These guys were about the same prices as an el cheapo quote I got, with confident and clear service. Very glad I went with them. Everything looks and works great, and they were good about thinking through some unexpected obstacles that came up.

I purchased a $99 ceiling fan install deal from Allgood on Angie's List. Fan was replacing an existing light fixture so wires were there but brace box needed for extra support at additional cost. It did surprise me that it would cost $309 more but decided to go ahead with the project. Joe Bowman did an excellent, professional job. He came on time (they actually would have been earlier but I wasn't home) and cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely call Allgood for future jobs.

The person coming to my home was Andrew. He was personable and professional. He arrived on time and explained all the steps as he went along. Although it was quite expensive, he worked efficiently and was able to repair the electricity.

Service technician, Rich Palmer, was very helpful and supportive in my needs. Very punctual and pleasant to work with to resolve my needs. He provided helpful insight on things I need to be aware of or could do in the future to prevent issues. I definitely recommend Rich and his company for future electrical issues.

Not as fast as projected, work was well done

I feel like I was really taking advantage of. I hit my gas line in a wall hanging a big screen tv on a saturday morning. I called them because they had a lot of positive reviews on Angies list. They informed there was a $40 charge to look at and it was waived if work was performed. He came out and gave me an estimate of $819 for the work. I was sick to my stomach, but as this was saturday and I was going out to be working strange hours and long hours the following week and my children needed hot water and the stove to cook. It took him a little over 3 hours and 10 feet of black iron pipe. I felt that over $230 dollars an hour for the labor and pipe was way to much, but again I was desperate. I would have called someone else but by the time I got the estimate it was well into the afternoon and i was not sure if i could get someone else out here in time. Also when he was finished he did not clean up any of his work. I had to sweep up the drywall dust, vacuum the carpets and throw away a piece of the old pipe and all the pieces of drywall. For that kind of money, he could have at least cleaned up after himself. Also on Angies list is says to mention them for a discount. They claim they dont know anything about a discount and I even showed him there ad on angies list. So buyers beware either they charge over $200 dollars an hour for labor or they run solid gold pipe UPDATE! !!!!!!!! Contacted by owner, He apologized and gave me 15% refund. While I still think the price was high, I do appreciate the fact the owner called, owned up to not cleaning up and a failure to call me the next day to see how my service was. I respect the fact that they lived up to some of there shortcomings on this.

Fixed a light switch. Took less than 4 minutes and I was charged $142.00 I went ahead with the service since he was there. When I called I didn't ask about the price since prices on a mailer from them seemed reasonable. Example the mailer had $59 to repair any electrical outlet..........I thought fixing a simple switch would be about the same. I had a switch fixed a few months ago by another large company and it was $69. I should not have assumed anything. When I called to schedule for the switch, I had a small plumbing issue too so I also scheduled a plumber. Immediately, after the electrician left, I called and cancelled the plumber! I can only imagine how much he would have charged. So, lesson learned. Hire small local companies that charge a fair price for fair work. I will never use these people again.

Very professional and timely.

Ken did a great job, both in the initial diagnosis and the subsequent repair. My sewer line had Major roots obstructing the line, causing backup inside the house. Required major excavation and replacement of a section of the line near the street where it connected to utilities. A great job was done by the father and son team that did the actual excavation. They did their best to limit damage to bushes and trees in the area, always choosing care over ease for them.

It went fine. The pressure from the gasket was down too low so it takes more time to get enough water to the shower than usual. After the company was informed of my concern, the owner called me and sent a technician out to address and resolve the issue right away. Gareth was on time, polite and friendly, informative (which I greatly appreciated) and professional. He checked the pressure and noted it was low as I had experienced and he fixed it to my satisfaction. The water pressure from all pipes and faucets are now favorable without wasting water. Kudos to Allgood Plumbing!!!. Again I appreciate their support and input and I will gladly recommend them in the future. Marcia

I didn't want to have any surprises. They gave me really good and detailed information. They explained it to me. That was the first time that I used them. One person came out. The rate was really good on the website, and so I called them, and asked them if they could do that kind of a service, and then I hired them. The price is decent. They were punctual,and they came on time.

All I did was ask for a quote. Person on the phone made me repeat myself over and over and she still called me by the wrong name, kept saying the wrong address and phone number. So that was a bit frusterating. All I wanted was a quote but for someone to come over and give me a quote they charge $39. Maybe they do great work, I wouldn't know, based on that conversation I'm just going to call someone else.

Fast, efficient, listened to what I needed. Did not try to sell me more than I needed. Obviously a good company. Jonathan was excellent. This was a late afternoon appointment. He still got the work done that same day, including driving a fair distance to get what we needed, got back here, and installed everything until almost dark. VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.

Very nice and professional. Gave me advice n the other showers/faucets in the house. Everything seems to be working fine now. I thought the price was a little steep, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Very responsive when I called to schedule a visit. It was a Monday but 2 hours after I called they where here. We discussed options on type of water heaters, and once we decided they were ready to start the work. They started to drain the current heaters while they left to pick up two new Rheem heaters. They cam back with the heaters around 11:00am and the job was tested and completed by 3:00pm. Everything was cleaned up and no leaks any where. Job well done!! I will try their electrical services as well.

I called to have an electrician come out and make sure that power was getting to our pool pump. I had already scheduled a pool company to come out, but they weren't available until a week later and I wanted to make sure it wasn't electric before they came out. Not only did they verify that it wasn't an electrical problem, but the representative that came out had extensive experience dealing with pool equipment and he fixed a problem with the timer on the pump. The whole thing took about 2 hours or so. He saved me from having to wait another week to get my pool running. Great service! We had the plumbing service out for some gas line issues in the fall and the same situation. Identified the problem and fixed it the same day at a very reasonable price. Can't say enough about Allgood.

Very high quote of $2500 - Said he would use my previous breakers. If I would have gone with him, it would have been against code. I ended up going with someone else who charged me much less.

Have been very pleased with them. All of their services are terrific. They’re the nicest people, and everyone who works there are amazing. They’re a great company.

He found that the switches were fine but there was an issue with the wiring. I really thought he did a great job.

The electrician (Rich) was exceptionally professional and capable. Exceeded my expectations in all areas including cost.

Gareth was the installer, and he was great! Our old water heater was 17 years old, and the thermocouple went out. Gareth came out replaced everything, and then cleaned up perfectly (even moving my fishing rods back in the same exact position they were in before).
