changes at the location from which I received such poor customer service, so that should not be a problem again. So today I am updating my rating of Royal Flush Plumbing to all A's. In my opinion, Royal Flush is an Excellent company and deserves the rating! When the GM of a company calls a customer who feels he was treated unfairly, that says a LOT about that company. When he puts his talk into dollars, he means serious business, and he has won a customer for sure!
Description of Work: Fixed stopped drain pipe at the washing machine. Workers replaced the main cast iron drain pipe under the house (about 15 feet of PVC was used as a replacement). They also replaced the washer drain pipe where it ties into the main pipe, and added a vent pipe to the sink drain.

We had a leaky toilet on our third floor. As explained to us it was due to a construction defect--the pipe that the donut set in was cut too low, There is no question that they fixed it, but the price was extreme. I've used them in the past, but doubt I will use them again--there are other companies out there just as reliable that seem more competitively priced.

They were very good. They were not as pricey and they actually worked with me on payments. I called and spoke to a lady and she sent somebody out to my home. The reason why I would say that their pricing is good is because at the time when I had my issue, I was in a bit of a financial bind. They made arrangements with me and they did the work. They trusted me and allowed me to make payments afterwards. The quality of the work was really good. They were quite responsive. They were punctual and professional.

I discovered we had a drain clog around noon (waste backed up into basement shower and toilet not flushing well). I called Royal flush, they had Dave at my house at 4 pm that same day and he cleared the grease clog. He even gave us tips on how to maintain the drain to avoid the problem in the future. They were very professional. They kept us informed of what they were doing and what it would cost. Even though they were sometimes late for their apt, they always called and if there was a problem they would keep us informed. When we had a problem after they were gone, they would come out and fix it free of charge. They guarantee they work. This is the second time I have used the and I will use them in the future.

The work was done competently enough, and the plumber and his helper were courteous. I have serious misgivings about the pricing. I am uncomfortable over the fact that this plumbing company which claims to have an office in Peachtree City within five miles of my home sent a plumber from Covington (Newton County), GA, a good 50 miles away, who, upon deciding a part he didn't have should be sought at Home Depot, needed directions to the local and nearest Home Depot. I have serious misgivings about having been charged $389 for supplying and installing a whole-house water filtration system on CPVC pipes (easier to work with than copper pipes) where (as I discovered later) the filtration system costs only $20 at Home Depot. The suggestion I install a whole-house filter was sprung on me by the plumber, so it is not as if it was my idea and I had lots of time to think about it, compare systems, check prices, etc. I was charged $250 for replacing the shower valve (which I furnished, after the plumber returned from Home Depot and indicated an alternative part he hoped to find there was not available), which required about one hour's labor. Delta faucets such as mine cost under $100 each so it's hard to understand how replacing a simple part in each (of two) would cost $274 when the labor required for each is about five minutes. At the end, I was presented with a form to sign which compelled me to "agree" that any legal action involving the transaction would have to be brought in Newton County, Georgia, and I consider that overreaching and puzzling (as our dealings were all in Fayette County, Georgia, and the company's main address [Waleska, as shown on its invoice] is in Cherokee County, Georgia). While the box for the filter stated that a timer was provided, the plumber stated there was none, and the information he provided on the cost of replacement filter cartridges turned out to be inaccurate. The jobs appear to have been well done. When the job was booked, the receptionist would not quote any prices, and I explained to her there was no urgency. I don't know why a plumber was sent from so far away and if the prices reflect the long distance the plumber had to drive: I obviously object to the inefficiency and extra expense of sending two workers to a distant job when the local and nearest office should normally be expected to respond.
Description of Work: Replacement of dripping shower valve (new valve provided by customer), repair of two leaky Delta faucets with rebuilt kits, installation of whole-house water filter (filtration unit costs $20 at Home Depot), clearing toilet jets and unclogging one sink (treated as courtesy items).
