Allgood Plumbing Electric Heating & Cooling

Horribly, horribly, horribly. Who in their right mind and heart would charge more than $500 to install a ceiling fan and brace box? This did NOT include the cost of the fan. The company clearly took advantage of a bad situation. So, yes, they installed the ceiling fan, but I could have had that done -- with the brace box -- for less than $200. I called William, the manager, and he was absolutely the least responsive company rep I have ever talked to. He said I wasn't looking at things "his way." Hmmm...aren't businesses supposed to always keep the customer satisifed? I explained the situation, that my sister was recently out of the hospital, that I was unemployed, that this was an outrageous amount of money I never would have authorized -- and in fact did not. He took off about $100 because I told him that the price he charged was more than the advertised price on the website, but he would bend no more. Single women or men who do not know how to fix things: BEWARE! This company will use scare tactics and then charge you an exorbitant price.

Went very well. Electrician did a good job replacing the dryer outlet and covering the holes that were needed to run the new wiring as well as the new breaker panel. Did a good job explaining some electrical questions.

Very good work, but a bit high priced. Perhaps it was my fault for not asking enough questions. I was impressed with the work, but had no idea 2 hours of this type of work was that expensive, even with coupon. If you have specific item or repair needed, get a coupon for that and do not add anything.

I was very happy with the service provided by Allgood. I had several bids on the work needed and Allgood was the most comprehensive analysis and also the most competitive price. The technician arrived when they said he would, and he really went the extra mile to do a thorough and quality job. I felt they took the time to know exactly what I was looking for and then did their best to deliver (which they did). I highly recommend this company and will certainly do business with them in the future.

It was not good. I think it was ridiculously overpriced. They waned $4000 to fix it. We paid $600 for them to basically do nothing. I would highly not recommend them to anybody.

Done quickly, efficiently and pleasantly. Love my new fan and I'm ordering to get another done in the bedroom. Definitely recommend.

Russell was plumber who came to house and tried to charge 135 dollars for a toilet repair that I later did myself which only required a 5 dollar handle and knob for the toilet from Home Depot. This was 1 simple screw that literally took less than a minute to install. Russell said the toilet fill valve and associated parts needed to be replaced which was not true. So, Russell with Allgood was extraordinarily dishonest. This also confirmed my suspicion that he overcharged me to perform a simple repair on a leaky bathroom faucet. I bought a $50 dollars Angie's list coupon for $100 worth of work and he charged me an additizonal $116.00. This job maybe took 20 minutes. So, Russell with Allgood plumbing was not Allgood and is dishonest and lacks pricing integrity with regards to his work.

It was acceptable. The price was high. I haven't done a lot of shopping but they were not inexpensive. "A" would be for outstanding and I don't think they were. I would look for somebody else.

It went well. I was very happy with the technician, the information he provided, his professionalism, and the quality of work. The quotes and diagnostic fee seemed a little high, but this is gut feeling and I did not shop the job. I would use and recommend Allgood again, but I will also do some price checking next time. You often get what you pay for.

They are a big rip off. I hire their plumber too.

Could not have gone more smoothly. They were able to come on the day I called. The new tankless unit was installed the next day. The electrical work was also completed the day the heater was installed. They were very professional, knowledgable and friendly. They were on time for every appointment. The customer service folks were efficient and accomodating. I was so happy with their work that I am going to use them for an upcoming kitchen and bath remodel.

It didn't go so well and they charged way too much for the plumbing services. They fixed minor issues and they charged me $550 dollars for that. The guy came on time and did what he was supposed to to. Responsiveness and punctuality was very good.

Customer service was excellent! They were extremely helpful and accommodating for me and my scheduling needs. The gentleman they sent out was a wonderful representative for their company. I do have two concerns about the work, though. First, he installed the pan on an angle, and since I have a tight laundry "closet," now my dryer must be on an angle as well to fit. It's not an earth shattering thing, but I'd love to have that corrected. And, of course, that more than likely means I need another pan as well, because this one has the hole drilled in it to fit the pipe placement. It won't be the same if the pan is straightened. Second, after he left, I found that the gentleman did not clean up all the chunks of cement and the pan debris after, and I had to do it. Again, it's a tight laundry closet and I had to squeeze beside the washing machine to clean it up, and there was also debris in front of the washer as well. Overall, I was very happy to have them come as quickly as they did. I was also very happy with his great customer service, to the point where he even went to buy the proper pan for my drain pipe placement. I would have been totally confused! I still recommend their service. These are small things, but I had to mention them.

They busted their butts - and then made me aware of an awesome deal for a whole-house circuit-breaker while they were here (and this deal is 100% legit). Love these guys = they are definitely Allgood!!

The gentleman had to leave because he forgot his snake. After he performed the job, the problem was not solved.I tried to get them to return they was too busy or they were booked up therefore I had to hire another plumber to come and finish their job.

Daniel Was very professional and helpful. Completed the work quickly and efficiently. Offered to work with me on the price. Would use Allgood plumbing again.

Needless to say, I did not accept the services. The estimate was a joke.

Allgood was great! I came home Wed night and water was flowing down my front lawn into the street like a small river. There was a leak in the pipe between the water meter and the house. I called Allgood first thing the next morning. Sabrina promptly answered the phone in a very professional and helpful manner. I told her what was going on and she said immediately that they would prioritize my call because I didn't have any water. Within 30 min the dispatcher Tammy called to tell me the appointment was scheduled and the plumber, Ken, was on his way. He was at my house within an hour. He went right to work. It took about 3 hours to get the work done. Ken replaced the old piping with copper pipe and installed 2 new ball valves. The work he did looked great! I will definitely go back to Allgood if I ever need any more plumbing services.

The gentleman who came out to provide the service was wonderful, cordial, and personable. They responded so quickly to my call. His service attitude was stellar! He helped so very much! However, he did not clean up after, and I was left to clean up left over cement dust and chunks. Additionally, the pan was installed crooked. Although the washer fit over properly, the washer is crooked, and the dryer is crooked as well. I'd really like to have that straightened out!

I was VERY specific when I called about what we needed to have done, dishwasher needed to be pulled out, would need to find leak, etc...asked price and they said price for someone to come to the house was $39. After the plumber diagnosed the leak he asked for payment and said price was $129...evidently the diagnostic fee is $129 and the dispatch fee is $39. As specific as I was on the phone, this very easily could have been explained ahead of time. The plumber was nice, and only charged me $39. My other issue was that since I was so specific about our leak, I assumed they'd be able to repair it when it was found...he found it and then quickly told me he wasn't an appliance repair person and couldn't fix it...that was also not mentioned ahead of time. I would much rather a company be honest and tell me they can't do what I'm asking to have done, than to take my money and then tell me the same thing. I called the office and explained what had happened, asked if they could do anything about the $39, said I'd get a call back, and never did.

I have used Allgood several times in the past for plumbing repairs and was pleased with their work. Their prices were a little on the high side but not totally out of line. This was my first time to use them for electrical service. Same great professionalism and timeliness, but I thought their pricing was way out of line. I had purchased a replacement J box at Home Depot for $10.00 to replace the one that had cracked, but it was the wrong size, so they did supply one. Even if they doubled the cost of the part, it would only have been $20.00. I purchased their certificate for $200.00 worth of electrical service expecting that to cover this minor repair. I was shocked when he gave me the price before he started - $321.00. Since I had already purchased their certificate, I went ahead and let him repair the light. I did tell him that I did not plan on using them again in the future for any electrical work based on the cost of this repair. I have stated I would not use their service again for electrical because of their pricing, but I would still use their plumbing service.
