Mark is the owner. They did an absolute horrible job. I have never had a bad experience with any business as I had with this one. I don?t want anyone to have a horrible experience like I did. We haven?t spent anything yet because we are disputing the bill and we are very dissatisfied with the service. It was supposed to be $700. I had a hot water heater go bad and it flooded my basement and about half the carpet was drenched. So, I called these people since I felt like I had done business with them before and I never had a bad experience. So, they came out within a couple of hours. They were very reasonably priced during my previous experience and so, I had no reason to believe that this would be an exception. They came, pulled the carpet up and sucked the water out of the carpet. They never gave me an estimate or anything. They used fans to dry the carpet. The guy who had come out said that he would be back the next day to check and see if the carpet was dry and to then put it back down. In the process, they just ripped the padding and left it sitting outside the door. He then came back the next day and said that my carpet was still wet. He told me that he would have to leave the fans there for another day and I said okay for that. He said that he would come back the next day to check it and to see if it was dry enough. He also said that he would go ahead and put the carpet back down if it was dry on Friday and February 1st was a Tuesday. It was February the 2nd when he came back the second time. However, he never showed up and the fans were still on. So, I went down there to see if the carpet was dry and it was dry. When he told me he was going to come, I figured out that he would just show up on Friday to put the carpet down because he had told me that he would be back at about 8 o?clock in the morning on Friday. I told him that it has to be in the morning because I had to go out of town that afternoon, but he never showed up to put the carpet back down. He never called up and the fans were still on downstairs. I then went out of town for the weekend. I called him on Monday and left a voice mail and said that I need to set up another appointment to have my carpet put back down. So, he called back and he asked me if there was something he could do for me. I told him that I left a voice mail for him and he said that he had to come back and do some work for me. I told him that his stuff was still here along with his fans and things. He then came out and took his fans and told me that he would be back on Wednesday morning to put my carpet back down. He then dropped his crew off on Wednesday morning to put the carpet back down. They had to move a bunch of furniture and they put it in an adjacent room. When they left, they never asked me to pay or anything, which I thought was really weird. I was standing there with a check and the guy looked at me with a check in my hand. He said that they were finished downstairs. He was supposed to clean the carpet as well and I didn?t know what the deal was. I then went downstairs and saw that they had not put back half the furniture in place. They had taken everything off the bookcases and just left them dumped on the sofa and half the furniture was still in another room. It was all over the carpet outside the door and I had to literally sweep the carpet to step above it to get back in. It was just horrible and there was no explanation or anything. The next day, I told my husband that I didn?t want those people back in my house. He called the guy and tried to settle up with him as to how much we owed him. In the meantime, I had a phone number come across on my phone that I didn?t recognize. I thought of calling back that number later, but it turned out that he had left me a voice mail saying that he was sitting next to my gate to come by and clean the carpet. He had not set up an appointment and he was already gone by the time I checked my voice mail. He had never mentioned any day that he would be coming by or anything of that sort. My husband called him asking him to send a bill. It was about $700 and he is disputing it because that guy made a huge mess and left. We are still in the process of sorting out how much the bill actually should be. I would absolutely not use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: We used the services of Daniels Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning Inc. on the 1st of February, 2011. They ripped the carpet off and then put it for drying. They were supposed to clean the carpet as well.

GREAT! Their service personals were very presentable and extremely nice. I was also surprised at their prices; they were $100 less than the last carpet cleaners. I looked them up on the internet and found a page on their website where they run "monthly specials". These will be the last carpet cleaners we call; I will refer them to anyone.
Description of Work: Daniels Carpet Cleaning cleaned my carpets and removed the bad pet odors we had in our basement. They got out some stains from our living room that other carpet cleaners left behind the last two times we had it cleaned.
