I was disappointed that more sections were not done. The work that they did do was great. I did need to get the work done in time for our insurance to renew and that was a requirement from the insurance company. I appreciated their responsiveness.

Well done. I've waited a bit long to review, but only because I wanted to see how the repair held up through a couple of winters. So far so good.

Couldn't be more pleased. The Sudlow crew showed up when they said they would and over a two day period - wasted no time getting the job done. The driveway looks better than it did when it was originally new.

Bill Sudlow, Owner of Sudlow Concrete, has a staff of concrete artisans who crafted a beautiful driveway for us! They are truly "perfectionists" who can all be proud of their excellent work. The crew worked amazingly well together as a team with one goal in mind - to complete a fine driveway without flaws. They blew off all dust caused by sawing the concrete floor at the edge of our garage. Cleanup during and at the end of the project was thorough. The junction of the garage floor and the driveway is now a straight, smooth line. They blew off any leaves that fell on the surface during the installation process. The edges of the driveway are far more attractive than we envisioned when we contracted for the work to be done. We are extremely pleased! Sudlow Concrete is licensed and insured. Aaron came and looked at job he answered all my questions and gave me an estimate. They scheduled the job and the crew came early each day and went to work,. They removed whole driveway and garage pad and leveled the area. It took three days but each day they were here on time and did a great job. They did a picture frame and it looks special. They cleaned up and left it looking 100% better and we are very happy with our choice.

Sudlow did a great job. We had already had our driveway repoured, only 12 years ago by another company. No matter who you use, it's an expensive job, and we wanted to make sure we chose the right company who would do it properly this time. The owner met with us, explained how the process went, and gave us the reassurance that it would be done properly. They explained how they would be taking out the old concrete on the first day, but pouring the new concrete the next day - to ensure the temperatures were good. It was interesting to see the old concrete pulled up, because it became clear that the previous company had not poured enough thickness, which explains why the old driveway was cracking within a couple weeks of them pouring. We even had another added-on section from another company to compare to. Not only is this driveway from Sudlow poured to the proper thickness, but they finished it off nicely on the surface, and where it meets the street has a nice edge to it. We waited a long time to fix our old cracked-up (almost gravel in places) driveway, and I'm very pleased with the finished driveway from Sudlow. I would definitely recommend them.

The men were at my house promptly at 9 am and completed the work by noontime. My porch is now tilted very slightly away from my house so that the water doesn't run toward the house when it rains.

We had our long and wide driveway replaced and made slightly bigger. I got bids from 4 different companies and Sudlow's price was not the highest or the lowest. However, I liked Bill. His explanation of what he would do and how he would perform the job just made an impression in my mind. I was debating between Sudlow and another well-recognized company whose price was lower. I could have hired the other company, but I called Bill and he was able to come down on his price half-way. Again, I liked Bill and felt like I could trust him. I thought that many things can go wrong in a big job like a concrete driveway. I wanted someone whom I could count on if something went wrong to stand by their work and provide excellent post-job service. The entire job (of approximately 5000 sq. ft.) took 3 days. First day 4 guys came and took out our old driveway and outlined our new driveway. We decided to enlarge certain areas (which was additional cost since it was more than the original estimated area). Again, I felt he was fair in his pricing. He didn't try to take advantage of the fact that I was making changes at the last minute. When the crew was putting down the new shape with wood boards (which was done beautifully), I made them redo it a few times because I felt that it wasn't as wide as I wanted. They redid the outline without any complaints. They also installed additional conduit lines without extra cost when the Comcast installer happened to come by and told me that it would be nice to have a conduit line for Comcast. In fact, they installed 4 conduit lines without me asking for it! We found an old wood retaining wall base board which was not taken out and they removed it. During the job, they realized that the ground near my house needed to be graded better so that water doesn't go towards my house. They put in a drainage pipe (and put in one extra for future use) which went under the driveway and drained out onto the side of my property. They crew came on time every morning and everything got finished as scheduled. On the 3rd day, it was incredible -- about a dozen crew came at 6am to pour the concrete and got it all done by mid-afternoon. More importantly, after they left, I had a question about the new concrete covering the edges of our sewer clean out metal cap lid in the driveway. I called Bill and left a message, and he called me that same evening. He was willing to come out but told me that it's normal and that any plumber will be able to access it. He said that if a plumber had problems getting it off later, he'll come back and get it done for me as long as he is in business. My new concrete driveway is absolutely beautiful! It looks like it's been graded properly so that we won't have any standing water and the water will drain away from the house (although this haven't been tested since they just finished). In any case, I am so glad I decided to hire Sudlow Concrete --- with their years of experience in this business, and responsiveness of Bill, the owner, I'm confident that they will stand by their work! (They have a 10 year warranty!) They did a beautiful job - put in plenty of conduit lines, expansion joints, drainage pipes, and graded the driveway for proper water drainage --- all things I don't know enough to ask for, but they just did it. Thanks Bill and crew --- you guys have done a PHENOMENAL job!!!

