+ -1 moreWe are very pleased overall with the service and the floor. They were able to come out promptly after contacting them for an estimate. The estimate was a little off than the final cost, but hey that happens. After we selected the wood, they ordered it and received it in a day. They had to wait on us to do the install, usually it's the other way around. It only took them a few hours to get the floors in and they look great! After they were finished, the installer took time to talk about floor care, baseboards, and what they did to make it look so good. He pointed out that whoever did the original wood floors in the rest of the house did a lousy job installing the shoe molding and the floor itself. The joints were very uniform, not random as they should be. I wish they would have installed the rest of the wood floors when the house was built!
Description of Work: We had the carpet in our master bedroom removed and wood floors installed to match the rest of the house. The wood floors in the hallway adjoining the bedroom meet the bedroom wood floors in the doorway. The color match is not perfect (we picked the wood not the service provider) but the mating of the two surfaces is good. They had a lot of trouble with an uneven foundation, but did a great job grinding it down to make for a nice even wood floor. They also installed shoe molding around the baseboards.
