WE ARE A FULL REFINISHING AND REPAIR SHOP THAT CAN RESTORE PERIOD ANTIQUES TO REGLUING KITCHEN CHAIRS. ON SITE REPAIR AND TOUCH-UP IS PROVIDED ALONG WITH RECANING SEATS AND BACKS. OUR HOURS HAVE CHANGED FOR 2015! WE WILL BE OPEN THE FIIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 8:30 TO 5:30. WEEKDAYS WE ARE OPEN FROM 7:30 am to 6:30 pm MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. Description of Work: I spoke with them by phone on June 28th, emailed photos as requested to receive an estimate. He was genial and told me to "be patient" regarding the return of an estimate, suggesting that it would probably be 5 or 6 days, but no more than a week, before I would hear from them. I told him I understood (and did take into account the July 4th holiday weekend). By the end of last week (July 10th) I had yet to hear from them, even after calling and leaving a message on their machine, have not heard from them as of today, July 14th. While I have no doubt that they would likely do a good job, the communication speed is not really what I had been expecting. I will not be using them, and have gone with someone else.

I am so sorry that we did not respond to your email. I was on vacation the week of June 28th thru July 6th. And was back to work on Monday, July 7th. My brother and sister who help me run our shop were here, but both were very sick with some type of sinus infection/head cold that frankly knocked them for a loop! Basically nothing that should have been done that week got done, but they did manage to work through the week sick. I have spent last week (July 7th thru the 13th) basically picking up the pieces and trying to catch up while they recovered from being sick as dogs! Whenever you call our shop, you are always dealing with a Williams. Myself as President of our company, or my sister Valerie, who is the Vice President, or our brother Niles, who is in charge of our repairs. There is no good excuse for our not responding to this customer, and again I am sorry that Valerie and Niles dropped the ball. Although I did want to explain the unusual circumstances, because that is not the norm at our shop. I am glad that this customer found another company to assist her with her project. And I want to assure her and other customers reading this that this incident is not something that normally happens at our shop. I also want to point out that no work at all was done for this client, out of all the reviews that we have on Angies List since 2006, this is I believe the 4th negative review that we have, all given by people who were not customers! ( No work was ever performed by us for them.) Our parents founded the company in 1964, and for fifty years we have been serving the metro Atlanta area, and for the 35 years that I have been involved, we have always strived to do our best in the work we do, which is why I think that we have earned Angie's Super Service Award for 8 consecutive years. Very impressed with his work.
Description of Work: Refurnished an old round table and a couple rocking chairs, one desk chair, and the top end table, as well as some other furniture. He also helped me move a table from our second floor to my first floor. Polished some furniture for me as well.
