Mr. LaRue Martin of Martin and Son Contracting is the person I will call for any home needs in the future. I highly recommend this gentleman. He was professional, prompt, and pleasant. He communicated with me via text, email, and phone and sent a quote in a timely manner. He had me send photos of the existing fixture and the new one, so that he would know in advance what to expect from the project. I appreciated that. When I have work done in my home, I like to watch it in progress. I asked to watch while he worked, and he encouraged me to do so. The work is impeccable. I can comfortably say that I trust this man with my home repairs and installation. Highly, highly recommend.

I saw Martinâ  s van at Home Depot near my home, I had just purchased the faucet and other plumbing items. I needed the work done immediately, I phoned him and he answered, I told him my needs and asked if he could do the job that same day. He worked me in as his last job for the evening. It was a pleasure working with him.

Mr. LaRue is a good man. He works alone with no side help and is very knowledgeable in his field of work. He assisted me in selecting the proper doors for my replacements and provided his expert opinion all along the way. I was always aware of next steps. I plan to hire him for additional work and will definitely refer him to others.

LaRue was the best. He was so skilled at anything we asked for, he was friendly, and his pricing was more than reasonable. As first time homeowners, we really lucked out by finding him because of his honest pricing and work ethic. I trusted him to be in our house any time. He was also very quick to finish the job, and the end result was great. I worked with him when he was near Milwaukee, but my husband and I actually hope to move to Atlanta next and we would absolutely go back to Martin& Son for any work we need done in our next house.

Very easy to work with

He was 2 1/2 hours late. I had to call and text him several times before he came to my home. He texted be back that he only calls to let clients know if he has to reschedule or to cancel. While he was completing the job, he kept texting me questions and pictures instead of walking into the next room to speak to me. I found that to be very rude. Also, he seemed to have forgotten what the scope of the work that we had discussed. I asked he to install the shower rod along with the safety equipment. He pointed out that he did not include that in the invoice and was unwilling to install it. He told me that I would have to pay $65 additional for the shower bar. I tried to get him to see that out of a courtesy for being late to install it for no additional charge. I thought that he was being unreasonable since I had the bar available for him to install. His customer service was poor to nonexistent. The next day I noticed that he did not properly seal the ends of the rails. He did not completely clean up after the job. Upon futher inspection, I discovered that he left all of the trash from the packaging in the room next to the bathroom for me to discard. When we first met I told him that I have more work for him to complete around my home and that my friends and family are looking for a reliable contractor. I will not recommend him to anyone nor will I want him to fix his mistakes.

I had the company paint my tri-level townhouse; repair walls and replace a door. It was not an easy job but it was done with good work quality, professionalism and any concerns I had were handled with punctuality. I am planning on having them back to do more work within the next month. Thank you Martin and Son!

La Rue is a awesome guy and who is both professional and knowledgeable. He really saved me by coming to do an urgent and difficult job for me on a days notice. I can't thank him enough.
