It went very well, they showed up on time, the job took the length of time they said it would. They checked everything they did to make sure it was correct and it was very apparent that they knew what they were doing. The price was fair and I was very impressed with their professionalism. I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to my friends.

It went very well. My light fixtures were old and I wanted to update them. Because of the number of light fixtures needing to be replaced and the fact that I had very high slanted ceilings, two men came. Lamond and John were very professional and easy to work with. They replaced all the fixtures and were able to problem solve any issues. They also cleaned up any mess that was made and had a great sense of humor. Thanks to both of them!

Pat Murphy Electric (Dave was my electrician) came to give an estimate and was very professional. I had already received a quote from Mr. Sparky, which was much higher. When I hired Pat Murphy to do the rewire they were quick to schedule/start the work and they kept me informed the entire way. It was a six-week job. I trusted them entirely and was very confident in their work. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves each day. Very, very nice employees who did things the right way (and up to code). They really went above and beyond and helped make a difficult time seem better. I will always use Pat Murphy for electrical services in the future.

From start to completion everyone was very professional. The electrician arrived on time, was very courteous and provided an reasonable estimate for the project. In lieu of performing a costly diagnostic testing for an apparent short circuit he suggest we try a simply DIY alternative. With in moments the "short circuit" was fixed. The following week we purchased the fans and scheduled the installation.The electrician and his assistant were punctual and finshed the job within two hours. Based upon my experience I will definitely use Pat Murphy again.

The electrician (Patrick) came out one day and diagnosed the problem within an hour or so. He explained the issues to me and prepared an estimate for the repairs. I was not charged for the diagnostic visit. Patrick and a helper came back the following week at my convenience and fixed the problem in a couple of hours without cutting into my drywall. So far, so good. I felt like it was a reasonable price and great service. Patrick was very pleasant and professional and cleaned up any mess before he left (which was very little to begin with). In addition, the work is warranted for a year. I would definitely use them again, but hope I don't have to!

It cost me $195.00 for about 5-10 minutes of work. The electrician just had to secure a wire in a can/recessed light.

Everything works good now. Did an excellent job. Very courteous. On time.

The job was complicated because I have a 1921 bungalow with some old wiring and the outlets were being wired throuh heart pine posts and boards on a load-bearing wall.. I was also having to schedule his visit around other work and Pat Murphy was very accomodating with their scheduling him to come out. Electrician Paul Thompson was very thorough in his job and explaining to me what had to be done. He is very familiar with wiring in old houses and knows his stuff about everything electrical. His assistant Lamont was also very efficient and knowledgeable, too.They got the job done in a short time, left no mess, even tried to fix some work I had just had done by a very highly rated Angiie's list company that had turned out horribly with lots of damage to my plaster and not even anchoring the outlet in the wall properly. I have to have plasterer to repair that! Their services were very reasonable and the price was comparable (even less I think) than the "Big Box" electrical company. I was very happy with their work and will use Paul Thompson from Pat Murphy Electric for all my future electrical needs!!

They are outstanding. They are fantastic. They are prompt, reliable, knowledgeable and courteous. They are on time. They follow through. They are very polite and very nice. They are clean cut and appropriately dressed.

Excellent service. The electrician knew what he was doing and was efficient with the use of his time. I was also given an estimate at the beginning of the work, and because this was a somewhat "hidden" problem, there was some change in the cost, but I was given advance notice of cost issues as the work progressed. An excellent value.

This was the first time I had used Pat Murphy. I used Angie's List to choose my vendor. The staff in the office were friendly, respectful, and responsive. Sometimes it is a little tricky when work is done on a rental unit because the work is done in one location and the bill is sent to another. There were no errors with invoicing and payment. The work was done promptly and correctly the first time.

We were needing to sell some goods from a home that we were executors of the will on. They had a generator hooked up and we needed an electrician to unhook it. I had used Pat Murphy's previously and so I called them back to do this work. They were able to come quickly for the work. They are easy to deal with and I have had to do an entire transaction over the phone. They keep you informed of the process.

They show up on time, and are friendly and efficient.

These guys know what customer service is all about! From the 1st person to answer the phone, to the walk through and sign off on the paperwork, these people are professionals. They are courteous, punctual and price their services fairly. The work they did was outstanding and they will be my electrical company here in Atlanta from now on. Thank you Pat Murphy for proving that customer service is not a thing of the past!

I was completely happy with the service they provided. The price was reasonable. The quality of their service was excellent. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I asked if they would tell me their hourly rates - answer: no. Asked if I could speak to someone who might be able to give me an idea, a price range, for what my repair would cost. Answer - no, we prefer to come out and give an onsite estimate for $54 which we will credit if you have us do the job. Well of course that's what they prefer. I've been running a successful business for many years. I give firm quotes, estimates, budget proposals, detailed proposals, and all kinds of information to customers and PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS every day and never once have a charged a nickel for those services. That's a part of doing business. If Pat Murphy can get people to pay him for giving estimates, that's certainly his prerogative. I, however, will never be one of those people.

Paul is great for us! He presents us with different options to solve the same problem and lets us choose which route to take. I really trust his opinion, and he his knowledge has saved us some money in the past.

The company was able to fit us in the same day that we called and the service was excellent. Why the electrician was here we went ahead and set up a time for him to come back next week to perform work we had gotten an estimate on a year ago. The old estimate was still honored.

I called and was able to get a technician to the house the same day. E technician was very punctual and informative. He diagnosed several additional problems for us and was able to repair them within the time allotted for the original job. It went very well.

Very good experience. Performed all services in a minimun amount of time and cleaned up when the job was completed. I recommend this company for telephone and coaxial cable services.

I have used them several times. I am very pleased with their work. They are very punctual. They are very neat. They do a very good job; we have never had to call them back to redo anything. They are user-friendly. They explain what they are going to do, and they are very accommodating to your schedule. I have no reason to change to another electrician.

I called them. Told them the property to go repair and they did the repair work.

Jason was prompt, courteous, explained the pricing carefully before starting the work and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. The work took 2-3 hours. He called GA Power Company on my behalf before he finished to ensure timely reconnection of power. All of this was done on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend - not an easy time to get service. Pat Murphy does charge a $250 fee for emergency weekend work but I couldn't wait. All in all, the price was probably as good as I could get for 2-3 hours emergency work on a holiday weekend. I'd use them again.

Our house was built in the early 1990s. Not old (certainly not by Atlanta standards), but old enough to start having the kinds of problems you think about in houses that have been around for a while. In this case, the front chandelier, hall light, porch lights and several outlets just stopped working. Obviously a problem with one or maybe two circuits on the breaker board. But when we checked, no breakers were tripped. That's the point when we got on Angle's list and found Pat Murphy Electric. They were prompt, very neat and professional, and took the time to explain what they were doing and what the problem was (turned out to be a badly-wired outlet on that front-of-the-house circuit which at least one of the wires had come loose from. They also helped us out with some GFI outlets in the kitchen which weren't working properly.
