Coner was great. My order came back earlier than expected, which was a plus. Mike and the crew were exceptional. They were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what they were doing. This meant a great deal after experiencing another companies work that left a couple inches gap between my house and window and being able to see the wood frame from the street. I did expect to pay a lot more for the work I received, so I am that much more satisfied.

As of October 27th, 2015 we still don't have all the replacement picture windows in; there are two left. They are scheduled to be installed Friday, November 6th. Since the original install all replacements for the incorrect picture windows came from Simonton through their local warranty installer. There have been three attempts to make and deliver the correct product and we are on attempt number four. With the original install this is the fifth attempt overall. Originally, there were five windows with the incorrect grids. On the first and second replacement attempts the windows had the same, incorrect girds. On the fourth install they all had sculpted grids however the two largest windows on the sides of the room had grids with multiple, connected pieces and the three on the wall in between had one piece grids, i.e. the windows had two different types of sculpted grids. In this process a couple of the picture windows also arrived with defects in between the glass panes, but since the grids were also wrong they are getting replaced regardless of those mistakes. The two windows due to be installed this week or next hopefully have the single, sculpted grids with no other defects. Due to these errors, on the third failed attempt to manufacture and deliver these windows Quinn Windows waived the remaining $2000 of the originally agreed to purchase price to compensate us for the mistakes and delay, even though the delay was the fault of the manufacturer. On the fourth and now fifth attempts there is really nothing left that Quinn Windows can do to compensate us more, nor should they. Where we were frustrated with Quinn Windows in this process was in their inability to assist in getting the correct replacement windows and to work to accelerate the replacement's production and shipping. This entire process was out of their hands as Simonton was taking care of it and Quinn didn't have the ability to directly work with Simonton to help us. We feel this is a flaw in the process between these companies because once it was out of Quinn's hands we were dealing with "the system". Simonton's system included a representative who expressed minimal remorse about these issues in a couple of our many interactions (e-mail and telephonic) and, to date, offered no compensation whatsoever for the repeated production errors. In fact, I received the same assurances that what he had done would fix the issue on attempt #5 that I got on a previous attempt when what he had done had not resulted in success, i.e. what he did before didn't actually fix anything so why would it now? It felt like a "boiler-plate" response meant to appease me and not like anything unique was being done to actually take care of the problem once and for all. As for Quinn Windows, they are all very nice people, from Conor Quinn, the owner, to all of his employees and installers. Additionally, they were remorseful about the whole thing but, due to the system, were able to do anything about the issues to fix them and get us the windows we ordered. We'd add that they were punctual too. However, throughout this process my wife grew so frustrated that she couldn't deal with anyone about the windows, staying out of the area when the warranty installers where here. We felt Quinn should've taken care of the window problem with Simonton and their warranty installers. Probably accurately, Quinn kept blaming Simonton but we had paid them and not Simonton or their warranty installers, so we felt they should have found a way of working it out. The windows themselves, apart from the issues described above, are good products and we are pleased with them. Since Quinn did not ask us for the final $2000 of the original price we are satisfied with their attempt to compensate us to resolve the issue. We still would like the manufacturer, Simonton, to offer something, anything really, for compensation since ultimately the original and subsequent issues are their responsibility, however this is beyond the scope of Angie?s List.

Response from Quinn Windows
Several things written here are incorrect. Quinn Windows measured, ordered and installed all your new windows correctly back in March of this year. No blame whatsoever was placed on the installers. The 5 picture windows at the back of your home had MANUFACTURER defects. In situations with manufacturer defects we are forced to turn that manufacturer, Simonton Windows, and rely on them to correct the situation. Unfortunately they are still fumbling the ball on this one, something we ourselves are embarrassed about. A sizable portion of the balance due on your job was left off pending resolution of this situation. Due to the custom nature of the windows in question about a month lead-time is required to order the replacement parts. Unfortunately due to the lack of attention to detail on the manufacturer's part they have tried to correct the issue a few times and still don't quite have it right. They are still working on the problem and are interested in providing you the beautiful windows that you and I ordered. I assure you that this is an unpleasant experience for us as well. Anything that could be done on our end to resolve this in the most timely manner has been done. I would like to point out that Angie's List is a resource for consumers to obtain accurate information on businesses and their services. I understand that the manufacturer's errors have inconvenienced you greatly but is there something else Quinn Windows could have done? A review like this has the power to put a company like ours out of business. Are we the ones you are angry at? We are just as anxious to get your windows fixed. We apologize sincerely that this has happened. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

I called Conor Quinn because he did a great job 2 years ago replacing 11 windows. But this time I had a small, crappy job involving a couple of problems that I didn't know how to fix. I have a porch surrounded by sliding glass and screen windows and 2 doors to the outside. It's about 20 years old. The tracks for the windows were clogged with dead bugs and dirt. One of the screen windows got stuck, went off the track and I didn't have enough hands to get it back in the track. One of its rollers was rusted and stuck. The screen in one of the doors had a hole. Small stuff, but a real nuisance. So I called Conor, he came out and knew exactly what to do, ordering replacement rollers for the windows (including a few extras in case the same thing happened to any of the other windows), installing them, replacing the screen in the door, and cleaning the tracks so the windows wouldn't get stuck.

I was pleased by the service provided at every level. The quote was prompt and reasonable, based on other estimates. It took three days to complete the installation and the installers worked tirelessly from start to finish and were responsive to my concerns. The installation was more difficult because they had to remove and reinstall shutters on most of the windows. The windows and door look great.

They?ve given us excellent service. They are prompt. I couldn?t ask for anyone better. Their prices were very competitive. Ever since we discovered them, we?ve been using them. My wife just keeps bringing them back. They?ve replaced about every window in our house with the ENERGY STAR windows. I have a good relationship with Mr. Quinn, I know his installers, and I know his son who does the estimates.

