Sudlow Concrete

I am very glad that I decided to hire Sudlow Concrete. Bill came out and did an initial estimate to take a look at our driveway. Bill was very responsive and was very punctual to the our initial consultation. When he drove up, he knew exactly what needed to be done, and explained it to us in great detail. He was immediately on top of the needed to be done. He gave us a very accurate time expectation of when the work would be completed. He made sure all of the prework preparations were taken care of prior to the work being started. He had the dumpster dropped off, and had the utility company come out and mark the lines. Bill showed up with his crew right on time and got to work. We were very impressed on how professional and on top of the project Sudlow Concrete was. They did an amazing job! I would recommend Sudlow Concrete to anyone looking for any type of concrete work around their home.

Sudlow concrete is a great company. Would recommend to anybody. Mr. Bill Sudlow came out and gave me a fair quote. Date was set . They were on time and got the job done in 2 days. They removed the old drive way, no damages were done to my flowers. Very professional. They guys did a great under Bill's watchful eye, great job. They cleaned up after they were done, no mess was left behind. I love, love my new drive way.

His crews were very diligent and the finished driveway is exactly what I expected. Bill oversaw the entire process and his crews were fast, competent and professional. I would recommend him to anyone thinking about doing some concrete work. I had a long sloping driveway and it looks great. His pricing was reasonable not the lowest but not the highest. Seemed like a reasonable price for what was needed to be done. I would utilize Sudlow again if I had concrete work to be completed.

Bill Sudlow came out to our house and gave us a very fair price. We interviewed several other companies, and although some prices or close to Bill price, we felt that Bill was a man of reputation and was going to do what he said he would do. He exceeded our expectations and all he asked was that we tell other people if you did a good job. So we are telling other people he did a great job, and it would only make sense if you are looking for a new driveway or any concrete business that you give Bill a call today. We are the most satisfied of all customers. Thank you Bill for such a beautiful job. On top of all that when asked if we should make the driveway wider ( More expensive) Bill said no the size I told you to use is the right size. He was absolutely correct.

They completed the job in less than a day. They arrived on time, set up the forms, made some changes to the forms that I requested, poured the concrete and finished the concrete. If they did not need to wait for the concrete truck, they would have finished sooner. It looks great.

Bill Sudlow is a man of his word. He and his crew arrived on time. They got to work and finished quickly. Did a great job. I was struggling with making a decision regarding resurfacing or replacement. Replacement was definitely the way to go. We have a nicely finished product with the correctly placed joints. I would definitely recommend Sudlow Concrete.

This was a very professional job. Bill Sudlow contacted me quickly after my initial email. He came out to my home on a Sunday AM to give me a quote on the job. Today he brought his entire crew. All were very professional, neat, and worked quickly. My new patio looks wonderful!

Will not work in the city of Atlanta or Inman Park area.

I met with Bill Sudlow on the 25th. to lay out the new driveway. He poured the driveway ( 1,400 S.F.) the next day. They removed all the forms and cleaned up before they left. The concrete finish is perfect! This was the best investing towards curb appeal I could've made. We are very happy!!!!!!!!

We are so happy we selected Sudlow Concrete to replace our driveway. It looks better than we envisioned.......thanks to an amazing crew that was self-motivated, professional and seemed to enjoy working together (without loud,booming music). Mr Sudlow was available for questions as he was on site most of the time. They showed up on time and cleaned up before leaving, even pressure washed the red clay that got on the street. They paid attention to detail and were quick to respond to any requests or changes. I`ve never seen such a hard working crew!! THANK YOU.

On time did job beautifully fair price work looks good after a year very responsive returning calls. A plus.

He did not assess driveway but rather more interested in sitting down inside to write up an estimate. He asked me for name, address and phone # to put on quote--all info he already had. Then he gave me this ridiiculous estimate. I had had 2 other companies tell me they would have to charge me their minimum ($2000) so I know it is a small job. . A1 would replace my entire driveway for $5600!

Bill was very responsive to a phone call for a quote & came out to give an estimate the next day. I tried contacting via his website earlier in the year but did not receive a response so I would recommend phone calls only. The quote was reaonsable & he took pictures to review with the project manager prior to starting the project. It took a couple phone calls to get the work scheduled but it was started within 2 weeks of the initial quote. The crew arrived on time and were professional. They worked hard all day and finished the project in a single (long) day. I was home so I could check in and provide feedback during the day as they completed the forms. The finished product is high qualtiy and looks great. I'm very pleased with their work.

Sudlow is our family concrete company of choice! They poured a turnaround driveway for my father a couple of years ago and their work was as beautiful today as when it was freshly poured. When we needed work done there was no question, Sudlow was who we wanted. We had walkway poured from our driveway to a side entrance. Since it cuts through our front yard it was important that it look super nice. It is gorgeous! Bill and his crew laid out very graceful curves and the finish work is very pretty. They have a way of patterning the concrete with sweeping and a trowel that I have only seen on really high end projects. Not your average concrete work. We also had a large pad poured in our back yard. There was a problem with the truck cracking our driveway (which already did have some cracks) but Bill made it right and gave us a discount on pouring an entirely new one. That came out gorgeous as well. Sudlow's prices are fair and the give a great product. We will use them again if we ever need concrete work and highly recommend them. One other note. These folks are the happiest work crew I have ever seen. Bill must be treating his employees right. Happy workers=a great job.

