+ -1 moreWe complained to the nursery, requesting a refund. It took the two days to respond, and We were told "We are very sorry to hear that. You can return the package to us within 3 Business days of receiving it for a refund. We pruned your plant prior to shipping to prevent transplant shock, which is common when you DONT prune plants when transplanting them." The cost for shipping the tree back is going to be upwards of $40, which we won't be reimbursed for. I wouldn't recommend this nursery to anyone. I feel they are unethical.
Description of Work: We had ordered a Stanley prune tree, 8-9 ft tall. What we received was a 5 ft tree with most of the roots pruned off, leaving only 4 inches of root. Not even enough to stand the tree up in the hole, let alone enough to sustain and nourish the tree to survive.