Mr. Sudlow, Too bad for you that I had a lousy night sleep. I was already irritated, but the fact that you called THIS MORNING to cancel our appointment because I am not in your service area really makes me mad. I scheduled this appointment a week ago. It was some inconvenience for me to keep our appointment today, but I really needed these projects done. Now you have delayed me a week in getting them done. For this reason, I will be giving you a failing grade on Angie's List. Ann Langley

The Sudlow representative was quick to make an appointment and arrived right on time. He was very helpful to give me options for the work I needed. There was never any attempt to upsell or over sell. He gave me an estimate on the spot for the work. Once I decided to use Sudlow, the work was scheduled for the next week. Because I live on a very busy street, they made the effort to bring their trucks in very early in the morning to prevent traffic problems. It was done on time and as expected.

Sudlow came through with the lowest bid by just a bit, but that's not why we chose Sudlow. The company owner came by to do the bid in person. He helped us understand how the entire process would take place, including how long we would be without the use of our driveway. Sudlow included PVC pipe underneath the driveway for future wiring or plumbing. Our brick walkway , which leads to our front door, had been cracked and broken for years. It needed 2 bricks replaced and some mortar work. They fixed it at no extra charge. More impressive was the fact that it rained shortly after the first section of concrete had been poured. The rain left parts of the concrete looking a bit rough, but , "no big deal", I thought. They never asked me what I thought about it, Sudlow simply tore out a very large portion of the new driveway, hauled it off, then poured new concrete in its place. I never thought of folks in the concrete business as being perfectionists, but these guys are!

They were absolutely professional. They knew what they were doing. They were very considerate and answered all my questions. On top of all that, I got more for my money than if I had gone with two other bids I received.

The Sudlow Team was very easy to work with. The steps in the process went exactly as they said. In addition the Sudlow Team took care to move some obstructions we had in the driveway and then place them back. I was impressed with the speed but also quality of the work. Our new driveway looks great. And the Sudlow Team helped to make one end of our driveway even more useful with the grade of the drive.

They were very professional from beginning to end. From quote to finished product was much quicker than expected. Was not the lowest quote, but certainly not the most expensive either. Took time to explain the entire process making us comfortable hiring them for the project. Crew was very quick and professional and left the yard perfectly clean when finished. Will definitely be using again when our next concrete product comes up.

Starting with the meeting to provide the estimate, the Sudlow team was a pleasure to work with. Arriving punctually at the appointment time, within a few minutes I had a written estimate which was considerably less than another highly rated contractor. They cooperated with my schedule, which was a tight window. A warning, when they say they need the garage door up at 6 am, they don't mean 6:15. As I raised the garage door at 5:58, I could see the crew arriving. The concrete trucks were on the scene just a few minutes later. The team worked quickly and efficiently to complete the driveway by lunch. My new driveway not only looks terrific, but the care they took in sloping the driveway and parking pad should also improve the drainage. From start to finish the team was professional and turned what could have been a nightmare into a very positive experience. I most highly recommend them.

On Time from the beginning. When Sudlow came out to look at what we wanted to the day of prep, and day of pour - all on time as promised! Do call them, this is a very professional group and you should be as pleased as we are too.

I contacted Sudlow Concrete to quote a small job. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism over the phone. They were punctual and took time to again discuss the job before getting started. The team was very attentive to detail and worked quickly but carefully. I am very pleased with the final result and would not hesitate to use them again.

