I wasn't real happy with their service. They had real louzy customer service. I really liked the guy when he came to give me an estimate. Then he would show up all the time at all hours. He would call me at 6:30am and say that he was coming. I told him that he needed to make an appointment. I did not like that. I was real disappointed in that. After I got the air conditioner, they called me shortly after and said that they were going to come out and do a maintenance visit. I said that they just finished putting it in. They said that it was a year from the time that they started. It was a free maintenance visit after the first year. It had only been six months. They said that the filters needed changing. They told me how much the filters were going to be. They said that the filter was $270. I looked online and the filter was only $100. They said they would look in to it and call me back. They sent me a bill and said that I had to pay it. I know that they overcharged me for that filter. I go with someone else now. The new guy charged me $198 for two filters and some other parts. That was even the allergen filter. Rivers air conditioning did not follow up like they were supposed to. I was not happy with the customer service and I would never use them again. They were not honest. Within three years, I have had to have three two parts replaced.

We had an old, undersized, badly installed central heat and air system. The return vents were sucking up dirt from the attic and passing it through the house. The ducts were dirty and leaking, the vents in most of the rooms were under-sized and badly placed. The air unit ran 24/7 in the summer, still barely cooled, and wouldn't heat in the winter. Rivers quoted me 3 levels of replacement units, good, better and best. We went with the middle range quote and added on that we wanted the entire old unit removed including every duct, return, pipe and drain. The sales process was smooth and Elliot was extremely cooperative. The install started on monday, when everything was pulled out of the attic and outside. By tuesday night we had heat, and everything was finished and tested on Wednesday. The installers were friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to clean up behind themselves and not make their presence any more intrusive than it obviously had to be. We were and are very happy with the results and with the crew at Rivers.
