Danny Carden Plumbing

I left a note to Danny Carden Plumbing on Angies List late night on 7/15 and they called the next morning and came out on the 17th. A two man crew ready to find and dig down to the leak and repair but the line was buried too deep to locate with a shovel. We agreed to have a new water line installed raising it up off the basement floor, old line was about 7 ft deep. Scheduled for the morning of 7/22 and the same 2 man crew + Stewart Carden with a small track backhoe. Went right to work and by 2:30 I had a new water line, everything buried and smooth and cleaned up. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and that is the first number that I will call in the future.

I called Danny Carden Plumbing on 7/09/12 to have him come out to fix a leak in our toilet. He was very busy that day but said he could be out the next morning between 9 and 10. This was not an emergency situation so the next day was fine with me. He showed up a little before 10 and was finished in about 30-40 minutes. He had to replace a few parts where the water for the toilet turns on and off. The leak has been repaired and all is right again. Very pleased with the service and would call him again for future needs.

We discovered a leak in our outside line. My husband started digging to find the water line. I contacted Danny Carden Plumbing on a Saturday, and he was willing to come but had to wait until the afternoon. After further digging, my husband found that our line was encased in concrete. I called Danny back and told him that it would be more work than anticipated, maybe we should just wait until Monday to ensure we had enough time before it got dark. The crew was there on time and had all equipment needed. A jackhammer was used for an hour with little progress. An excavator was then mentioned as a tool, but it would cost $1000 (not to mention the damage on my flowerbed and sidewalk). My husband decided that he would work on the jackhammerring with a hired worker. After 3 more hours of jackhammerring, the concrete was finally broken. We called Danny's plumbing back out to set the line. They came within a couple of hours of being called. The cost was $65/hour plus parts. We were charged the initial one hour of jackhammerring and one hour for repairing the pipe. I was amazed at other people that I contacted who were not interested in taking on the "hard" job. Danny Carden Plumbing is now our new go-to plumber.