WOW. Sudlow is absolutely everything a business should be; professional, quick, clean, and with a product of surpassing quality. They replaced my terrible, old, broken-up driveway and not only made it nice ? they made it nice enough for outdoor dinner parties. Additionally, I was just astounded by the service. They not only anticipated my needs, but they solved tricky problems in creative ways without sacrificing aesthetic or exceeding our budget. It was a project I had been dreading for years to start but Sudlow made it easy and stress-free. I even waited to submit this review to be sure there were no surprises - and there were not. I would definitely recommend Sudlow based on the quality of the product, the care they put into their service, and the expertise demonstrated by every employee.

The crew was punctual despite rain which nonetheless caused a delay, so they had to return a second day--and were again punctual. Without a doubt, the crew worked really hard, worked well together, and the finished product looks great. We are happy and have already gotten lots of compliments. I should note that the workers left 2 containers with nails, a roll of string, a few pieces of wood, some concrete dust on grass, and maybe 8 empty (or almost empty) drink containers. Also, we can still see a color change in the area where they switched from the 1st two truckloads of concrete to the 2nd two (and in one other area), but I'm assuming that will fade away. As long as water goes in the planned directions when we get rain, we'll be happy. (I was waiting for a good rain so I could comment on this, but we've not really had much since the work was done.)

Excellent work. They went above and beyond my expectations. I am totally satisfied with work and they beat everyone's quotes.

We recently had our driveway replaced by Ludlow Concrete. The price was fair and the owner sat down with me and explained the details of the price and the procedure. Other contractors had given me a verbal quote standing in my driveway. When I am planning a job like this that will be costly and involved, I prefer a written quote and time to discuss the details. The scheduler stayed in regular contact with me. The removal/installation date is dependent on weather. They worked with my schedule and patiently came up with a date that worked. Then, when they had a cancellation, they were able to work me in sooner. Due to impending rain, they decided to work a longer day and do the removal and installation in one day. I was skeptical. But they were terrific. I watched a lot of the process. At no time was any one of them idle. They worked together like a well oiled machine. The removal was quick - but not messy. Very little of our yard was torn up because of machinery. I thought there would be significant damage. But there was only some flattening of monkey grass - which can survive almost anything. and is already recovering a day later. After the concert was poured, the workers were careful to avoid any footprints and the expansion lines look like they were put in by machine. Several neighbors have stopped by to compliment the new driveway. It really improves the overall impression of our older house. I am very pleased with the work and highly recommend Sudlow Concrete!

The original work was done in 2014. I contacted Sudlow Concrete from Angie's List and the owner answered the phone and set up an appointment to give me an estimate for the next week. He showed up exactly on time and we walked thru what I wanted. He made some suggestions and listened to my input. He then gave me a quote and we agreed on a date to get started. Once again, the crew showed up exactly as promised and began work. Everything was coordinated perfectly. The dumpsters (it took 2) were delivered and in place when his crew showed up. They got the old driveway broken up and into the dumpsters very quickly and with very little mess to the surrounding area. I asked for an estimate to do a few extra things and he was very agreeable and was able to work them in immediately. The crew got all the frames set as the concrete trucks showed up and the pour went very well. The Sudlow Team was punctual, clean and professional the whole time. After the job was complete I went to turn on my yard sprinkler system and found that a line that ran under the driveway was broken. ONE call and the problem was resolved. No argument or excuses (you don't find customer service like that much anymore). About a year later one section of the extension was sinking, creating an uneven parking pad. Again, ONE call and the owner was out there to check it out and agreed to repair it. Between my travel and his schedule we got a date for the repair. As I expected, they showed up exactly on time (actually early) and once again did a stellar job tearing out the one section and repouring it. Except for the caution tape around the area you wouldn't have known they were there. Everything was cleaned up and the job was perfect. If in the future I need any concrete work done, The Sudlow Team will be my first call.

I contacted Sudlow to ask for a quote for a driveway job over a month ago. A few days later they called to ask me some questions and promised they would call again to schedule the quote. And I am still waiting for their call back! Uggh! If they don't want the job they should just say so.

Provider showed up on time, and performed work as promised. Very satisfied. Would use again.
