Epie's Electric Services

Epie's has done work for me at my home and at a rental property several times: replacing a crawlspace door, installing bathroom fans and other miscellaneous tasks. They are on time or call to let you know if they have been delayed. They are quick, clean and have always gotten the job done right the first time. The thing I like about them best is that if they leave a message, they give you actionable information- no endless phone tag.

The installation was perfect. This provider also did a number of tasks at a previous home. Those services had some problems but Dan corrected them immediately and gave me a fair discount (that is the reason I gave rating I did on the quality). Dan's honesty and fairness is why I chose them to work on my new condo. No one is perfect but an honest professional recognizes and acknowledges mistakes and rectifies them.

I called Epie's on Monday, July 27th and left a voicemail. Mr. Doster called me back the same day and took his time to talk to me about the layout of our house and the two fans that we wanted to install. I told him that we had had some bad experiences with contractors and were looking for a company that we could trust for this and future projects. He assured me that his team had a lot of experience and that they were professional in their work. He scheduled for his two electricians to come out on Saturday, August 1st. Phillip and Paul came right on time and talked to us about our project. They were both very nice and respectful and did an amazing job. Once they were done, they even took time to look at our breaker box, which we we had been told by another electrician was in a very bad condition and needed to be replaced asap. They assured us that it was fine and nothing we needed to worry about. We have had several companies do various projects on our house, but this was the best experience we have had so far. We will definitely use Epie's again for future projects.

Dan wasn't able to make it to our first scheduled date, but he promptly called me and rescheduled. When he came out, he walked the property with me and answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and gave good advice--his main piece being that we did not need to install french drains. Although we wouldn't need to use his services, he stayed at my house and discussed with me my options for landscaping the area. He was friendly and patient and very helpful.

Voicemail greeting was pleasant sounding but said that due to an uptick in call volume estimates/work would be scheduled "at least* 4-5 weeks in advance. So. If you need something done then consider a different provider. This one is overworked and will either take forever to get to you and/or charge more than a comparable provider due to his work load.

I bought an outdoor faucet replacement from Epie's Repair Service on 06/24 after checking on their website if my town was in their service area. The best appointment I could get was in 3 weeks on 07/20 so I waited;however, on Saturday 07/18 they cancelled my appointment because they said I was outside of their service area. I consider making me wait 3 weeks before they realize their error truly unprofessional when I could have found someone else within that time.

Philip and his assistant arrived in a timely manner on both occasions and completed the work as requested. They were thorough, and following the initial inspection, provided an explanation about several small jobs to have done or to consider. Later we received a written estimate from Dan, owner of Epie's, and decided which work we would have done (hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a few other things). We scheduled a return date, and they returned to complete the work. Professional and friendly service, good clean-up afterwards. No problems. We now have in mind a couple of other small electrical projects that we will have done by Epie's.

Dan Doster came out to give me an estimate the evening after I first contacted Epie's. We went over everything I wanted taken carre of and he promised to get back to me with an estimate as soon as possible. I received an estimate from Dan about 2 evening later and we talked and decided on a very fair price. The job was begun on the 17th and pretty much completed on the 18th. Eric had to come back on the 19th to finish some molding and caulking that couldn't be done until the paint had completely dried in the bathroom. The work was done as promised and finished just about on time. I found both of the workmen to be personable, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure I was satisfied with the job. Oh, the best part - they completely clean up the work area everyday before they leave. I'm sure I'll be using Epie's again - my house is 60 years old and there is always something to be done. I highly recommend this business and its employees.

All projects went fine. good dependable work! I always call on Dan Doster and epie's first when I need help with a project. I'm a bit of a DIY person, but I know my limits. When it is something I don't feel comfortable doing myself, I call Dan!

Very responsive, returned calls and emails promptly, showed up on time. Very thorough, definitely experts in decks, very professional. Very pleased with their work.

I am very satisfied with their punctuality, they got back with me the same day both by email and a phone call. The owner himself fixed my facets and explained to me exactly what he was doing. The price was very reasonable because in the long run this will save me from future wood rot. I will be using this company again!

They did an excellent job and I haven't had any problems since. I would use them again.They are very pleasant people to deal with. I am thinking of having them do more work done with them.

I was very pleased with the process. They came when they said they would. The owner plus at least one assistant was always there. They were very professional and careful in their work.

Phillip was delayed due to previous job he was doing, only comment here would have been little more notice of delay, but other than that- adjusted time of arrival was on time, friendly, courteous & walked me thru what he was doing and how he would do it. He also noted another light was out and verified all it needed was a new bulb- mystery switch in house was solved! I have received quotes on future work & pending my purchase of required items, they will be back. I have a very small house & this is the 1st person/company in 3 years on Angies list that has been willing to work with me on my small projects. I hope for this to be a long-term relationship as (typical female) I have a List of things I need done! : )

Great people, great workmanship, great attitude -- and able to get to us within a couple of days. I cannot say enough good things about them!

I had a good experience. They were on time. They were professional and courteous. I would recommend them. I will use them again.

The service turned out very well. They cleaned up after themselves, and the service went very well. The one thing I didn't like was that I requested for a 12 year hot water heater, and they gave me a 10 year heater, and then gave me an extended warranty for the next couple of years, so it can only be fixed by them, it is not from the manufacturer. Their prices were very good on what needed to be done, and I knew there was additional work that needed to be done. They were good for the most part.

Epie's Handyman acted as the Contractor for my project of creating a Washer/Dryer laundry area on 2nd floor of house. First, a plumber was sent to do the attachment to hot and cold water pipes and out flow. Sheet rock was cut, and floor tiled. Second, an Electrician proved a new 220 line. Third, an air vent for the dryer was attached to vent in basement. The project was done so cleverly that cost was at a minimum, and cleanly done. All told the project took about two weeks to complete. I was not put out at all, nor my house upset with workmen. All was done neatly and in a timely manner. The workers would arrive, do their work and leave.

It went well. They may not of have the most competitive pricing, but they were the only ones who followed-up with me. I got what I asked for although the implementation of it was a little bit different than I expected although I didn't know exactly what to expect. The overall solution did work and it worked well.

Went well. On time and professional.

EVERYTHING HE DONE WAS GOOD. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT HIS WORK.

I needed a screen door fixed, rails added to my front porch and the hood over my stove fixed. They immediately went out to give me an estimate for the work. While on site doing the estimate they took a look at a small issue I was having with the hood. It was a simple fix and they took care of it for me free of charge. The work they did on the front porch was EXACTLY what I was looking for. We discussed their design and what I was looking for over the phone. The screen door was also fixed. They remained in constant contact with me throughout the process. I was extremely pleased with the whole process.

Service was performed as promised. Arrived on time, discussed options and installed as agreed.
