Description of Work: Everything in the house I bought needed repairing, repaintimg, replacing. The guys from Epie's have done all of this except countertops. They have contracted for tilers and painters. Last visit, they installed bathroom mirrors, large prints, moved a light fixture, installed another, and put up hardware in a bathroom, plus many small things. These folks are professional and stay till the job is done right. |

Description of Work: Epie's Repair Service was wonderful. You can go to them as a single source for household repairs. We were able to get electrical work done as well as installation of a french drain. Great communication! Would definitely call them again and have already referred them to friends.

Description of Work: I was unable to clear hair from the tub drain. The nut holding the plug in place was tight, and I was concerned that I would damage it. The Service Tech. loosened the nut, cleared the blockage, and replaced the nut, leaving it so that I could remove in the future.

Description of Work: I just had the visit from Dan from Epie's Repair Services, and upon his review I do not need the purchased toilet tuneup voucher services. The original scheduled time was 8:30am, but he arrived for service at 1:30pm because of scheduling confusion.

Description of Work: Performed maintenance on leaky commode. Inquired about any additional items I had trouble with. I asked questions about concerns I had and was given answers to my questions. Inquired if his company could change out my |washer and dryer, he made a call to the office and two repairmen responded |within 2 hours. Definitely did not expect that type of turnaround time within the same day with no appointment for the services requested. Switched out my appliances in spite of the fact that it was questionable if they could get my dryer done because of the tight squeeze to get the vent back on. When I went to get my check book, one repairmen was making his way over the washer and had already hooked the new dryer up. Bravo!!! Set the old appliances aside for me and was finished in less than 1 hour.I was afraid there would be a problem so I'm glad one of the repairman was agile enough to get the job done! I also found out that I was outside their service area. Now how about that for service. maybe I could have gotten it done a little cheaper but I was really pleased to pay the price I did for the services rendered and it was not part of the contracted deal I purchased. All 3 service men were extremely nice, polite and respectful.They ran the appliances through the quick cycle to see |if everything worked. Of they did, now i am a happy camper and my water bill has decreased! Good help is hard to find even if you are willing to pay for it. Thank you Epie's Repair Service!

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List special offer for the $39.00 toilet tune-up. Dan and Eric called and asked if they could arrive earlier than the 1:00 p.m. appointment time. They arrived at noon, provided identification and went right to work. They checked out the issue I was having with the toilet in my guest bathroom, explained the issue and quickly fixed the problem. I am definitely going to use Epie's Repair Service again.

Description of Work: They performed a basic inspection as well as installing several GFCI sockets and light fixtures. They were even nice enough to remove the wiring from an old security system that wasn't in use.

Description of Work: We purchased a toilet tune up special. He was prompt and polite and didn't try to convince us we needed other unnecessary services. I would certainly call him again for other plumbing services.

Description of Work: They didn't show up for scheduled appointment to complete work or bother to call. My tenant took the day off from work to meet with them & no show. Tenant called, no response. Waste of everyone's time, they are fired.

Description of Work: minor home repairs. however Epies disposed of our replaced parts that may have been returned for adjustment. One employee gave us one price, another a different price on the bill.

Description of Work: I had already installed exhaust fans in two bathrooms. I just needed them connected to power with wall switches. The replacement of three wall switch boxes was necessary, along with timers for the fans. They also put in a new ceiling outlet in the living room. Dan and Josh did an awesome job. They are both very pleasant to be around. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: This review applies to several service calls over the past couple of years. We have consistently been pleased with the level of expertise, work done, professionalism, sound advice, and other factors that can making working with some folks unpleasant. Dan and his crew have done a variety of relatively small/medium jobs for us such as installing vent fans, shelving, new mailbox and post; replacing toilets; installing an in-house, accessible cut-off valve for water; and so forth -- along with some basic repairs and plumbing work. While someone has always been here when work is being done, I would have no qualms about leaving, if necessary. We certainly plan to keep using Epie's Handyman.

Description of Work: My condo had no ceiling lights. Dan & Jim wired three rooms so that ceiling lights & fans could be installed. This involved getting access to the attic through my neighbor's unit, which they accomplished with no inconvenience to him.

Description of Work: Dan showed up and went to work. He unpacked a chest of drawers. He meticulously grouped all of the screws and parts like a surgeon. He then proceeded to put the chest of drawers together. I am happy and he has a regular customer!
