Good, but repair cost was expensive

The plumber made minor adjustment and wanted to over charge me for additional witk.

They were the only ones that would make an effort to come out and fix our issues. They were quick and thorough, they explained everything in advance and they answered all of my questions. They made a special effort to come out the same day when none of the other providers would.

Allgood was to replace my shower faucet unit. This required a valve replacement. I was given arrival range of 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm on September 8. The plumber arrived shortly after 2:00 pm & departed shortly after 9:00 pm. I witnessed him insert & remove the valve three (3) times. It was evident he lacked knowledge; nevertheless continued the struggle. After six hours and a trip to Home Depot, he proudly announced he was done, I reviewed the job to find the handle pointed to the ceiling & excessive caulking all around the fixture I addressed this & the plumber replied "you want it down?". He then informed me he "could not remove it because the faceplate did not include a screw therefore he had to adhere it to the tile wall with CAULKING". He relinquished & changed the handle direction. He also torched my wall & attempted to hide the burn with white paint. I began making calls to the office & was connected to a Field Manager who originally told me he could not come out to review the job for 6 days. After several other calls to the office & forwarding pictures Field Manager came out 2 days later. He reviewed the project & promptly began to disassemble the chaos. The job was overpriced to start; my shower was unuseable upon completion; the appearance was totally unprofessional & after 14 hours & nearly two (2) weeks of inconvenience the most Allgood offered was to pay 1/2 on the repair of my drywall. Yes...1/2. My wall was repaired September 14. CHOOSE ANOTHER OPTION!

It took a minute for the receptionist to understand what I was looking for, but she did say that is work that they do. She proceeded to tell me that they could come out tomorrow. I clarified to provide an estimate (and not actually do the work), and then she explained there was a $39 dispatch charge. In my opinion, if I have to pay you for an estimate, you are not very confident about earning my business. This is perhaps more common for a plumbing company, where a diagnosis is required; however, it is highly irregular in the landscape and erosion/drainage business. If this plumbing company is choosing to do exterior work, they should consider adopting industry policies.

Work was not done could not agree on price.

The service turned out fine. He took a few extra steps to do what was done instead of going straight to replace the problem. He was able to fix it. They answered the phone quickly. They were on time when they said they would. The guy was very professional. He appeared to know a lot about this craft.

They failed on multiple occasions on fixing my main water line. They took shortcuts. They drilled into my basement wall. They weren't even replacing the same line. Basically the guy just took the shortest route and instead of replacing the line he just did whatever was the easiest and fastest. And then he installed it so he had to putty my wall and rerun the line to the existing line. Then a couple weeks after that the pipe bust, again. They had to come back tot he house. They figures out basically what the other guy did is he didn't cut away the other piece of the piping. He just kind of laid it underneath the new piping and after pressure it just bulged and then popped and then broke again. Again, making short cuts. not doing the full job, the full work. Not really doing your whole replacement. And that ridiculous is because that one ended up costing $2000. I was really pissed off. The only saving grace is that they basically ended up doing that work for free. I'll never hire them again. The guy told me, he was like, I do these all the time. I told him to just replace the existing line. Then I get house and then I see there's a hole in my basement. And the pipe was like running, it was running against the wall, right in the middle of the wall in my basement. I asked why would you think that's at all appropriate and he said that was the direct route, fastest way. That was really frustrating. They were on time. They tried to be professional, but when you cut corners like that and not fully explaining to your customers exactly what your doing and how your doing it. I don't find that professional. They weren't thinking of the customer. They were thinking more of the time and energy spent doing a job. They need to improve. It's a bigger company, you know, so they're cutting corners wherever they can.

The installation went fine. The plumber was pleasant,professional and knew what he was doing. He was on time completed the task and gone within 1/1/2 hours. The cost was excessive for the work done 287.00 dollar, this includes the 50.00 paid to Angies for 100.00 dollars worth of plumbing. In my mind the 50.00 for 100.00 dollars worth of plumbing did not mean a thing just a come on. The total job should have cost no more than 150.00. My bad though he was there and I needed it done, I could have refused. Never again.

The technician was on time and professional. I've never been a fan of calling plumbers because of the cost. With the coupon I got from Angie's List, however, it made this experience easier to swallow. Kudos to both Angies List and Allgood Plumbing.

They're very good. They send out very smart people who can troubleshoot. They are the most expensive. We had a flood. They fixed our broken pipe which caused the flood in our basement.

They were very pricey. They upgraded many outlets in the house that were old. They made them nice, tight, and fresh.

They were pretty good, solved my problem and a little expensive. I am giving them a B because of price and they had to come back a second time and plug the hole and they did and did it immediately. I probably wold not use them because of cost but not quality.

Instead of going with the old toilet kit that was in there; he went iwth a new toilet kit. He told me the kit cost about $70, but he already had one so he didn't charge me extra!

Great! The issue was resolved in one visit.

Brian was punctual, very professional and everything went well, but it was very expensive. $104.50 per light switch.

It has went okay for me. When I use them it goes okay. The price is reasonable. I would recommend them.

Very well. Good serviceman with experience of all systems. Everything working fine. Have used them again.

They replaced the flushing hardware and adjusted the water level. They were very professional and courteous. We recommend them highly.

Josh came out on the 4th of July and was super courteous and proficient. He took care of it right away and gave me great advice on future work that needs to be done. The service from the call to completion was superb! Gold stars!!

Allgood was asked to resolve the problem of the backed up sewer line. They were told that the line had been augered before but the line just gets backed up again. I was looking for a permanent solution to the problem. Allgood had no answer for the issue. They augered the line again which they knew wasn't going to work. Allgood was paid for absolutely nothing and my basement is still backed up. I will not be wasting my time with them again. I am currently looking for real plumbers to solve my problem.
