I cannot speak highly enough of this company and Nathan Williams. From start to finish, every aspect of the service was ab fab! I highly recommend this refinish/repair company.

Nathan Williams was absolutley fabulous. He over-delivered. I would give them an A+ for the way they explained the process to me, they had everything finished early, and when Nathan delivered it all back to me, he took the time to explain how I should treat the wood periodically. I was so impressed and thankful!

I found Williams Furniture Repair on Angie's List and couldn't be more satisfied. This family-owned business was a pleasure to deal with. They were pleasant, very reasonably priced, and the repair was completed when promised. In addition, they were genuinely interested in helping me get my problem resolved. I enjoyed dealing with both Niles and Valerie and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing the services this company provides. Another plus is they are Open on Saturdays!

Williams furniture repair handled everything. First they communicated to me everything they needed to begin. Secondly, they picked up my damaged furniture exactly when they stated they would. I was given a time frame for the return and they not only meet but exceeded my expectation on both delivery and quality of work. My table and chairs looked brand new. I have already recommended them to two friends.

Antique restoration is no easy task. I have known others who have attempted DIY projects and would NOT recommend it. I found Williams Furniture Repair on Angie's List and could not be more pleased with the craftsmanship, knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy of its people. Nathan was a HUGE help in providing background knowledge and discussing the best resolution option (meaning restoration or refinishing) for each furniture piece. Valerie also guided me in locating intricate hardware pieces to complete my set. Having had antique restoration and refinishing work in the past, I understand that superior craftsmanship cannot be rushed and takes time. I was promised a two month work commitment. The pieces were completed and delivered on schedule. The price was more than fair when compared to my dealings with other companies in the past. I definitely plan to use Williams Furniture Repair for all my future furniture repair needs.

This was an "antique" finish -- a painted table top that contained texture and also allowed the underlying cherry wood grain to show through faintly. The table top refinishing job had to match the table's legs, chairs and a baker's rack, all of which were similarly finished but not needing refinished at this time. Williams did a terrific job. The refinishing was a multi-step process of stripping then various paints being matched and applied to achieve the desired result. The refinished table top's texture was true to the original and the hues an extremely close match. Couldn't ask for more! I thought the cost was very fair given the complexity of the job. It included pick up and return of the table. Williams had previously done smaller, simpler furniture repair for me, which also was well done.

An air-conditioning unit dripped condensation water on my nearly 100 year old vanity, once belonging to my grandmother, nearly destroying the veneer. Williams had just finished a previous project for me, so I had absolute confidence in letting them repair this old treasure. When they returned it, it looked beautiful. All the old nicks & scars had been removed and it looks as it did when it was new in the store in the 1930's. They are wonderful to work with, and take pride in their business. I recommend them to anyone with an old family treasure that needs to be restored!

Quality of work was good to excellent. Six large pieces plus three mirrored panels so took some time.

Went well. Nathan and his assistant arrived when scheduled and wrote and estimate for the dining room chairs. Then fixed support on recliner.

Years of wear and kitchen grease and oils were removed at a fraction of the cost of stripping and refinishing the cabinets. The rooms now 'pop' like they did when we first boughrt the house. Years of experience and a myriad of cleaners and touch-up supplies were used to ceate a professional finish.

Nathan did a beautiful job on our massive bedroom suite. It looks brand new. He was prompt and professional. He did such a great job, that we asked Him to refinish some additional pieces from my childhood home. We are very pleased . M. Morrow

When I stated that I didn't think my old porch rockers were worth the price they were charging, the person on the other end of the phone got insulting, and said, " Well, let's just see how that stripper at $50 a gallon works for you." I was stunned. I never suggested their work or price was high, just that my old rockers weren't work it. Heck, I could go to Brumby and get a brand new rocker for $750. Just because I got a smart mouth response, I would never go to them, even if they coated my porch rockers in solid gold. I was just a customer asking questions. I do not pay my money for services to people who insult me. No one needs to insult their customers. I could not recommend them even if they do spectacular work.

They came on time and were very pleasant and knew exactly what to do.

I called & spoke with Nathan ( I believe) & explained what I had. He gave me a date when he could come out and look at an old cedar chest that had been painted black. Also, it had been in my basement. Even though it had been covered, some cat urine had gotten into the wood on the feet. We agreed on a price, and they took the chest. A few weeks later, they called & said it had been stripped, and would I like to come to the shop & pick out a stain. Even unstained, I was amazed how beautiful it already looked. I went with the stain they recommended. About a week or so, they called to say it was finished. When it was delivered, it honestly took my breath away, it was so beautiful. As luck would have it, while my cedar chest was in their shop, an overhead air conditioner dripped water water on my old grandmother's vanity & damaged the wood. So, when they dropped off the cedar chest, they picked up the vanity & accompanying bench. I HIGHLY recommend them. They do fabulous work!!!

Perfectly. He even ran ahead of the estimated time. I can't wait to save money and have him try to fix another piece of furniture.

The service was incredible! I sent pictures in an e-mailed and asked for an estimate for one piece of furniture. I received a response the next morning and was pleasantly surprised with the estimate so I asked to scheduled a pick-up. Since I work full time M-F I was also pleased they were able to pick up my furniture on Saturday. When Mr Williams arrived to pick up my recliner I also asked for an estimate on the rocker. The estimate was reasonable and the cost for both pieces was lower than I expected for one piece. I knew from reading the reviews on Angie's List that the turn-around time was not quick, but then I wasn't as interested in quick as I was in quality repair for my Stickley pieces. I was given an estimate of 6 weeks or so, and they were finished right on time. Again, they were able to deliver the furniture on Saturday. When they arrived and pulled the pieces out of their van I was absolutely shocked and amazed! I couldn't tell the furniture was ever damaged. The repair work was a true work of craftsmanship from the very skilled crew at Williams Furniture. I offer only the highest recommendation for Mr. Williams and his fine staff at Williams Furniture!

Williams Furniture Repair performed old style craftsmenship with fair prices and reasonable time frames. All work was excellent. They are highly recommended.

Everything went well. I called, showed pictures, they picked up the bed, and dropped it back off. I was soooooo happy. Everyone I worked with was wonderful, and they kept me posted o every step of the process.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they came to our location. The table looks beautiful again and we are very pleased with their professional service.

They did a good job. The price was more than fair and they had the piece ready when they said they would. I will definitely use these guys again. Their turn-around time isn't exactly overnight - probably because they are so back-logged with work - but I felt they were worth the wait.

Mr. Williams was very careful in protecting my house and furniture and ensured that my house was pristeen when he left. I highly recommend his services and plan to use him again very soon.

Overall a good experience. Paying so much though, I think they could give a break on the pickup and delivery charge.