We needed to replace most of the window in our house as the seals were broken. Searched Angie's list of preferred providers and chose a select few to quote. We believe all companies would have done a fine job. Quinn Windows was the first to respond (next day) and promptly scheduled a visit to measure windows, show typical window they install and quote a price. All bids were competitive, but we felt Quinn offered the best deal. The windows were to come in 3-4 weeks, but were ready in 2 weeks. They scheduled two days the same week to remove the existing windows and install the new windows. They also installed PVC brick molding. The installation looks great! We had them come back for a few minor items, which they promptly took care of. Would definitely recommend Quinn Windows.

I wanted Monarch windows for one room in my house but had not found a local source for them. I called Quinn Windows to ask if they carried Monarch; they said they could get them for me. I have an old house, in which nothing is a standard size, so once the custom-made windows arrived, the installation was very tricky. The crew was very good at working around the oddities of the space (in which nothing is square or level) while respecting and replicating the woodwork that had to be removed to fit the new windows. When I had a problem getting one of the windows to lock after installation, the whole crew came back out late in the evening and redid part of the framing to ensure the window fit was completely correct. They did all the work in one day, they were very neat, and were very committed to making these new modern windows work within the challenges of an old and non-standard space. I plan to have them back to do more replacement windows.

We interviewed 3 different companies to replace the windows in our entire house. This was a very big job. Quinn is a small company that does not use pressured sales techniques. Their bid, at $18,000 was the lowest, by several thousand dollars. The other bids were $26,000 and $31,000. However, we went with Quinn not only for the low price. They only use Simonton brand windows which have a great and long standing reputation. Another company also quoted us to install Simonton. The windows are guaranteed for life, and the labor is guaranteed with Quinn for 5 years. I purposely waited to write our review until we lived with the windows for a couple of months. They have been absolutely perfect. Throughout the installation the Quinn team was easy to work with and provided great customer service. This was a big job and they used a team of two installers, Mike and Donnie. They told me they would treat my house like their own, and they did. The whole job took 5 days of hard work, but they were careful, precise and replaced all of my blinds when they were done with each window. Homeowners should plan for a staging area to store the windows during the job. We parked our cars on the street and they kept all the windows in our garage during the job. There will be some debris-they hauled away the old windows and aluminum casings. It is messy and you will have to do additional clean up. Since our windows were replaced our gas bill has been $200-$300 lower this winter. This was a big job but has vastly improved the look and feel of our home. I would highly recommend going with Quinn when you are ready to replace your windows!

Our home had begun to require replacements to the original builder grade windows that were installed when the home was built in 1999. Charles & Connor Quinn walked us through all the available options in the window replacement industry today and made several recommendations for us to consider. They did not pressure us in anyway to select their company or the most expensive replacement option. When we asked Quinn if this was your house what would he do? He responded sincerely and without hesitation to a lower cost option. Connor Quinn had his team of 3 professional installers led by their crew chief Mike spend three days at our home arriving on time and cleaning up after themselves each day. They replaced over 36 windows, 5 custom sized large windows and one door. They did everything they could to avoid disrupting our home while working long days the week between Christmas and New Year's. They we very professional, courteous and friendly. They communicated through the whole process of what they were doing on each day. Connor Quinn came back an inspected the whole job. There are many options and fine companies available in the Atlanta area for window replacements. With Quinn windows you get the family name on every job which was very important to me. We would highly recommend their company.

I called Connor as I had heard good things about him from a job in Norcross. He came to our rental house and showed my husband how the windows could easily be fixed. Some of the stops were not working so the windows would not stay up. My husband is handy but this was not something we knew details about and we wanted the windows to work correctly and be safe for the next renters. I was concerned that this was going to be an expensive job. He charged us zero. We will certainly plan on recommending him to others and use him for future installations at our home.

I met with Charles for an estimate in November. The consultation was great and I was promptly provided an estimate. I reached back out to him in mid-January to schedule a date. If I had a door in mind this process would have gone much quicker. But I had asked for help in the door selection for the front door. This proved difficult because of the transom that needed to be replaced. Ultimately, my husband and I decided not to replace the front door (too much trouble for cosmetic concerns) and I requested we move ahead with the back door. At this point we were on the schedule in 1 week. The team arrived promptly at the scheduled time and began the work. The work was quick, clean and nicely done. My dad had performed some crude handy work on the door several years prior and they cleaned it up and made adjustments to correct. I could not have been happier with Mike and his team. If ever wanted to replace more doors and windows, I would definitely call Quinn again.

Connor did a great job explaining the windows/efficiency/ installation process and wasn't over bearing like most salesmen. The windows came in about 2 weeks and were installed that week. Bow and his assistant ( Dad) did a great installation job; they worked the entire day installing, cleaning up, caulking, checking everything and even re-installed the window coverings abd wireless arlarms. They were great and I definitely would recommend this Company and crew. It's hard to find good, reliable and honest Company's to do quality work and care about the work they do. This company does. The Quinn workers removed all the old wood windows from the exterior side, and only had to come inside for a few chores. None of the drapes, wood shutters or other fixtures on the inside had to be touched. There was nothing that had to be replaced or even rearranged on the inside. The exterior was then trimmed with metallic moldings that closely matched our trim color. The work went smoothly and rapidly. Several of the windows were ordered with wood-grained vinyl that approximates the interior wood trim. This matched very well in the Family Room and Kitchen. The rest of our inside trim was white, so there was no problem with colors. The whole job took about 4 weeks from first quote to finish. After the windows were done, I had them come back and do the siding and the shutters. Really cleaned up the exterior.
