Positives: the installer was on time, polite friendly ,and knowledgeable. He worked quickly without making a huge mess and cleaned up what little mess there was when he finished. Negatives: the company telephone receptionist/scheduler could not/would not give an estimate over the phone for this rather routine procedure. Iwas told the installer would quote me a price on site. The onsite quote made it much more difficult to compare prices. As well, it obligated me to accept what I believe to be an above average price, as the installer had already driven to our home, and I was anxious to get this done.

Very professional and courteous. William the supervisor was fantastic in making sure I was happy at the end of the day. Overall a success the job was completed quickly and efficiently.

Mark gave a very detailed estimate and provided the best possible working solution. I also enquired snappy service and other local plumbing to give me the estimates for the same work. Compared to all the other providers, allgood provided us with the most cost efficient estimate and the most complete working solution without compromising the quality of work and to top it off, I was able to apply the 100$ angies list coupon to get a better deal.

Clogged sewer line and a flooded finished basement occurred on a Sunday afternoon. Allgood responded immediately and fixed the problem. They also recommended a restoration company that cleaned up the mess Sunday afternoon also. Tommy Fitzgerald with Allgood was great to work with.

I called on Sat July 11 and was scheduled, by Sabrina, for service of the 4 toilets on July 14, 2015. Sabrina was very responsive and she answered all of my questions about payment and the service visit. The service tech, Gareth Evans, arrived on schedule. He was very professional and also responsive to my description of the problems with the 4 toilets. I was impressed with how efficiently he assessed the total situation. At the beginning, he checked the water pressure of the main water line in the house and showed me that the gauge registered a very high pressure. This made sense to me since I had noticed that the water coming out of the faucets, shower head, and ice maker had developed a loud hissing sound; but I had not connected these observations to high water pressure. Gareth explained that the high pressure in the water line was affecting everything attached to it, including the toilets. He recommended that the Pressure Reducing Valve be replaced and along with replacement of parts within the toilet tanks. He also replaced the defective toilet shut off valve. I realized that if I had attempted a DIY repair of the toilet fill valves, I would have missed the related/bigger problem of the failure of the Pressure Reducing Valve and the 1 toilet shut off valve. Gareth performed the work very efficiently and then demonstrated the repairs to me. He was very pleasant and announced his presence when entering and exiting. Gareth's explanation of the work, guarantees, and the charges were clear and I remain pleased that he was my service tech. Another person at Allgood Plumbing that impressed me was Tonia; she was pleasant in explaining how my Angie's list coupon was applied to my total bill. I really feel that I am in good hands with Allgood Plumbing!

I purchased a coupon for $50 for $100 in services. AllGood reached out to me promptly to schedule a visit. Gareth did a great job diagnosing our problem and fixing it. He also recommended other services I asked about in the future.

i don't know really where to begin..I was messing around with plumbing and somehow did something that made water start leaking and could not turn it off. I panicked. I found Allgood and they were out the same day- actually called to see if they could come ahead of time- which is perfect for my schedule. Gareth came out and was the nicest ever. I really think the world of him.. Nice, courteous, great listener to my plumbing woes, and fixed it in about 30 minutes. I was just really blown away by the professionalism and the kindness. Our ten-year old hot water heater went out suddenly and completely on Saturday night (of course), and on Sunday morning we checked Angie's List hoping to find a good Sunday plumber. Called Allgood's and within an hour-and-a-half, Gareth showed up to check things out. Prior to arrival, he called and when I told him what type of water heater we had and its age, he told me what he thought the problem was as it is a common one with these particular heaters. Upon arrival and inspection, he determined that that was indeed the problem and provided thorough description of several options from repair to replacement with a tankless water heater or a gas heater with various warranties, prices, etc. We decided on a new gas heater (rather than tankless, price being a major factor there), and Gareth apologized for not having the size we needed on his truck, He said he could return first thing Monday to do the installation. Once he knew we called Allgood's because of Angie's List, he reminded me to check for discounts or coupons. (There was a $50 one available.) We scheduled the work for the next day, he arrived on time, and was finished by noon. He was careful to explain how everything worked, including the recirculating system (which should save a lot of water in this house!), explained the charges again, and cleaned up perfectly. He was very knowlegeable and very professional, also friendly and hard-working. It's hard to love a water heater, but I think this one will be great compared to the old one, and we already love the recirculation feature! Thanks, Gareth!

Being a condo that was built in the early 1960s, age took it toll on the plumbing in the tub area of our condo. It seemed that every time the professional plumber started to do the work, something else needed to be replaced. In the end, I now have new copper pipes in the wall with new shower handles and shower head.

The technician arrived on time and did good work, though it was quite pricey.

The electrician Rich Palmer, quoted $900+ for the work but came down to $300 for two hours work. I did not realize that it should not cost more than $39 or max $150 for this job. I felt robbed. Allgood Plumbing Electric are not professional or honest which is the basic value for a business to thrive. They trick new people with their marketing strategy which is: 1) Quote very high 2) Reduce price 3) Get the deal.

They were very polite and friendly and he did a nice job of explaining what it would cost before he started any work.

The repair took approx. 30 minutes or less. I was very pleased with being able to use the outlets in my kitchen however, I think the repair was over priced considering that I had the replacement part already.

I always ask for Gareth, he is the best plumber I've had.

We called Allgood and got lucky that they had a plumber available on a Sunday. Our hot water heater had started to show signs of breaking down, such as undrainable sediment and rust, so we wanted to get it replaced before it started leaking. Gareth showed us a couple of options and we went with the Rheem 40-gallon, dual-anode unit. It was a tall unit, so he had to replace the pipes. He corrected the location of the bladder, which was incorrectly installed, and replaced the compression fittings at the PVC pipes with adhesive fittings since he did not like compression fittings on older PVC pipes. It will take a few hours for those to dry, but no worries, he told us exactly what to do. All in all, the job was completed in about three hours. Gareth was highly professional and reflected well on his company.

John arrived on time and repaired our toilet. We discussed getting a new one, but he was able to repair ours, so we decided to wait since we had other things we wanted to do elsewhere in the house. He checked out our water heater and we decided to go ahead and get a new one since ours was 16 years old. He took the time to show us how to set the water heater for energy efficiency when we go out of town. We discussed changing out faucets in a double sink and tub and set up another service appointment for this. This was our request. He would have gladly installed them during today's service call. We really appreciate the fact that we won't have to pay a service charge for either call because we are actually having work done both times. Had we not wanted him to replace or fix anything after the initial walk-through of our plumbing issues, we would have paid a service charge. John was even willing to pick up a needed faucet trim kit needed to complete the faucet installation scheduled for a later date, eliminating our need to search for a plumbing supply company that had what we needed. This type of service means a lot to Seniors. We would recommend the company to anyone and will keep their number handy for the next time we need their services.
