West Cobb Sanitation

This company was not up front about all fees. I told the GM, (Merle), at West Cobb Sanitation that I planned to switch from my current trash removal company because my rate is going up in Jan 2016 from $23/mo to $25/mo. The GM at W. Cobb Sanitation quoted me their rate of $22/mo for trash and recycling pickup. He offered a $12 discount if I paid a full year in advance. He said the new trash cans would be delivered to my home in Jan. 2016 but never once mentioned a can rental fee. Based on his quoted rates, I said I would be switching companies. When I informed my neighbor, she asked if the $22/mo fee I was quoted included a $3/mo can rental fee. I said I was never informed of this fee. I called back and spoke w/ the GM again, who danced around the issue before admitting that their true fee is $25/mo. for trash and recycling pickup, (the same rate that my current company will be charging) Furthermore, West Cobb Sanitation's website states their rates as follows: "For just $20/mo...and optional weekly recycling for just $2 more with recycling bin". No mention is ever made on the website about a can rental fee of an additional $3/mo. I believe this is intentionally misleading.

I am very satisfied. They are always timely with pickups and do not turn anything down. If you put it out there, they will take it. They are always reachable via phone and I always speak to a person when I call.