Mr. Sudlow gave me the best price for the work to be done compared to two other estimates. He was on site with the staff throughout the whole process. He and the staff were very prompt and professional. The old driveway was removed and the concrete was taken to be recycled for future use. The new driveway and patio are just what I wanted. He included a 5 year warranty which gives me peace of mind. Two of my neighbors liked his work and had him replace their driveways as well.

Contact was via his cell and he had to call back since he was driving. Called back and set time on a Sat. to see job site and provide estimate. (I am not sure of the date) Never showed and no callback. Too busy I guess. I went with a different contractor - not on Angies List.

Poject was delayed due to rainy and cold winter weather however when Sudlow got started they worked continuously to get the job done even when it started to rain (they worked under tarps). The work crew ws highly experienced and showed outstanding craftsmanship. Work went very smoothly and Bill Sudlow did a good job keeping us informed. He was very polite and professional. My only regret was that I did not pay enough attention to how the cement work would impact our drainge and ended up creating some water trap areas which I'll need to fix by burrowing under the new walkway with a 4" drain pipe- lesson learned for the future.

Perfect. Everything was to the exact specs that Bill Sudlow himself had provided after coming out and giving me an estimate and explaining what he recommended and why. His crew paid attention to detail and put down an attractive, functional sidewalk-sized walkway with a nice, easy curve. They leveled the ground before pouring the concrete, and Bill explained that if there were any cracks, any problems whatsoever in the coming months, to call an they would come back out and fix or redo anything.

Mr. Sudlow and his team was vey professional and did an excellent job of removing and the replacing the walkway to our home. Hr and the team arrived on time and completed the project in the timeframe that he gave us. In the end the work was even better than I anticipated it to be. I would highly recommend Sudlow Concrete for you needs.

The whole process went quite well. Bill showed up on time a week earlier to review the work to be done and wrote up a proposal then and there. I needed to replace the front steps because I had a waste line from the house to the septic tank replaced and that required partial demolition of the steps to access the line. Besides that, the steps were over 50 years old and had begun to sag and separate and looked pretty bad. Even though Bill's proposal was quite reasonable, I planned to get maybe one or two other estimates. However, after playing "phone tag" with a couple of other outfits and and one no call back, I decided to go with Sudlow because of the A rating on Angie's List, Bill's showing interest in doing the work, and his cost estimate. Initially, Bill said it would be after Thanksgiving before they could do the job, but he called on the Friday before and said they could come Monday the 25th. That Monday morning, the container used to haul off the old concrete arrived a little before 8:00 a.m. and Bill's crew showed up about 15 minutes later as scheduled. The crew immediately set about removing the old steps using a bobcat to lift the steps up and dump the old concrete into the container. The crew worked efficiently removing debris, building the forms for the concrete and related tasks. Bill was on-site almost the whole time and answered my questions and addressed any concerns I had as the job progressed. The cement truck was about an hour and half late, arriving around 1:00 p.m.There was some urgency in getting the cement poured as rain was forecast for that evening. The crew continued to work diligently, pouring the concrete and then using floats to smooth the surface and a stiff brush create ridges in the center of the steps for traction. Around 4:00 or so, the concrete had cured to the point the forms could be removed and any remaining rough areas smoothed out. The job was completed around 5:00. The work area was clear of debris and Bill then made the decision to cover the steps with plastic as rain was imminent. The plastic remained on the steps until Wednesday and were OK to walk on by Thursday. Overall, I am pleased with the result.

Working with Sudlow Concrete was one of the best experiences I have ever had working with any contractor. I was overjoyed to find that what I really wanted, I could actually afford. They arrived on time, worked steadily, finished a full day early and the end result looked ten times better than even I had envisioned. I am extremely happy with my new patio.

I really can't say enough about how impressed I was with Bill Sudlow. I called him and two others I got from Angie's List, and Bill was the first one to respond and gave the lowest estimate. Once I decided to go with him, he walked me through the permitting process. Since I'm in the city of Atlanta, it was a bit of a hassle, but Bill and his expediter handled the entire process efficiently and professionally. He gave me frequent updates, which I appreciated. Once the permits were issued, I had an issue that forced me to postpone the job for a little while. Bill was great and worked with me and my schedule until I was ready to go. Once we could move forward, Bill scheduled the job within a week, showed up early, and he and his crew got to work right away. It was a two-day job, and Bill explained everything to me before they got going and personally supervised the entire job. The estimate was bang-on, and the job was completed on time. Like I said, I can't recommend him highly enough! 100% satisfied. How often can you say that these days?

My experience was excellent. Sudlow concrete elivered first class on all of their promises. The team doing the work was excellent and were both hard working and worked well together. The driveway looks beautiful. Bill Sudlow was on the site for the entire job and kept me informed on what was going on. All of the folks were friendly and courteous. In fact, my 10 year old son told me how nice the workers treated him. It made a big impression on him.

Tried communicating with this company first via email--request to be contacted for quote. Then last Friday I called-he answered said he was with a customer and would call back shortly. Never called me. Oh well. I guess he does not need the work. Would not waste my time with this firm.

Arrived early and worked quickly and cleanly. Did exactly as promised. Nice finish on the slab of the driveway.
