They had to change appointment. Then I felt he could have unplug it from the kitchen where the pipe originates with much less effort , time and cost. Instead he took the connection off of the 3 inch pipe in the crawl space that leads up into the wall and cleaned out six foot or so of this pipe--this did not fix the problem!! Then he ran a snake from washer drain pipe in kitchen 3ft. down to connection with big pipe and solved the problem--this should and could have been done first a lot cheaper

Epie's was half the cost of the other vendor we priced out and they completed the job in under an hour. Very impressed.

Well, initially Dan responded quickly to my emails through Angie's List but because of their busy schedule the work got started about a couple of weeks later. Once we agreed on a date and time, Dan met with me to do a "walk through" of my list. He then compiled an estimate. I made some adjustments to the list and at my request Jesse sent a revised invoice. On the day work would begin, the team arrived beginning with the plumber first. Very punctual; very polite. (Both of these are very important to me :-) The second set of the team arrived shortly thereafter and they completed the electrical and shutter repairs. I was most impressed by their amiable personalities and skillful professionalism that each team member displayed. When I had questions, each person patiently answered them and they didn't mind that I was hovering while they worked. They cleaned up behind themselves and were very respectful of the property. The payment terms were flexible and I appreciated their communication skills. I would recommend Epie's Repair Service for others seeking great handyman services.

It went absolutely wonderful. It was excellent service and they were prompt. They were very, very honest and professional. They looked like they really enjoyed what they do and working with each other as well.

Men who came out were professional and thorough, though afterwards communication was lacking.

Contacted Dan at the end of last week and requested a quote and service. Received the needed info quickly and set a time for Alexander to come out and change the faucet. Alexander showed up on time and completed the task in less than an hour. Very happy with the installation and the quick responses.

Just an unbelievable company in terms of how easy it is to communicate with them, and get a price from them. They're punctual, the quality of the work is excellent. For a handy man service it's just outstanding, they just do everything right.

I was given an estimate to repair a diverter and replace trip waste. once the the plumber arrived he found out the diverter didn't need to be change. I requested to have a cartilage replace instead which was done as requested. Short time later I received the invoice it was doubled from the estimate price. Materials purchased at the local store was about 54.00 dollars and I was charged 97.50. Labor 245.00. After multiple attempt I spoke to Mr. Doster who informed me the price was fare because they have to charge for overhead including for time spent speaking to me.

I purchased a mailbox and post on-line and needed it installed. I contacted Epie's on July 7th and got a response that same day. The estimate was for $125.00, but a $15.00 Angie's list discount dropped the estimate to $110.00. A "dig number" was needed before installation to avoid possible damage to any nearby gas lines. The area was marked and cleared on July 10th with installation scheduled for the next day. The two-man crew arrived as scheduled and promptly set to work. They removed the old box and post, dug a deeper, wider hole to accommodate the new post, assembled the the post (it was in three parts) and secured the mailbox to the post and then set the post in quick setting cement. All the while, they used a level to insure the post remained straight while the cement set which took about 20 minutes or so. They then packed dirt around the base of the post, cleaned up their work area and hauled off the old mailbox and post. The whole thing from start to finish took about one hour and the installers were courteous, friendly and professional throughout. This was the third time I have used Epie's over the last couple of years and in each instance the service has been performed promptly, professionally and at a reasonable price.

They were really good to work with. They were very punctual and on time. They finished the job and did what they said they were going to do. They were very courteous. I wouldn't say anything bad about them. Their price was a little high, but I was okay with it. The price wasn't horrible.

I was very impressed with Dan. He scheduled service promptly. I knew that I needed a new bathroom fan and it asked me to take a picture of the current fan so that they could purchase the correct model in advance. They did and installed it quickly. The faucet continued to leak a bit after the plumber left (there was both a clog and a part that needed replacing and the plumber though that the old part was fine one the clog was cleared, but it didn't hold). I contacted Dan and he sent the plumber back the next day at no charge and fixed it correctly. In my mind, how a company deals with things that don't go perfectly, is a stronger indicator than when things do go right, so I am very impressed. So, service was great. Price was competitive. I will definitely call them again.

Things went smoothly. First we made some basic decisions -- such as using a three-rocker switch rather than a two so as to have overhead and under-counter lighting on separate switches (along with disposal). Then, a small delay due to mix-up on who was to purchase rope lighting (perhaps my error). Even so, once we obtained lighting, things went well. The installer quickly realized that the original plan for placement would cast a very precise and bright reflection on dark granite counters. We found the perfect spot to minimize reflection. Later, when a problem arose with some of the lights themselves, the electrician called the company to get further direction. (Company "knew" about the problem already and said to return the lights to dealer. Fortunately, one box of lights was sufficient and would work. Other box will go back.) Installation was finished that day, and we love the new lights! As for closets, smooth sailing all the way. Installer tore out old shelves and clothes rods, re-painted interiors (only one coat needed), and installed shelving. Done! Workers were clean and polite, knew what to do, checked periodically to make sure everything was as we wished, and they cleaned up carefully before leaving. Dan stayed in touch during throughout the day as needed. Dan and his crew have done many jobs for us over several years, and he has recommended others when the job was not in his usual line of work. As suggested above, there is always attention to detail, and trustworthiness is simply a given. We are glad he's nearby!

When a multi-light switch went out at the same time as we needed a tub drain repaired, we thought Epie's would be a good service since they do plumbing and electric. One guy came out to estimate both jobs, but then he scheduled two different crews for the two services on two days. That was fine, but the plumbing crew never showed up. We called, and they apologized, rescheduled the plumber, and he stood us up again! Since their estimate on the tub drain was very high, we just went with another plumber. The electricians, however, were terrific. They were running late that day, but they called to inform us. They ended up appearing late in the workday just after a huge storm had passed through, and the creek had flooded 3 feet over the road to our house. They drove their truck through the flood to do the work, which was professional and competent, at a reasonable rate. The technicians were polite and entertaining, and I'd hire them again if their company had been more responsive about the other service.

Everything went smoothly. They came to my home,measured, had railing made, and approximately two weeks later they installed and painted the rails. They look nice and are exactly what I wanted.

Epie's was quick and fixed it right. Plus they honored our Angie's List coupon with no questions asked.

Things have gone excellent with them. They actually have access to an electrician and a plumber so I guess that I knew that they were going to be able to do everything and I was not going to find another company. They also have all A's on Angie's List. They were excellent on the cleaning, the service and their professionalism. Their price is hard to grade because I did not really compare. It was okay but I have nothing to compare it with. I did not mind paying it because it was pretty decent. They were great and I would definitely have them back.

I called another company and they didn't service high rises and this company did so I went with them. The price was fair. The tenant was very pleased.
